Fantastic experience: Dr. Ashraf is a dentist that’s actually worth driving 2 hours to see for care. All the hygienist’s and dental assistants are great as well. The hygienist I saw today was especially awesome. Really kind and knowledgeable! The front desk staff are amazing, too!

Fantastic experience: State of the art tools! Virtually painless. The doc is good and quick. His hygienist is also super friendly! I've never had to go back in because something was wrong. Prices are fair for what you get. The office is always clean. Parking is easy. Definitely recommend!!!

Negative experience: They take insurance through the state but "now new patients" with that insurance. I'm sorry, what does that even mean, she just kept repeating the same three lines like a robot, we don't take new patients with that insurance, we take that insurance but now new patients, I'm sorry we don't take that insurance with new patients " this place is a joke. You're supposed to be a low income dentist in the area, my insurance company gave me the number, but since the area doesn't want low income people to live here in st cloud they do little things like this to make life more difficult up here.

Fantastic experience: Front desk receptionist with the tattoos and dark hair was wonderful to talk to and extremely nice. The dentist was very nice and he took time to answer my questions. The dental assistant was very nice and answered all my questions and concerns! This is the best dental practice I’ve ever been too and their attentions to my issues was very professional and very much appreciated.

The receptionists are very helpful and are experts at dealing with your dental insurance and putting together estimates. The dental hygienists do a thorough job at cleaning my teeth and are very friendly. Dr. Wasef is a highly experienced and capable dentist. He’s really quick at completing his procedures. I like how he and his assistant explain what they are doing as well as offer advice to help you with your dental care. I highly recommend Dr. Wasef and the Smile City Dental staff to others!

Very reasonable prices, especially if you don't have dental insurance or are under insured. They take all cards, including care credit. The doctor does such good work!! Ive never had to go back for him to fix something he did.

Dr. Wasef always has my best interests in mind, offering me better options and possibilities that work well with my insurance. Both he and his staff are gentle and treat you like a person (not just a patient), attending to your needs. Even when they’re extra busy. If you have a fear of dentists, he helps you through that. If you want a better smile but can’t afford it, he helps you through that. I recommend Smile City to all my friends and family. (I’m 58, and those are my real teeth in the pic)

The lady that cleans your teeth is a little rough with the pick tools. That is the reason for the 4 stars otherwise it would be five stars .

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time very rude I called for an appointment and was told I should call another dentist for an appointment never experienced that very weird and rude new to this city and everyone else has been nice so I was taken aback

Negative experience: SHE...(THE ONE THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE...made it clear that they are not taking anyone with THAT INSURANCE..and I said Poor people INSURANCE and she said Yessssssss uh huh.....wow the nerve..it's so unfortunate of how we are treated in this world. I would never want to be anywhere near this place. So disgraceful.SO PRIVILEGED...GOD BLESS THEM Should be called Privileged City!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience I could have coming to a dentist. I’m pretty nervous getting dental work done but these guys are the best! They saved me money from what aspen dental was trying to charge me and the work they did is much better. I feel like they are honest and really wanna help. Staff was very friendly too. Negative experience: Dr. Ashraf is an amazing doctor. His hands are magic. Tries his best to make its painless. The nurses are great. They make sure you are as comfortable as it can be during the procedure. The receptionists are the best. She made sure when an appointment freed up to inform me of that and called the day before to remind me of the appointment. Edit: As i said in my earlier review staff are amazing but after i got my left side done, the pain was worse than when i first came to the doctor and the first time i called they said wait for a couple of weeks for the fillings to set. Then i called after a couple of months since my teeth were and still are hurting if i eat something a little hard, they said that my fillings were deep and thats why they still hurt. If i wanted to get them fixed again i can either come back and have them checked out more $$$ or get the nerves removed which will require more $$$. I wish i never got my teeth done. Edit 2: I went to a new dental office and i had my teeth looked at by another doctor. He took a picture of the my teeth and specifically the area were the fillings that were made at your clinic and he said they were not deep enough to touch the vein nor that i need fillings in 12-18 of my teeth as indicated by Smile city dental. Its great that i didnt get all the teeth that were recommended done by SMD because i wouldve paid more money for no reason.

That dentist stop seeing my kids and it was a nightmare for two years to find a dentist to take the kids. This dentist took the kids no questions and in time of emergency got my son in the same day of issue.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to smile city since they were at the old location by the post office. Dr, Wasef is and has always been very caring about my teeth health. When I was younger I had cavities all the time and he would have to fix them for me but I had my last root canal when I was 18 years old and it was a very small cavity and only took about 10 minutes to take care of but he told me I needed to change the way I treat my teeth and I did just that, now I haven’t had any cavity for two years! Him and his team have showed so much dedication and commitment to me for my teeth health. To the point where I am now going to school to become a dental hygienist! I want to be just like his team and teach and show people about teeth health! I have teeth erosion and I didn’t know anything about it but my dentist has taught me everything I need to know and how to take care of my teeth with my brushing of the fluoride toothpaste, and making sure to use my water pick! I haven’t had any cracks or break off in my teeth and I truly believe it’s because the way he taught me to take care of them! I can’t wait till I get to make a patient feel exactly how I feel about smile city! Best dentistry ever!

Well; I'm fortunate enough to experience this after leaving Smile City. Lisa was delicate with my deep cleaning. She is kind, thoughtful, patient and helpful. I'm grateful for her!! I previously had a Chip and a gap in my front teeth, and Dr. Wassef and his team were able to take care of them in two visits. My previous experience with dentists has NEVER been positive before. So to look forward to my next appointment is quite a feat. It’s well worth the commute from the cities and I’ve been recommending them to everyone I know!

Negative experience: ****Edit since they want to TRY to justify. 9 members of our family have gone here and it is a LONG history of unnecessary extractions. We have had 2 children referred out for BETTER care because they traumatized the children and could not work on them. They even called and begged us to come back saying the referral out was only for the 1 procedure after we permanently switched to the new dentist. Two different people asked his medication today and were told we didn't have the exact name on hand but could bring it for next visit since today was literally ONLY a cleaning with a hygienist and NOT anything with a dentist. Only to be told we couldn't be seen without the name of his over the counter med for a HEADACHE. Yet again they called to REMOVE his tooth when his orthodontist examined it and determined it only needed a small filling. This is the absolute worst place. Unfortunately insurance forces us to go. They pull teeth others say can be filled. Don't listen to patients in pain while drilling or cleaning. SUPER RUDE at front desk. Threatened to kick us out for not knowing exact name of a medication taken over counter a week ago. Go ANYWHERE else if possible. We switched to driving an hour to go somewhere else when this one is less than 10 mins away.

Negative experience: I went in for a new patient/ needed a cleaning and was told I have 9!!!! Cavities, but don’t worry, it’s 100% covered with your insurance to fill them! When I questioned this and said I’m not going to schedule an appointment until I get a second opinion because 9 cavities is insane! I might have 1 every 2 two years. Then I was mailed a letter saying sorry I can’t come back because I questioned the dentist. DO NOT TRUST this dentist!! That is a BIG RED FLAG!

They do a fabulous job each time, they have the latest equipment, and they're pleasant to be around. It's always pain free too. I highly recommend Smile City. They're in a great location.
