I came to them almost 2 years ago, after terrible experiences at other dentist and each and every appointment at Lignum with them has been GREAT! I came in knowing I needed a lot of dental work, which can be overwhelming, but Dr. Anderson and the entire staff immediately put me at ease. Dr. Anderson is not only highly skilled, but also incredibly patient and thorough. He took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure I understood what needed to be done and why. That level of transparency made a huge difference, especially given how much work I needed. The staff deserves just as much praise—they are friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. From scheduling to follow-ups, and assisting, everything was handled smoothly, and I always felt like a priority rather than just another appointment. Negative experience: Facility is very nice, clean and modern… the reception was fair.. the dental assistant fair as well but was not engaging.. collectively the dentist and dental assistant only said a few of sentences to me… never asked if i was okay (in pain or comfortable) during the 1 hr plus root canal… today my mouth is extremely sore and unable to eat… I was referred by the VA and Im not sure if I would come back

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth while eating some cookies. Dr. Anderson got me in right away. I had to have a root canal. Ouch right? Nope! Dr. Anderson made my procedure quick, easy and most importantly, painless. I’ve had root canals in the past and had to go to a different doctor because most doctors do not perform root canals in the office. Dr. Anderson isn’t most doctors! Thanks for saving the day before my vacation starts! If you are looking for a new dentist that actually cares about your smile, I recommend Lignum Dental!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Andre Anderson & Dr. Raven Anderson and staff are excellent! He knows how to keep you pain free & is very knowledgable in the latest techniques. Im on my 4th implant procedure with bone & tissue graft! It was done yesterday & im already healing nicely!Ive never been overcharged or felt taken advantage of( like i DID at places like ASPEN DENTAL). I also do not have dental insurance that being said Lignum Dental is very affordable!

Negative experience: If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. When I called to get an appointment I was stern on just wanting it extracted and they assured me they could do it. I hate the dentist and would rather be in pain but the lady on the phone assured me they would get me taken care of. When I walked in the receptionist was nice but immediately when the dental assistant came to get me she was not welcoming at all. I told her I just wanted them removed nothing else. She took ex rays and went to get the dentist. While waiting the first thing I hear the dentist say is root canal. Dr Andre came into the room and ask me what I wanted done and I said I wanted them removed because they hurt. He laughed/smiled in my face looked to his assistant and then at me and said so u want no teeth then proceeded to say he wouldn’t pull them he could refer me.

Fantastic experience: I was conveniently able to get a same day consultation for a tooth that was broken that was causing me a-lot of pain. I ended up needing a root canal that they were able to get me in the next day for. I was very pleased with how everything went. Dr. Anderson was informative and straight to the point. Each time i was there i was taken care of quickly and never had to wait long. Would definitely recommend if you are in the La vergne/Smyrna area!

Fantastic experience: (Update 2/19/24-yesterday I had a tooth broken to the gum, it was crucial to save for my sanity because I've lost much due to breast cancer. Dr. Andre did a root canal, post & crown, cleared any infection in a timely manner and restored my tooth & mental health in one visit! :) so grateful to have found a caring dentist that hears & listens to my needs patiently) I've had 2-3 appointments - Dec 3023 & March 2024 and have to say, this is the best dentist I've been to in years. Nice, fresh, clean, welcoming environment. Dr. Anderson & his staff are amazing which is helpful when you have to get a lot of work done. You need a calm, peaceful environment & someone knowledgeable & patient to listen to & address your needs. I rec'd the best care. The assistants Leslie & Braya are so Wonderful, attentive, genuine & worked well with the doctor. I felt comfortable each visit, as if I made a new dentist family(that I wanna keep to myself) Janie at the reception was on point with a cheerful disposition & smiling. They were/ are thorough and worked well as a team. It took me a long time to find a good dentist esp having teeth issues after breast cancer which is frustrating enough, so finding an office like this is Golden! I'm actually looking forward to my next visits! Good vibes.

Fantastic experience: Nice upbeat facility receptionist was awesome talking to her on my pass driving experiences while she answered phone, Raven was awesome dentist after the second shot last root canal I had took 4 hours to complete he did it in an hours visit , I posted the dentist office on my face book page aswell Dan gerster no more pain except for the needles to numb the jaw I get a metal stool 30inch high for tall people easier to get up an go on adventure

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency visit today 4/17/24. From the front to the back office everyone was so friendly and professional. I have an appointment tomorrow 4/18/24 and I have no anxiety. Usually a visit to the dentist would have me all over the place but not this tome

Negative experience: Its a good dental place, but they make your appointments for you before asking about your availability, and when i try to call and cancel they never answer the phone. I tried calling multiple times but no answer so I just gave up with the clinic.

Fantastic experience: Tuesday November 7th I had shooting pain through the side of my face from a cavity in my wisdom tooth. I set up an appointment for an exam and xrays Wednesday morning, and by Thursday morning had my procedure done. Lignum dental were very helpful in explaining what was required of me before the procedure and telling me the cost of everything. The dentist was incredible and I barely felt any pain or discomfort. I will definitely come back for my other wisdom teeth in the future and I recommend anyone nervous about going to the dentist to give them a try.

Fantastic experience: I had part of a back tooth to break off on July 4th. My regular dentist was on vacation so I was able to contact Lignum Dental and they were able to work me in within a couple of hours. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Anderson and the entire staff. They were very professional and courteous and they just earned themselves another customer.

Fantastic experience: Right from scheduling an appointment to the visitation proper, everyone was professional. I was treated with so much care, compassion and respect. My case was treated like an emergency and I was given a priority appointment because of the state in which I was. Dr Anderson was so cool, funny. I usually get anxious when visiting the dentist but this time around, I had the best experience and didn't even realize I was in a dentistry all thanks to Dr Anderson. I had a tooth extraction and didn't even know when the tooth was extracted. I had Zero pain during the process and the Doctor's professionalism and expertise was top notch. I will recommend Lignum Dental any day, anytime for dental work. I'll be vising them again for further treatment options. Lignum Dental is definitely my final bus stop. Go give it a try and you won't regret you did.

Negative experience: The worst place, do not to take your kids here for dental check-ups. They are trying to do whatever they want without notifying the Guardians.
