Fantastic experience: Dr. Sui is incredibly thorough in her work. She takes every precaution to get the job done right the first time. Even though I am fearful of dentists, I have confidence in Dr. Sui and Dr. Gao. They are friendly and excellent dentists. A plus is that they have a lab right there on the premises and you can get a crown done in one appointment. They also do implants on site! Highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: My dental work was excellent. Being hearing impaired. Not many businesses. Cater to the hearing impaired. Because you can not see our impairment. They used a tablet to communicate. Whenever they had to wear a mask and I could not read lips. I was properly numed. The procedure was fast effective and professionally handled. It's now 7 hours after. The numbness is gone. With no pain at all. You guys did a great job. Now I have been to the dentist 2 days in a row. With the same impressive results. I would give them a 6 rating if I could. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found H&M family dentistry. They’re amazing with my kids. I also got my wisdom tooth pulled out with them and I felt no pain at all while they numbed me and pulled the teeth out. I highly recommend them for teeth cleanings and wisdom tooth removal.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate everyone at H&M Dentistry. I love this practice. They are my usual dentist and I always have a great experience. And here’s another example of how great they are… Recently, I had some major pain and went to an emergency dentist on the weekend who found nothing. My pain kept increasing and so I went to H&M. When Dr. Sui examined me, she diagnosed my issue promptly and referred me to an oral surgeon and expressed an urgency for my significant problem all while being very kind and concerned. I am so grateful for Dr. Sui. I am always treated with respect at my visits. Amy the hygienist is always wonderful as well. She is so warm and kind. Thanks to everyone!

Negative experience: H & M Family Dentistry is the Worse Dentistry which i have seen in my life and I don't recommend to anyone. 1. The doctor don't explain what he is doing before procedure without the permission of patient filling the tooth and even the doctor is not filling he just put pain killer and the rest of them is doing the nurse , who is taking x ray and filling and cleaning the teeth , they filled my teeth and it is two weak that it has pain, going there is losing health........

Fantastic experience: Always great. My family has been coming here for over 5 years. When we moved to Denver we looked at several dentist practices and although this was farther away they easily the most professional and thorough with the kids and my wife and I. We moved to the suburbs but still make the drive because it’s worth it! All above still true. Update 11/22/25: I had sever pain in my back molar. I called last week before business hours of 8am expecting to leave a voicemail and Dr. Gau happened to answer and he fit me in that same afternoon. After Xrays I was given my options of a root canal because of an infection from a crown that was 15+ years old (not done here) or tooth extraction, no pressure. I gave it a day and made my decision calling first thing again the next morning. The problem was solved and it was not easy but great care was given providing options, not steering me either way and the procedure I chose was done and it was not easy but solved the problem. I am compelled to write this review because this has not been the case with other dental practices on many different levels.

They all (including the front desk people) made me feel so comfortable. I was specifically anxious about getting a wisdom tooth removed, and having a root canal done but I was shocked at how fast they got the wisdom tooth out and how painless both of the procedures were for me. We got all the procedures done within a month. I felt instant relief every time I left an appointment. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Dr.Gao really knows his stuff. The dentists and assistants here are so sweet and a real blessing. I'm so grateful, and I already have family members wanting to come here. Negative experience: I canceled this appointment due to them not accepting insurance for what I needed. I gave 2 stars because Sergio was a man of his word and contacted me before my appointment to let me know about the insurance.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Gao is very efficient and professional. I did a partial crown and some fillings in two appointments, and have been happy with the results so far.

Fantastic experience: Clean and nice working place, just a little small. The front desk lady is kindly. Doctor Gao has great dental skills, with his fingers he can find my teeth problems.

Negative experience: First off, I wasn’t numbed properly during a root canal. I paid for laughing gas and the machine was on zero and had absolutely no effect on me due to being empty. I still paid for it though. Lastly, I went through a Root Canal and a crown only to lose the entire tooth not even a month later. Now I currently have a hole in my gums where I just endured a surgery that was supposed to prevent this. Also, I needed more work done so They proceeded to bill Medicaid while Medicaid responded, asking for verification of why the surgery needed to be done. But they left Medicaid on responded to which then resulted in a denial from Medicaid.

Fantastic experience: I am normally very anxious during dentist visits but this staff's empathy and expertise put me at ease. You won’t regret receiving treatment from this office.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've ever visited! Amy is very fun, sweet, and informative. I'm actually very excited for the long road ahead on my dental work because I know I am in the BEST hands. The receptionist is always a joy to chat with and cares a lot for everyone who walks in. Everyone here is very attentive to taking care of your teeth on any budget. Medicaid accepted. But even if you're paying out of pocket; they will work with you and the teeth really do come first for everyone here. I don't think you could find a better dentist if you tried. :))

Negative experience: This is second time my youngest son has been in to H&M. The first time was supposed to be for a cleaning before going to the periodontist. H&M knew this but still didn't do the cleaning. The hygienist was clueless as to how to do the x-rays so it took nearly an hour. They finally had another employee come in to help out. Then Dr Sui was too busy tut tutting and making comments about what a shame it was the my son had ruined his teeth when he had braces to do a proper cleaning. They admit they just did a quick polish and called it good. She also made apoint of poking repeatedly at the still healing gum graft on his lower gums. Even after i told her what had been done and it was still healing, she continued to poke and prod it causing significant pain. She also disparaged the periodontist's work saying it wasn't good enough. I explained there was a second procedure yet to be done to finish the repairs. She didn't seem to give that any credence. She prescribed a special toothpaste which cost $32 and then wanted to a re-check in 2 weeks. My son used that toothpaste for about 4 days and then it started making his teeth hurt. Due to the holidays, his re-check appointment had to be re-scheduled to early January. When we 4showed up for the re-check appointment, Dr Sui told us she was going to "fix" the damage done to the enamel on his teeth. Despite the fact that my son is 18, she kept asking me where to start and how fancy of a treatment I wanted. Then tried to get him to sign saying HE would pay for it! It was over $400 (after insurance) for this appointment that was just supposed to be a re-check. She said they would do it in quadrants but ended up doing half of his mouth at a time..... working on 7 teeth! We were there almost 2 hours! She caused him significant pain while injecting the novacaine as well. He was moaning and groaning in pain - which is unusual for this kid. The male dentist at this practice is wonderful. The female one - not so much. She was so mean and nasty and judgmental with my oldest son on a previous occasion, that he is now refusing to ever go to a dentist again. I don't want her to touch any of my children (or me) again. My youngest is supposed to go back in mid February for another session like today but I don't want her to have anything to do with it.

When the Dr start drilling my tooth, i asked her what she is doing, she said, "since you need a root canal for one of your tooth, I'm preparing it for your next vists." Without my permission she drilled my tooth and left it open

Negative experience: I went there for many years, but the last visit, Dr. Gao performed a very painful procedure with lots of bleeding in the gum without major gum issue. He intentionally left the cord in and put the temp crown on, and then took the cord off afterwards and cause me on antibiotic for a week due to gum swallowing.

They are very experienced but still they are willing to address to patients concerns with reasonable solutions. Fantastic experience: Just go here. I really didn't know what to expect. But people were raving about them so I went there. From the time I arrived everyone was smiling & genuinely happy. It's not just about the money. They are sincerely interested in you as a human being. Besides the mind-blowing top notch technology and superb private layout, the atmosphere in the surgery is calming, there is gentle music playing and I am just totally blown away by their standard of hygiene and professionalism. My thanks to Dr Goa, Dr. Sui, Amy, Sara, all the other dental assistants and of course the ladies (Sue and Lisa) at reception. 10 stars! I wish i could give them more, honestly.

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist retired, and in looking for a new one closer to home and who accepted my insurance I found Dr. Gao and his wife partner and staff. We recently completed some extensive work to get me through the next decade of old age and the whole experience was excellent. Every member of the staff who has helped me is exceptional in customer service and patient needs. So happy to have found the practice.

Negative experience: I got a filling here 2 months ago. I had no previous pain in the tooth that had a "cavity". My tooth started hurting horribly 2 months after the filling so I went to get the filling checked. I was told I would not be charged for anything without someone telling me how much it would cost. The doctor looked at my tooth and said the filling is fine and gave me a referral to another dentist. I was charged $107!! I know something is wrong with the filling but they don't want to take responsibility and fix it and on top of it lied about how much the visit would cost. I wont' be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I went in here thinking I was buying a shirt at H&M but boy was I confused when I ended up getting a filling done. The fill was great. The margins were sealed, contacts contoured, occlusion adjusted. I hardly noticed the color bc they shade matched so well. I would go here

Fantastic experience: My visit on April 25th was intended to be only for cleaning . However, my visit was extended to include a minor chipped tooth repair and the application of a fluoride varnish protective coating; all accomplished in about an hour. Staff members were very kind, courteous and informative; explaining each step in the process of caring for my teeth and I didn’t experience any significant discomfort. I’m a very satisfied patient and will return to H & M Family Dentistry for future check-ups and excellent dental care.

Negative experience: I had my teeth treated here in July 2021. It took me four months to implant two upper left molar teeth. The price was ridiculously expensive, nearly $6000. Use less than 2 months, tooth pain unbearable! Go to the diagnosis again and just take it out. It took six months, almost six thousand dollars, and I didn't get any money back, and that's what I did with my teeth here.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to H & M family dentistry since I lived in Aurora 7 years ago. I moved to Colorado Springs, and I still drive an hour for dentist appointments because this office is top-notch! The dental care I have received here over the years is unmatched. I have tried a few dentists in the springs on others recommendations, and unfortunately, everything they did had to be fixed. I brought my son here for the first time this week. They showed me two cavities that my son’s pediatric dentist missed. I don’t trust anyone else with our smiles. If you want perfect work, go to H &M Family Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient since 2016 and I have had a lot of work done due to medications/liver transplant and this is the only place I want to go. They accept Medicaid and Medicare too. I have my child go hear as well. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone including your children. They have been excellent. I have had crowns and root canals (4), laser surgery and a bone graft (cavities too plus some chips fixed) done by them. I had no idea it could be done all at once and in the same office until I started going to them. They have the most advanced state of the art 3d printing machine that makes your crowns 100% custom fitting. They don't use metal like with the older crowns. There are a lot of dentists that still use this method which also prevents you from being able to Xray it in the future. They have the technology to actually map your mouth exactly and custom print your tooth in office so you can get a root canal and crown all done at once and only have to be numb once. They can do crown lengthening, tissue regeneration, bone grafts, implants, laser surgery, same day crowns, root canals, cavities and I know they also do some type of veneers as well as other procedures. I don't think there is anything they don't do in office. 5 stars from me and my family. They will be doing all of our work in the future. Fantastic experience: everyone there was friendly and very attentive. they also accepted my medicaid insurance which was life saving. i went in for an exam and ended up getting a tooth extracted. i was extremely anxious but he reassured me i would be okay and walked me through every step so i was not caught off guard. this is my go to dentist office now. i highly recommend.

Positive experience: I love Amy, the hygienist! She is so sweet and gentle, and she remembers everything about everyone. She's the reason I keep going back. She is a treasure. I'm not as fond of Dr. Gao - I think that's who I see? He's never actually told me his name. He's not actually very nice, and is pretty gruff and judgmental. They used to have really wonderful front office staff who knew me, but they seemed to have disappeared. Now I don't know the people they have up front. But I've been going here for a while and I love Amy.

Negative experience: My wife got a teeth refilling today. During the process the nurse injured her inner mouth by pulling a dry cotton without Wetting it. My wife asked the dentist later to question the nurse procedure. The male dentist for sure that was a wrong procedure. However he would not do anything further even a painkiller pill. It is totally unacceptable to us. Think about that If you go do a teeth refilling but they injure other area of you you mouth no even say a sorry!

Fantastic experience: They are amazing here! Fast and precise. All around a great experience. Used to be nervous about the dentist but they have made it comfortable and easy to come in.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to H & M family dentistry for many years now and I wouldn’t trust another dentist to work on my teeth. Dr. Gao is very knowledgeable and professional. Amy the hygienist is very sweet and friendly and gentle. I never have to wait when I come for an appointment and I always know I will get the best care. Highly recommend!
