Fantastic experience: Belle Meade Dentistry‘s staff is skilled, professional, and friendly. I was especially impressed by James Pace Jr. DDS, who, after inspecting my teeth and gums thoroughly, told me I didn’t need any dental work (after being told by a different dentist I needed $4,000 of dental work!). The dentists here are honest and do not upsell. My hygienist today was also excellent. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: The cavatron was very painful. I asked the technician if she could use the "old style" equipment and was completely ignored. Having the Xray machine that went around the head was quite disconcerting, I kept being told to step forward, when she got me to where she wanted me, I could barely keep from falling backwards. The whole visit was less than I could have desired

Negative experience: Normal cleaning and an extraction of a molar. The extraction was terrible. Lots of expected pressure to remove it but ultimately, the dr could not complete the process. I was sent straight to an oral surgeon with my mouth still bleeding. Completing the job ended up costing more with an oral surgeon and resulted in more trauma to the affected area. Usually very pleased with my experience at this office but this particular one was definitely a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time to visit BMFD. The office staff was very friendly, courteous, and caring! The appointment started on time and Dr. Pace Jr. did a very thorough evaluation. He proposed a great plan to correct issues utilizing my insurance. I noticed access to their office was very good. There is an ground level as well as a lower parking area with flat access to an elevator for those with mobility issues.

Positive experience: From a technical stand point the care and skill is amazing. From a front desk stand point it’s a bit awkward. I have never been to a dentist that can’t work a financial plan for deductible dues.. felt a bit Moriah and they needed there money ASAP as a father of 3 some flexibility would help. May need to cancel a couple future appointments due to lack of flexibility.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency just a few days before the end of the year. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a place that would be able to see me because I wanted to use my benefits before they expired on the 31st. I called Belle Meade Family Dentistry and the receptionist added me to the schedule the very next day. After I arrived to my appointment and saw the dentist, I was quoted a much higher out of pocket price than I anticipated. The receptionist on duty took a closer look at my insurance benefits and figured out I was quoted the wrong price. I was able to get the work done I needed after the pricing was adjusted to the correct amount, and now I have a shiny new crown in my mouth. I appreciated the receptionist taking the time and putting forth the effort to help me with my benefits to make sure my insurance was paying as much as possible. I saw Dr. Pace Jr. and he was amazing. I had virtually zero pain throughout the entire process. As long as I live in Nashville I will be a patient at Belle Meade Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: This was my intial visit. The office was referred to me by a co-worker. The office is very clean. I did not have to wait a long time for my appointment, they had me scheduled within 2 days! When I arrived to my appointment, I was seen within 10 minutes after arriving. The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Pace and Dana were amazing! They explained everything they were doing prior to them doing it. Dr. Pace provided me with all of my treatment options. Dr. Pace and Dana bedside manners were superb! One of the best doctors by far than any of the other doctors I have seen in the past! I would highly recommend this office!
