Negative experience: I have given them my insurance information 5 times. Then they claim they got the claim back as unpaid. Well my insurance company says they never received the claim. So we call them and give them the information again. And it goes round and round. We've never had issues with any other dental providers or our insurances when it comes to claims. Only them. It's ridiculous and very poor training if the staff.

Fantastic experience: Fell during my granddaughter’s graduation party and took out parts of my front teeth. This was on a holiday. The next day I learned my regular dentist was out of town for 2 weeks. I feel very lucky to find this Aspen office was able to take me that day and make plans for a crown.

Fantastic experience: I apologize for giving a good review. It's going on 2 years and I am still getting new charges that I was never told about until now.. A few months ago I got a charge and I paid it because I figured it was for stitches. The ONLY thing that was done that was different from what was agreed upon. Everything has to be paid up front before they do the work. When I aid the last bill I told the woman at the desk there should be nothing else and she told me no there is no more charges. I knew there was not because everything was paid. I was given a statement with balance due 0. I should have read previous reviews and I urge everybody to read their reviews. Reviews are NOT GOOD. My insurance paid, my loan with who they set it up with paid and the over $2000 was paid as agreed upon on the day they started. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Fantastic experience: They are absolutely amazing. By the time I found them I was so beat up by my old dentist, second opinions, and my soon to be ex husband. Their smile and kindness meant so much to me. From a 51 one year old woman who has been through the worse two months of her life. Their smile started at the X-rays with Mattie. And just continued on with the hygienist, dentist, and finance gentleman. It really makes me excited to look forward to my new smile. Thank you soooo very much

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Went in for first visit for something simple. After examining, Dahiya started talking to me about a completely different procedure without even commenting on what I came for. She said it was better to do it her way which is ok but you don’t just jump ahead with your plan without talking to the patient especially when it’s thousands of dollars more. She starts doing what I came in for and can’t seem to figure it out. That gets done and was told to come back in 5 hours around 4:30 or 5. I come back and guess who decided to go home early without notifying me or calling to tell me my stuff was done. I’m outside in the rain, bawling my eyes out pounding on the door only for an associate leaving to tell me they left early cause they had no patients. I see why.

Negative experience: DON’T VISIT IF YOU HAVE A DENTAL EMERGENCY they wanted me to reschedule to get x rays from my regular dentist or charge me for x rays, otherwise they wouldn’t take care of the issue. I am talking about a gum issue, not even a toothache. Which they did not know since they didn’t even took care of me. The worst part was the condescending tone the receptionist used and a staff member behind her. I don’t even wanna consider it has to be due to a presupposition to feel entitled to disregard my concerns and use that tone with me due to the R word. But here I am, still with a gum issue trying to see how to keep my gums from getting worse (my family has history of periodontal disease) while my regular office works on getting me an appointment as soon as possible, concerned it will be worse by the time my regular dentist has an appointment available. Horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dahiya is an expert in dentistry — we were very comfortable receiving treatment from her. Since I have elderly parents who have limited English proficiency, I needed a doctor who was easily approachable: Dr. Dahiya was exactly who I was looking for. She explained very clearly what she was going to do before starting any procedure, alleviating our concerns and giving us courage. Our satisfaction was furthered when we saw how simple it was to schedule an appointment with her — the office staff were helpful in this manner. She also effectively presented all the options we had for treatment, so we were equipped with sufficient information to make the best decision. Dr. Dahiya is indeed very caring, and it is clear she genuinely wants the best outcomes for her patients.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. Every time you go in they tell you that you need stuff you don’t actually need. They tricked my wife into getting a deep gum cleaning when she thought it was a normal cleaning that is covered by insurance. Come to find out at checkout it is $600 and insurance doesn’t cover a cent. Afterwards it became clear that this “deep cleaning” is something they frequently use to up charge customers. $600 out of pocket is a lot for something you don’t need. Have since found multiple people with the same story and there is a dedicated Facebook group to it.

Negative experience: They're awful when it comes to billing. I needed a filling and cleaning, I walked out with an itemized list of things I needed and started asking questions. I started digging deeper to find out that they were billing random things without going over care or plan of action or what was being billed. One thing on the itemized list was listerine. Why bill that if I could refuse it and get it at the store? And then a few other things weren't even relevant to my care at all. When calling to cancel, who I was talking to got really snappy with me. I was already told in a previous call that it would be canceled. They didn't do it so I wasn't exactly happy about having to call again. When I told them, again, I wasn't happy about how I was billed she told me I could talk to a doctor. I said "it's okay I am going somewhere else." In which she replied "I think the doctors here know more than your sister who just works a front desk." I told her it was my SIL who is a dental hygienist and so she knows what she's talking about. In which her final response was, "fine, then you should go to her. Byeeeeee." And then hung up on me. Not professional, not someone who should be at the front desk talking to people. I'm now understand why the reviews here are garbage.

Fantastic experience: Definitely the sweetest people I have ever had at any medical office. They are friendly and engaging. I had a ton of work done in one sitting and they were very compassionate and caring. If you don’t like going to a dentist or if you are afraid of the dentist come here, you will feel totally relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I am always pleased with the dental care that I receive at Aspen Dental in Delaware. The staff are professional and respectful. And the service is just wonderful. They take the time to listen to my concerns and do their very best to help me make the best decision about my dental care. Although there are dental services available less than five minutes from my home, I have no problem driving the half an hour plus to Aspen Dental in Delaware because I know I will receive the best care there.

Negative experience: Traveling out of state for work, I didn’t want to miss my regular twice-a-year teeth cleaning. I decided to give Aspen Dental a try since it’s a national chain. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst dental office experience I’ve had. When I called to make the appointment, I specifically said that I needed a cleaning. The person on the phone told me they might not be able to guarantee the cleaning because schedules can fluctuate. I told them clearly that if a cleaning wasn’t possible, I would rather cancel the appointment. She reassured me that she would try her best to squeeze me in and said the schedule looked promising, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, they spent more than 30 minutes taking X-rays, which I understand is standard for a new patient. However, they again emphasized that they might not be able to do a cleaning. At that point I was already frustrated, but I still wanted to see if they could complete the visit. After the exam, they tried to covince me to receive an extra fancy cleaning, insisited that i needed this more than $200 "treatment" that my insurance does not cover. They said I have plaque buildup and germs between my gum lines and recommended a “special cleaning.” I asked very clearly whether this meant periodontal disease. They said no. I then asked if they were recommending a deep cleaning. They again said no, that it was not a deep cleaning. Since it wasn’t periodontal disease and wasn’t a deep cleaning, I told them I would prefer to sort this out with my regular dentist when I return home and asked if I could simply proceed with a regular cleaning that day. They told me no. They said that once they diagnosed this issue, they were legally required to recommend that treatment and that if I refused it, they would not be able to perform a regular cleaning. This is not a law, rather the store policy of Apsen Dental. They tried to terrorize me into doing this treatment that I essential don't need--It's not an emergency and I can decide what is the best for me. This is the first time I have ever heard of something like this after more than a decade of routine dental visits. It felt like they were trying to push a $200+ procedure that my insurance doesn’t cover rather than simply providing the preventive cleaning I came in for. The doctors themselves seemed polite, but the person delivering this information—who appeared to be a financial coordinator—came across as very condescending. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I will not be returning to Aspen Dental and would not recommend this office to others.

Fantastic experience: The dentist here is the BEST!! I used to hate my smile but she has me loving it again I don’t do well with needles but she does an awesome job with making me feel comfortable when I have to get shots!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was amazing from the moment that I went in and filled out paperwork and met Nick the practice manager to the wonderful Sierra who comforted me at the counter this morning when I signed in and assured me that everything was going to be OK, the Dr. was beyond amazing as I am very scared of Dentists and other than the needle pinch, no pain during the procedure. And I thank God for Audrea Who was comforting me, and held my hand as I squeezed scared to death through the entire procedure which only really lasted about 10 minutes. Fantastic experience: My first review ever and I really want to share that this place is a 10/10. Dr. Navanit really turned things around for me during my visit when I was very nervous about being at the dentist. No other dentist (I have been to 6 other dentists) took their time to explain to me on what was going on with my teeth and my gums. Doc has excellent hand skills. Didn't know that teeth could look so natural.

Negative experience: Went in 3 weeks ago with broken tooth. Told them needed extract. Took out over a $3000 loan to cover it. They scheduled me 5 times in 2 weeks never touched the problem tooth. Showed up today for the extraction finally, which is the one thing I came in for. It's throbbing, bleeding, and is infected. I wanted it extracted 3 weeks ago and they tried to charge me another $700, to do what I took the loan out for. They said we already went threw the loan balance. Obviously walked out, i got the loan for a specific tooth and problem they failed to even touch it. So for 3 weeks they left me in pain and debt to tell me they used my loan on other stuff that needed done first that wasn't bothering me. Absolutely ridiculous

Positive experience: I had an appointment for cleaning few weeks back, I worked in the day for my appointment, I gave them my details including my dental insurance. I also paid out of pocket for x-Ray. At the middle of my exams/procedures they told me my insurance is not active. I was surprised because I checked my insurance a day before and downloaded my insurance card, and they are within my insurance network. Cut store short, I called my insurance and they told me, my insurance/dental insurance is active. I also checked online and it is boldly written “Active”. I called them to inform them about that, and the lady I spoken with was not polite, was rude. I asked her if she needs more proof/information from my insurance, and was trying to tell her that I would pay out of pocket because I have already started the process with them. she doesn’t want to listen to me, she is only saying your insurance is not active. Why didn’t you inform me during my check-in that my insurance is not active from your side, before I wasted my time sitting there and did other exams there, and drive all the way there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dahiya is the BEST dentist I’ve met. Extremely kind, caring, and gentle. Works with you to come up with a plan for your mouth that makes sense for you AND your wallet. I know some Aspen Dentals get a bad reputation, but please do not be fooled or group this fantastic doctor in with others’ negative reviews. She’s the best! I will definitely be returning for all of my future dental needs! So happy I found this dentist office! Thank you team Delaware!

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience. I felt that they wanted to do procedures that I did not need and the prices were way too high

Negative experience: I’ve been reaching out for a refund of 199 for over a month and a half and finally got the refund after calling a total of 8 times over the course of a month and a half. i was told i would receive the refund after i first called and never did. it took over a month and a half of chasing them down with calls and voicemails to finally get my refund for a service i never received and didn’t okay the purchase for. i was under the impression it was for a procedure that my insurance didn’t cover and came to find out it was an electric toothbrush and flossed… almost 200 for a tooth brush and flossed…. THAT I DIDNT KNOW I WAS PURCHASING!!!! never ever ever have work at this place- my fillings left me with sensitivity as well! i’d rather pay an arm and a leg out of pocket then go to this place again!

Negative experience: The way the front desk staff handled a billing issue today was unprofessional, dismissive, and deeply upsetting. Their accusatory tone, refusal to involve the manager, and claim that I was withholding money from them made me feel as if I were being treated like a criminal. They said I couldn’t leave until I paid 2k; even though I had never received a bill or email about this prior to my appt. Even the dental hygienist, who appeared uncomfortable about the situation, did not acknowledge or address the fact that I was visibly upset and crying. The front desk ladies are bullies. They held my appt up for 50min trying to force me to pay a bill with no prior notice or time for me to get ahold of my insurance company. I went there for a 3:00 PM dental cleaning and didn’t see the dental hygienist until 3:50PM. I left feeling devalued, unwelcome, and humiliated. While Mr. Rector later apologized over the phone when I spoke with him tonight, the behavior of the front desk staff and the overall experience were unacceptable. I sincerely hope that Aspen Dental addresses these issues and works to improve communication, billing practices, and above all, patient care.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. I had an emergency over the weekend where I had a back molar split into from a filling coming out. Since Friday night, I have been in agonizing pain, and I couldn’t get in anywhere until Tuesday morning because of the holiday. I picked this place because it was close to home as my normal dentist is about 30 minutes away. I went in and they told me basically everything I already knew – I had a broken tooth with the nerve exposed. No kidding… They gave me a treatment plan that had no details whatsoever it would be almost $3000 out of pocket. When I asked for the details, I explained that my insurance will cover some this year and I could wait till next year to save a lot more money to it. The lady tried to convince me that I needed to get it done sooner. I asked for something to help with the pain as I’ve only been able to get like two hours of sleep a night. I was told from the dentist to take the amoxicillin along with ibuprofen and Tylenol. I explained to her that that normally does not work for me, and I have been through this before, and she said to call back in the morning if it does not work. I call back this morning, and I’m told from some lady that answered the phone to just keep taking the ibuprofen and Tylenol. I explained what the dentist said, and after I pushed very hard, she said that she would talk to the dentist to send over a script. I never saw anything come through so I called back again this afternoon. I got a different lady who seemed like she was actually willing to maybe help, put me on hold, and then I got the original lady (not the dentist) who said she spoke with the dentist and to give it 2 to 3 days for it to work. I don’t know what their problem is or what they’re thinking! My tooth freaking hurts, I can’t get any sleep, and they want me to continue to be an agonizing pain until I guess I go into full-blown dementia from loss of sleep. Never ever ever in my life, have I had such an experience with the dentist. I’ve been to three different dentist, and because of the way my teeth have deep grooves, I unfortunately have had many cavities and root canals, and this is the very first time someone has just tried to keep me in agonizing pain. This place is more than a joke, I don’t even know if they have licenses to practice. Hopefully this helps someone else to not have such a horrible experience.

Negative experience: Paid $3700+ for a wisdom tooth extraction and 2 partial dentures. Was told to come back after the tooth was extracted because the partials were not in. Fast forward 1 week, I had an appointment to get my partials. Walked in and was told I had to pay $550 for a cleaning? Which i was never told anything about after already paying the $3700+. I told them 3 times I didn't want the cleaning just give me my partials, and they wouldn't give me. Asked for a manager or a phone number to the corporate office. I was given a number that wasn't even close to the corporate office. I called another Aspen Dental close to my house and they were very helpful with giving the actual number. Spoke with corporate and they were very helpful with taking my claim. And I shall receive a phone call with in the next couple days. I've already spoken with the BBB and Attorney General. All because I asked for my money back on the partial dentures and was given a bogus number and i was being pressured into something I didn't want.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. My fiance went in because he was having alot of pain in his back tooth. They went in and told him he needed a root canal on the tooth bothering him and a filling on the other side. They did the filling and it fell out less then 2 weeks later. They also gave him a root canal and deep clean estimate, he wanted them to just pull the tooth but they said they wouldn't do that because the tooth was "savable" so he agreed to the root canal/crown and cleaning. When he went in for this they ended up doing a scaling along with the deep clean. He never agreed to this and they never informed him of this added procedure (this added procedure cost him almost another 2 grand) . On top of all this he is still in alot of pain which it what he went in to fix in the first place! They just want your money and won't actually help you. Something else to add- Like other reviews I'm seeing they will just keep adding more and more to your bill everytime you are there without telling you why it's going up. They give you one price then it more and more. If you call in asking about your bill they will give you the run around on why it has increased without ever giving you a real answer. Then will tell you to talk with the manager. The manager will not talk to you. They are always to "busy" when you ask to speak with them weather you are at the office in person or on the phone. They will not call you back either. 2 month update: his crown got a small hole in the top about 2.5 weeks after having it put in. Today the crown completely came off after only 2 MONTHS! Not only did it cost a boat load of money we didn't have now it needs fixed AGAIN.

Negative experience: I purchased motto which is Aspens version of Invisalign. The bottom teeth were not straight after the initial trays. I went to a different location to have them finish the Motto but after bringing me into their office and wasting an hour and a half of my time they told me I would have to start the entire process over and pay for the Invisalign again. Slightly confusing but even tho all Aspens have Motto, the offices are independent so they don’t work with each other. The Motto states “If you don’t love your results once treatment is finished, simply contact your doctor and you’ll get up to two bonus sets of aligners to put the final touches on your smile.” So slightly frustrating and wouldn’t recommend

Negative experience: So the front desk lady Audra is the most unpleasant , inconvenienced, person I have met in a longtime. She's not pleasant at all. Everyone else is so helpful and kind. She just acts like she hates her job!!!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I called about a broken tooth…to talking with Nick, the finance manager...to the follow up visit after my oral surgery, the staff at Aspen Dental Delaware was fantastic! Audra greeted me with a smile the moment I walked in the door. She was very helpful with all the forms I needed to fill out. When I was called back to start my exam, Nora was so very kind and did not make me feel silly or bad about being anxious. She went out of her way to reassure me as to what to expect. Dr. D was fantastic! Both she and the oral surgeon I saw, had to gentlest touch, and I experienced no pain at all during the two procedures I had. I have never experienced such kindness and caring in dealing with my teeth. Dr. D even gave me a koosh ball to ease my anxiety! I will highly recommend Aspen Dental Delaware to family and friends. Thank you Dr. D, Nora, Audra, and Nick. You made this the best Dental experience I’ve ever had!

Negative experience: Don’t go unless you want to have work done that you don’t need and that will also cost you an arm and a leg. Also don’t go if you don’t want to be called tons of times and spoken to in a very rude manner! We’ve been called over five times about an appointment we had and each time we’ve said we want to cancel (which they would then call a couple hours later to try and get us to reschedule instead of cancel). They’ve responded in rude, condescending, ways each time and have been EXTREMELY pushy to the point I am feel far too uncomfortable to go back.

Fantastic experience: Audra, Maddy, Nick and Dr D at Aspen Dental were caring, efficient, and effective. Haven’t been to a Dentist in 20+ years…. I was screened, analyzed, and scheduled for next steps with minimal tears

Negative experience: Horrible experience long wait times over an hour from my appointment. Then they only did half of the work and sent me home to have to come back the next day and finish the work. They do not respect there clients time.

Fantastic experience: These people are great! The doc was very thorough and friendly. The cancer screening was cool. The other technology that they utilized was also very cool. (A 3 d picture of the teeth, gyms, ect.) Every staff member, from the friendly front desk worker to the very nice technician in the back and everyone else with whom we came into contact was great, friendly, and helpful. They also got us in same day after I had called 5 other places. My family member had developed some pain while chewing and they were able to get us scheduled right away. Great customer service. Thank you again Aspen Dental. :)

Fantastic experience: First time visitng Apen Dental today. I met Bijal first and she took my images and got me ready for the dentist (she got to listen as I complained about my teeth lol) and then I met Candice who checked out my dental hygiene (she said she's gonna get my gums back to the healthy state lol hopefully). The actual dentist was very honest with me about what I needed completed and she didn't try to pressure me into something unreasonable. Very nice office and the dental staff is extremely friendly. Haven't had any work done yet but once I do I'll be back to update.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for a limited exam just to look at one tooth. The first thing they wanted me to do was a panoramic xray. There is absolutely no reason to xray my whole mouth for 1 tooth. I would have consented to it had I been there for a clean or full exam.

Fantastic experience: I've gone here a couple times already and it's honestly a really good dentist. I wouldn't say prices are affordable, but they are good at what they do so definitely worth the money. The receptionist lady is probably my favorite person in that building. The receptionists I'm used to are typically so mean, and she just makes the whole experience start off great. The dental hygienists are also wonderful and very helpful. They don't make you feel about your teeth, and they answer any question you throw their way. I recommend going here if you're anxious about visiting the dentist. Just call them don't book online they might be able to help you with a coupon for your first visit.

Fantastic experience: The facility was very polite and made my wife and myself very welcome. I feel I chose the right place for my dental work. We both were very pleased with the whole process Looking forward to my dental work.

Positive experience: Honestly, I was misinformed regarding what could and would be done at the office as this was an emergency. I drove 20 miles and took time off work for nothing. That's all I have to say without going into detail. The staff was professional and polite and I'm sure its not their fault.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to have work done! My partial they made for me didn't fit just right so they took more scans of my mouth and made me a new one that fits perfectly! Very nice people to deal with! Highly recommend

Negative experience: They bill your 3rd party financing company before doing any work. When I called to work this out over the phone with them after having cancelled the appointments two months ago, I got hung up on. Go anywhere else but to Aspen Dental. **edit post corporate reply I called the corporate billing office prior to reaching out to the branch itself. I was told, paraphrasing: this is the corporate billing office and third party billing is handled by the branch. So, again, avoid Aspen Dental. I’ve opened a fraud dispute with my 3rd party financing company so we’ll see where this goes before involving a lawyer.

Negative experience: Would never recommend going to any location. I scheduled an appointment for a basic exam. I was told it would be $25. When I showed up (on time) for the exam they said that they didn’t have me on the schedule and that it would cost $250. The Marion location is even worse, they will never follow up with you or call you back. They will also send you to collections without ever sending a bill via mail, email, or calling/texting you. Overall terrible establishment, not sure how they’re in business.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to visit because of a dental emergency. I was scheduled immediately and the friendly skilled staff, with their attention to detail, had me smiling again in no time!

Positive experience: The dentist and techs were fine. We waited 45 minutes to talk with the finance guy. He was barely pleasant. After quoting $16K for work, he was not happy that we asked for a specific breakdown and then he wrote down work to be done with no price breakdown. I would rate the Dr a 5 but the office staff a 1 for customer service.

Negative experience: Avoid this place like the plague. They tell you that it will cost one amount for everything then they keep telling you owe more money each time you go in even though you paid in full up front. The manager of this location refuses to speak with us in person, he set up a time to meet with my wife to discuss what the problem was and when she arrived they said he was busy. When he noticed her in the waiting room he acted like he never seen her and went straight back to his office. She was also supposed to have a soft alignment done but had to wait almost 2.5 hours to be seen, and yet the manager could still not make the time to speak with her. I called the corporate office which put me in touch with the Delaware office and I was able to actually speak with the manager and he even admitted that he gave my wife the amount she paid in full was for both upper and lower dentures with extractions, but once I called him out he tried to back track what he said. We have filed a complaint with corporate and the regional manager is supposed to call us however he or she has not even called us yet either shocking I know lol. With all the negative reviews on this location you would think somebody in corporate would start asking questions and either pulling this location or finding new management.

Negative experience: Uncaring corporate shills. Went in needing an extraction. Stated this when scheduling appointment and upon arrival. They were happy to charge me for the appointment and take X-rays only to tell me the extraction could not be done til a later date. Scheduled for a later date. Due to unforseen circumstances, I was stranded in North Carolina the morning of my appt and had to reschedule. Showed up for my new appt only for them to say 'you didn't confirm your appt, we will have to see if we can squeeze you in.'. Explained how I had already come and been refused the treatment I requested essentially only for the manager to come out and both he and the receptionist to cop an attitude and argue with me instead of getting the issue solved. I walked out and will not be returning. Probably not a good idea to treat your patients like they don't matter, and even worse idea to have a discount Gordon Gekko in the front office.

Negative experience: i called in to schedule to get seen for a root canal, i told the lady on the phone that i previously got my xrays and she said i should bring them in case my insurance wouldn’t cover them again since they were just yesterday. i came in the office and the lady at the front desk took my info and confirmed my insurance, i got called into the back to get my appointment started. they took xrays which is ok since i spoke with someone over the phone that i already got them, and when the lady at the office confirmed my insurance she didn’t let me know of anything that would be due. i get everything done and on my way out i ask if there is anything else i have to do and she said yes, my insurance wouldn’t cover another xray since i just got some done yesterday. ok that’s understandable but this should have been told to me after you confirmed my insurance yes or no?? pretty much very unprofessional in this case and very much miscommunicated what i would be owing at the time of my appointment. on top of that this was probably the dirtiest dentist i’ve ever been to. the tools in the back room are covered in watermarks. only good thing about this place is the guy that took my xray was pretty cool. other than that save yourself the trip.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment on 1/6/25 the ladies who greeted me at the front desk Audra and Kendall were amazing as we all patiently waited for my permission slip to be faxed from my OB Dr. The gentleman who who took my X-ray Logan was kind and professional! The dentist Dr. A was kind and quick/ efficient as well! Nick the office manager was also exceptional and helped me to get approved/ scheduled in for my appointment next week! Fantastic experience: What an outstanding experience! I went for a consult and was very pleased with all the staff and outcome of the visit. Hands down the best dental experience I’ve had in years. Plus I choose them for the procedure. What would have taken months to complete at 4 times the price and an unnecessary surgery, I will have it completed in less than 2 weeks with no surgery. Highly recommend!
