Fantastic experience: My son and I were at the park yesterday when he fell and hit his mouth very hard. Dr Whitney worked us into her busy day to take an x ray to make sure his tooth roots weren’t affected. The relief she gave me in a stressful time was so appreciated. Her staff was very kind, the place is beautiful and very kid friendly. Can’t speak highly enough. She will have my child as a client for as long as he is allowed to go there. 11/10 experience.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome and at ease. They saw both my 2 and 4 year old at the same time, which was incredibly helpful. They spoke to my kids with such kindness and patience. The team truly knows how to work with little ones. My kids felt safe, listened to, and even excited about the visit (which says a lot for a dental appointment). I left feeling relieved, grateful, and confident that we’ve found their forever dentist. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a gentle, professional, and genuinely caring dental practice for their children.

Negative experience: Lied to us. She said she had the equipment to do it in new Orleans, she never showed and was a completely new dentist she sent us to. The new Orleans dentist didn't understand why we where sent there instead of some place in Lafayette.

Fantastic experience: The BEST dentist and office staff EVER! Dr Whitney is the sweetest soul! She is so fun and patient with the kiddos! Also very reassuring to a mommas worry when needed! We had a big tooth scare during COVID and she went above and beyond to make sure we were okay! Seriously, the dentist office is Disney world to my kids, they LOVE it!

Negative experience: Dr. Whitney and staff is so wonderful, helpful, and respectful ! Where do I begin- my child went for a consultation and it was a great experience. the staff is very professional and accommodating making sure your questions and exams are answered promptly. It was a big relief for me that my child got his X-ray on his teeth and everything was fine. Dr. Whitney is an absolute joy. She is upbeat, very knowledgeable, and breaks everything down to my knowledge . I am highly impressed all around with the visit.. 10/10 I will highly recommend to anyone in need of a pedi dentist for their kids. :) 3 month Update: I intend to not bash the company but to sunshine light on the front desk (receptionist) for being so rude: I thought the message was for a recheck for my son’s teeth. As a mom I went and for common courtesy I always arrive 30-20 mins early. I ask to check in and the lady stated it’s no appt. and the doctor is out for surgery. I replied : I can’t be in disbelief because I drove 1hour and 35mins for this appointment. For the lady in the back with blue eyes to approach the front with an immediate attitude, and state to me that the message was intended for the primary doctor not this office disappointed me because clearly this is Acadiana Pediatric Dentistry. The communication skills are poor because I really wished someone at the office would have notified me of the change of schedule.

Negative experience: Not kid friendly, can't bring siblings to appointments... What are people supposed to do when they have no one else to watch their other kids?? And wouldn't even let me reschedule even though I showed up to my appointment with all my kids because I forgot because they only told me ONE time over the phone.. not a reminding text or anything about it.

Fantastic experience: First time ever at the office and I tell you the service was A+ From the moment I walked it the atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful. Such a beautiful office inside. The staff is amazing there from the front desk to the staff working in the back they were so sweet and kindhearted. The dentist explained everything the assistant was wonderful and she explained everything as well. I would most definitely recommend. My child was at ease while there.

Fantastic experience: They have the best kids’ waiting room I have ever seen. There are books, iPad/computer play, blocks, and a cool seating area. I think if I had this to look forward to growing up, I would not have hated the dentist. It was also super clever of them to fix TVs to the ceiling, so that the kids could watch a movie while getting their teeth checked. It helps with anxiety and an overall better experience. The staff were really nice, professional, and warm. The dentist was clearly knowledgeable and I felt that my child was in great hands. I would recommend this place to anyone.
