Fantastic experience: The reception ladies are wonderful, competent, cheery and welcoming. My hygienist was new to me. She was excellent: precise, thorough, communicative, but most of all, was consistently attentive to any pain or discomfort I might be feeling. When I jerked slightly in a sensitive area, she used a gel to ease the cleaning there. It was very helpful. I appreciated her sensitivity to my discomfort. Turns out I need some extra work done. I feel very confident and comfortable with Dr Yun’s expertise to have it done by her.

Negative experience: This establishment was so unprofessional. I spoke to the manager Liz because I had concerns about how I had been hung up on multiple times by the same person and how they never attempted to call me back. I feel like the communication was bad and when I expressed these concerns to Liz she told me “I’m sorry but the phone works both ways.” When you are a business and you accidentally hang up on your client, I believe it’s YOUR job to try to contact them back. Just wrong. Changing dentist.

I feel genuinely looked after here and would recommend them to anyone, especially nervous patients.

Each one was frustrating and honestly made us angry… until we came to Lee Dental Center on Patbooker Road, in Universal City, TX. Everyone there are very nice and caring. They have made me feel so comfortable that I don’t need my husband to come and hold my hand when I get my teeth cleaned. I highly recommend them. I told my best friend and now she goes there and loves them as much as I do. I have another friend that goes there and she feels the same way as I do. They also explain everything and will send in for approval before they do anything. They have truly been amazing and a blessing.

Negative experience: The staff is very sweet, but if you have white coat syndrome and your blood pressure spikes when you see a doctor do not go here they will deny you care. Sucks I have been going for 3 years but all of a sudden now my blood pressure is an issue even though Ive had this since I was a child and can’t control it. I am really disappointed in the clinic.

Update 9/14/2023 Just had teeth cleaned again, and had the same tech as last time, and I am still so happy I found this place. Everyone was great all the way around as well again. Lee Dental Center in Universal City is great from the check-in, all the way through everything. They make sure you feel comfortable through the whole process. So much better than my last place. Have had a cleaning, some cavities and a crown done and all excellent. On this latest visit I loved my new cleaning tech.

Negative experience: I've waited 6 mos to post a review about Sue Yun, DDS because I don't like to do things like this, but her complete lack of professionalism and care for her patients should not be ignored. I went to her, as a first time patient, with a VERY bad cavity that was causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. I also have a broken tooth from a prior root canal that doesn't give me any trouble. I'd like to fix it one day but that was obviously the least of my worries. She came into the room and said she was going to start by scheduling me an appointment so she could fix the broken tooth. I told her I was in a lot of pain and needed the cavity cared for. She disagreed and said she needed to fix the broken tooth. I told her it was a dead tooth and I planned to take care of it later down the line and I didn't want to end up in worse pain by the cavity being ignored. She got flustered and said she'd do it by scheduling both treatments at once, making the appointment multiple hours long. I left and never went back. A few days later I visited 7 to 7 Dental in which the dentist told me that if the cavity had been left just a little longer, I would have needed a root canal and that the dead broken tooth had no medically necessary reason to be fixed, only cosmetic reasons. Negative experience: Although I must admit that this clinic has friendly staff, I'm curious about how their fees are determined in comparison to those of other dental offices. After years, I made the decision to move to Lee Dental for my primary care, but it was shocking to learn that I would have to spend about $1500 out of pocket for a cleaning. They wanted to charge my insurance almost $5,000. I've never had an insurance bill for that amount, according to my most recent claim at another dental office it was only $137, which was filed on May 5, 2023, and the claims I’ve had the years before that. I also complained of jaw pain that might be comeing from my teeth, but no medication was recommended/prescribed; all that mattered to them was how I was going to pay for my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I, unfortunately, have always had issues with my teeth. I have gone to15 different dentists over the past 40 years. No one can even holds a candle to Dr Yun. She is the best!!! He said he'd give me a call back 'in about 5 minutes' once he could find one. It's been 45 minutes and no call back. Going elsewhere.
