Fantastic experience: Out of all the dentist's I have known in my lifetime this practice never disappoints . The staff from the bottom to the top exceeds my expectations every time. I've been blessed to have found them.

Negative experience: I missed my appointment due to a hospital addmission. Was in the ER for 10 hours before admited. I called a couple days later. The lady at the desk was rude and mean and charged me a no show fee. Then had the nerve to say she didn't like me. I told her "No problem I'll find another dentist" They do good work but had problems with the lady at the front desk.

Negative experience: We have been going here for over 10 years. It is more like an assembly line. In and out. We have to wait usuallly 30 minutes upon arrival and when the kids go in, it is a rush job. We waited an additional 30 minutes when we arrived for our appointment and they were finished in 15 minutes. I was told it was because my son has good oral hygiene?'! Even with good oral hygiene, no X-rays and a fluoride treatment it should take a minimum of 30 minutes. They shouldn't be able to bill out legally for a 15 minute appointment. Sad to say we will be finding a new dentist.

Positive experience: There is no follow-up after the cleaning. They don’t explain how the x-rays turned out or how your child’s teeth are progressing. If you don’t ask, they don’t provide any information about the condition of your child’s teeth, how many are still left to fall out, or whether any additional procedures are needed.

Negative experience: I was disappointed today at my daughter’s dental appointment as we had to wait 30 minutes for them to be seen. We arrived 15 prior to their 4pm appointment, because I was told to by the office to arrive early, so in total we waited 45 minutes before they were seen. The lady at the desk was rude to us and did not apologize for the wait when I asked if they were running behind. We have been going to this office for 15 years, so it is upsetting to be treated without consideration. I would have been more understanding if the lady at the front desk had apologized.

Our son with autism has had a very hard time at the dentist and with the help from his doctor and the kind and patient staff and Dentist, Dr Beron, by he did it! He got the best cleaning yet AND now we know exactly what we need to help him come back in a few months! Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit at West Chicago Dental Care, and wow—what a game-changer. Staff are super chill and made me feel right at home. Got a cleaning and a filling done for about $180 total, and they were quick, gentle, and explained everything without the usual dental mumbo jumbo. The vibe in the office is clean and welcoming—felt more like a friendly neighborhood spot than a sterile clinic. If you're in the West suburbs and need dental work without the hassle, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We recently started going to West Chicago dental. The pediatric dentist is such a warm and loving person. My son had anxiety prior to this dentist. She is just so kid friendly. Negative experience: My son is 16 and autistic. If you have older kids on the spectrum I do not recommend going here. For younger kids I think they do a good job. But our experience here in attempting to get a cavity filled for our son was less than ideal. I won't give details as to what transpired but it was apparent they just didn't have the expertise necessary for special needs kids.

Positive experience: The staff here is pleasant and helpful but the wait time for a procedure is ridiculous. My son had a dentist appointment for a filling and had to wait over an hour to be called in. It is very disappointing and frustrating because he had to be taken out of school for this just to sit and wait.

Positive experience: The receptionist is terrible, I'm sick that is why I didn't go with my daughter so my son who is 18 went with her and my daughter feeling sad because the receptionist yelled at her telling her that they can't take her without her mom saying she can go in and also yelled at her telling her she can't make an appointment without someone even though my son was right behind her and once she saw him she stopped yelling and the only reason I sent her with my son was cause I didn't want to cancel the appointment I went to this office for many years and this is the first year that I have ever received this kind of treatment and I've known the doctor for many many years and she is truly kind and gives us the best service it was just the receptionist who treated my daughter like this.

She listens to my concerns and never makes me feel like I asked a silly question. She genuinely cares about my kids and the health of their teeth. The front office is kind and very helpful. Positive experience: Dr. Beron is fabulous! My son has sensory processing disorder and autism and she makes it so fun for him to be there. She knows how long kids can last before they start to squirm so she is quick to do her job and Is great at what she does. She is a very warm hearted person, and talks to the parents like she’s talking to a friend or family member, but somehow manages to stay completely professional. I love her, I’m so glad we found her. The office is exceptionally clean and kept up, the staff are lovely. My family is slowly transitioning into the office. The one con I see is that scheduling is very far out. My husband stopped by the office to make an appointment for a chipped tooth that happened yesterday, and they couldn’t schedule him before mid December. Perhaps they need to take on another dentist? On the other hand, it speaks to their quality of care UPDATE 2023: it truly pains me to have to write this, but I think one should be honest when reviewing. I stand by my original statement; Dr. Beron is the best and Dr. Formal is so polite and well spoken. He has such a calm demeanor and takes the time to explain everything to you. HOWEVER. What I REALLY DISLIKE is the way I am approached by the front desk/reception area as though I am being nickled and dimed; I have NEVER encountered a clinic of any sort where they make it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR they WANT YOUR MONEY. With every call they are reminding you payment is due at time of he appointment, with every texted reminder it is the same thing. One thing I found particularly irritating is when I’d set up an appointment for my daughter several years ago and I had stated we were self pay. When I didn’t answer the reminder call, they proceeded to call my husband and to verify we were going to pay out of pocket because I had stated so and they wanted to make sure- WHY? Was my word not enough to trust? I’d certainly spoken to them enough at that point. Another instance that really left me indignant was when my husband broke his tooth and it was over the weekend and Dr. Formal was the only dentist available. My husband had terrible pain after having his tooth removed and when he went back to Dr. Fornal we found out there were fragments left in the socket. The dentist removed the fragments but then charged my husband an additional considerable fee for doing so- WHY? The dentist left the fragments in there, not my husband. I stopped taking my family to the clinic several years ago, but I missed Dr. Beron, so I decided to schedule again with them. I regretted my decision. I received calls and texts every other day from the office reminding me of the appointment and the cancellation fee. I had a family emergency (my daughter split her lip open) and I had to cancel that morning. Sure enough I received TWO CALLS that were back to back while in immediate care. They were from Diana stating that there would be a cancellation fee. I understand a fee will be charged, and I was okay with that- but the time. I was over it. It left me indignant once again, so much so that I cancelled my daughters appointments permanently. Lastly, I have to be honest, my real gripe is with the front office. it seems like Diana is the money collector in the office. Her tone is on the colder end of the spectrum and she is QUICK to remind of the fees. She sounds like she’s in it strictly for the money, NOT to take care of you and your family. It’s a big shame because I honestly REALLY like the dentists, but I don’t like feeling like myself and my kin are cash cows. It reflects poorly on the wonderful dentists that work there. Perhaps some sort of sensitivity training could be offered, because that just doesn’t sit well with a patient, it completely blocks the building of rapport. I still recommend these dentists if you don’t mind feeling nickled and dimed and as Though you are a cash cow. I do, and so I have chosen to take my family elsewhere.

Ask For My Daughters X-rays Wednesday Evening Got Nothing Called Thursday And Can’t Send It Cause She Claims Is Only One There. But Take Only 5 Minutes Or Even Less To Send Them Thru Mail. Not Well Organized Nor Apologized For Not Sending Them.
