Fantastic experience: Great dental office! I have been a patient here several times and have always been happy with my experience. Today, I had such a great experience with my dental hygienist. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and informative from start to finish. She made me feel completely safe and comfortable, with absolutely no judgment at all. I really appreciated how much time she took during the cleaning and how thoroughly she explained everything to me along the way. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants them to feel informed and confident about their dental health. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Be prepared for a rude reception at the desk and to encounter policies that were not previously communicated to you. I was late because of the bridge cleaning in Orono, and I was at the desk at 3:10 PM. I didn't receive a call to inform me that I was late. At 3:10 PM, there was no process in place for admitting another patient to the room, and neither the doctor's assistant nor the doctor who would receive him/her was in the waiting area. I was told that because I was 10 minutes late according to the policies, another patient had been put in my place, all the rooms were full, and I needed to reschedule my appointment. Then, I was taken to a closed room. I was told that if I waited in the hall for 20 minutes, I would be taken to a room. It's really unpleasant when someone says rude things to you in a closed room. Furthermore, she doesn't know that the 10-minute late rule, which I wasn't informed about, starts at the 11th minute. No patients left while I was waiting. I was taken to a room at 3:37 PM.

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of anxiety going in due to poor experiences with other providers. To say I was pleasantly surprised is a massive understatement. Everyone is so kind and patient. I am treated with dignity and respect, which is refreshing. As someone who is neurodivergent, it is wonderful to have a care team that walks you through the procedure, talks with you about your concerns, and doesn't talk down to you. I was so blown away by the professionalism and kindness.

The assistant was very thorough and it was clear that she enjoyed her work.The dentist responded to my questions--giving me an understandable explanation regarding a particular issue. My husband and I are very happy with the care we receive at Creative Dental.

Fantastic experience: From past experience, I guess I was expecting more pain with an extraction. Even the needle to initially numb the area wasn't as bad as expected. You are really good at what you do to help people through the entire process, including today's two week recheck. Everyone was very pleasant. Thank you!

The receptionist were extremely pleasant and understanding of the fact that I was tired. I didn't wait long at all and I was taken back to room to go over my needs and to see what she needed to do before the Dentist came in. They couldn't of been more detailed to meet my needs. The dentist too. Working with me and telling me what my insurance covers and what my out of pocket would be. I think I am going to like it here.

Negative experience: If I could give a negative 5-star rating, I would. I’ve been a patient at this dental practice for many years, but my most recent experience made it clear that the quality of care has completely collapsed. I went in with a broken crown on a front tooth. The dentist barely glanced at it, didn’t take an X‑ray, didn’t assess the damage, and simply told me they couldn’t help. Instead, they referred me to a specialist two hours away and told me to “keep an eye on the referral” myself. Of course, they still billed me for an oral evaluation--that never happened. Three months went by with no contact from the specialist, and I spent that entire time gluing the crown back in almost every day just to function. When I finally called the specialist directly, I learned they had been sent a two‑year‑old X‑ray of a completely different crown. I did get on a cancelation list and got in within a month. The bill for that consultation (1.5 hours, thorough oral evaluation, with many x-rays) was not much more than the bill I received from the original office. Then, unbelievably, the original office called me wanting to schedule an appointment to “go over everything” from the specialist visit. When I called back to explain how unhappy I was, and that I would not be scheduling, the staff member talked over me and told me to “let the specialist know” so they’d stop sending them information. No curiosity about what went wrong, no apology, no accountability. This used to be a reliable, caring practice. Now it feels like they’ve stopped caring altogether. I’m deeply disappointed and will be finding a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: This place saved my whole day. I had an emergency and couldnt find anybody to get me in. I was driving past when I decided to try calling one more place. Everyone was pleasant, thorough and so so very polite. 10/10 will return and will refer anyone and everyone a hundred times over. Ive never enjoyed a dentist visit but this place makes that possible.

Both Nurses and Doctors were very nice, caring and explanative about everything that was going on. Already going back in the future for a check up due to how amazing the experience was. Can’t recommend them enough and I can see why they have such a high rating, it is definitely earned and deserved!

Fantastic experience: I was sooo nervous going into my first visit as I had lost a tooth. As soon as I walked in the door the ladies at the desk were so nice and comforting..the dental hygenist was also so kind encouraging me while trying to get thru the xrays! Then I met Dr. Doan..one of the kindest Drs i have ever met! They all worked right with me and my insurance to get everything I needed to fix my tooth. Dr. Doan also gave me several options and guided me to get the best bang for my $$. Hands down THE BEST dental office around!!

Fantastic experience: The people here are what makes this place awesome. The greeter always knows my name. My hygenist always sings and hymns while cleaning my teeth it’s relaxing. Then there is bill pay….they are awesome too. Always trying to look out for the best value for my money. I will continue to use these folks for years to come.

She was understanding and empathetic, and we had a great conversation. Together, we addressed the issue and came up with a plan to move forward. After clearing up the misunderstanding with the front office, we feel heard and valued, and we’re now happy to continue with Creative Dental. The care from the dentists and hygienists is exceptional, and we feel confident in our decision to stay. We appreciate Gracie and the team for promptly addressing our concerns. Previous Review (Condensed): Our experience at Creative Dental had been wonderful until our most recent visit. The dentists and hygienists have always been thorough and kind, but the front office caused frustration. During our initial appointments, we had thorough checkups with X-rays and were told exactly what type of cleaning each of us needed. I specifically asked if our cleanings would be covered by insurance and was assured both my cleaning and my husband’s would be 100% covered. My cleaning went as expected, but after my husband’s deep cleaning with antibiotics, we were told it wasn’t fully covered, and we owed over $130. The front office claimed they didn’t know what type of cleaning he needed until the dentist started, which made no sense, since the dentist himself scheduled the procedure due to its complexity. The staff member was rude and condescending, explaining the charges in a belittling way in front of other patients, with no apology for the miscommunication. While the dental care itself is exceptional, the lack of transparency and professionalism from the front office initially made us question whether to stay.

I called to see if make a new apt they asked me if i was able to come right back in give or take travel time. Went back got it dealt with. Love new dental place. My old one ud gave to wait 7 weeks on. Not these guys. Happy happy happy.

Positive experience: This practice is really great. I went for the first time a couple of months ago for my consult then my cleaning two months later. My hygienist was very kind and gentle (best cleaning I’ve ever experienced to be honest). I was in and out in 20 minutes, no wait time either. My only hiccup is that they require an initial consult then a second appointment for a cleaning. I can understand the need for a second appointment if there are unforeseen issues, but my oral hygiene was noted to be good at my consult, and I only needed a simple cleaning. It is a bit of a hassle to have to take off work twice for a routine cleaning and then scheduled months apart between the consult and cleaning due to high volume. Otherwise, I did enjoy my visits and the staff is wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here twice in just a week and both times I’ve never had to wait they have always been on time. Most importantly they are so caring I have tmj and they were very understanding of needing to do dental work in two separate appts to accommodate this while previous dentist were not. I went in for a cleaning and I turned the whole appt upside down because I was having tooth pain that day and didn’t end up getting the cleaning because they were trying to figure out a plan of action for the painful tooth and they were not upset at all about the change of plans and added time. I felt so comfortable and heard and truly cared for. I’m so glad I switched to this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Great place! I called with an urgent tooth problem and they got me in the same day! I just moved here a couple months again so I don’t have a dentist yet so I’m glad they got me in. Once I got there everyone was very kind and friendly. I even set up a new patient appointment after my check up. Wonderful dentist and staff

Fantastic experience: Very pleased! Our first visit to establish care was great. They were able to schedule us for our preliminary exams within just a couple of days, which was a miracle in itself. The doctor and every member of staff were all very kind and very professional. The facility is clean and bright and well designed. Considering how many dental practices are not accepting new patients at all, I feel like we've gotten incredibly lucky.

Negative experience: I was disappointed that there was not a discussion about what the cost of the procedure was going to be before taking place. There was no consideration that my 19yo daughter would not be able to pay $800. I would have appreciated more transparency about costs up front.

He told me before he started numbing me up for my fillings, he was gentle, reassuring, professional, knowledgeable, & patient when I had to run to the bathroom during my procedure! Negative experience: Dentist was good but he was filling in from the Lewiston office. Seemed like there were some major staffing issues that in the end effect patient care
