I'm a new patient, all of the intake paperwork was completed before my appointment, so I didn't spend 20 minutes in the lobby filling out forms. I had an x-ray, evaluation and cleaning. The water jet tool they used was painless, and easy. She scheduled my December cleaning before I got out of the chair. You're in good hands when you visit Dr. Bishop and his team!

Fantastic experience: Having recently relocated from Chicago area, I decided it was time to find a local dentist in the area versus commuting back and forth to my Dentist that I had for several years. Based on a good friend’s recommendation, my visit to Dr. Bishop’s office today was not a disappointment! From being greeted at the reception area, to the hygienist and meeting Dr. Bishop, I truly feel that I am in good dental care. A year later and yet another visit, best Dentist I’ve ever had! Thorough and is focused on maintenance care. I have had extensive dental work over the years and Dr. Bishop truly has a commitment to address any issues that would endanger past dental work. In 2024, I continue to be amazed at the quality of service provided by Dr. Bishop. With a number of implants and bridges, a bridge came off from two implants. When seeking to have it recemmented, Dr. Bishop discovered that the middle tooth on the three tooth bridge was pressuring my gums which may have contributed to the issue. This bridge was from my previous dentist in the Chicago area. This is the second issue where some of my previous work was not of the highest quality. Once again, thank you Dr.Bishop! First visit in 2025 and as in the past, not disappointed. Dr. Bishop is making sure that the new bridge that I am getting is going to be perfect. It is taking a little time, but I so appreciate his focus on the highest quality. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge his technicians and front staff who also display just how much they care for their patients. Thank you. As I close out 2025, I once again had the pleasure of getting great dental care from Dr. Bishop. Having had an extensive amount of dental work performed over the years, I was fortunate to find Dr. James Bishop and Dr. Catherine Bishop to care for General and periodontal needs.. My recent visit included a bonding and a new biteguard. In all my years, I have not experienced such focused and a committed desire to provide such outstanding care in dentistry by Dr. Jim and his entire staff. You can’t go wrong with this dentist.

Fantastic experience: After having a multi tooth bridge for 37 years, it came loose all in one piece and I went to visit Dr. Bishop to see if it could be recemented. Dr. Bishop continues to amaze me with his professionalism and his focus on quality services provided. He was able to save the posts and re-cement without having to face possible implants and a new bridge. There is no guarantee this will last for another 37 years but I couldn’t be happier. Having moved to this area after living in the Chicago suburbs for over 40 years, the dental care that I am receiving from him far surpasses anything that I received in those 40 years. Positive experience: Dr. Bishop does a wonderful job. He is very friendly and his office is comfortable and inviting. I was never fearful to go to the dentist when I was in his care. I told everyone I know to go to him and would have stayed with him until the end. I felt that he was my forever dentist. Unfortunately, that is until today when I was laughed at by the front desk staff. I called to make an appointment and told the front desk woman of my concerns of an infection, and then I was laughed at, actually laughed at. For reference the tooth I was calling about has just recently been infected and I have been sent to multiple specialists for, costing upwards of $4000 (after insurance)… and there IS currently pain, thus sparking my fears of another infection. She came back with a condescending laugh and said “UH stay off the off the internet yeah?” and then told me I couldn’t be in pain??? How could she know I wasn’t in pain??? I was aghast, and left feeling that these people did not care about me. I was given no compassion at all. I immediately called another dentist to establish care. The other dentist got me in immediately, and said it is absolutely something I wouldn’t want to let go for over a week… No one who is in pain should be laughed at and told they are not in pain.
