Negative experience: They put a filling in the wrong tooth, I wanted a cavity filled that was stabbing my tongue and instead they filled a much less urgent one I didn't even know I had. Also, I had to listen to Christian rock slash gospel music the whole time.

Fantastic experience: I have used Main Family Dental on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Great service and results. Dr. Mike is the best!

Negative experience: My wife and I had used this dentist office for 15+ years. Dr Hubner (and Dr G before him) is great but his front office staff are rude and incompetent. They cannot seem to get the billing correct and then blame everyone else but themselves. If you decide to go there, good luck.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office with very bad teeth and a lot of shame about it. Every single staff member I’ve interacted with here has been absolutely so kind to me and no one has made me feel more ashamed at all. One of the scariest things about going to the dentist when you have anxiety is the fear of judgement. Everyone that works here is very sweet. Before I came here I hadn’t been to the dentist for a proper screening in probably a decade. They’ve taken such great care of me and I highly recommend!

Negative experience: They’ll sit here and tell you your insurance covers everything knowing it doesn’t then hit you with a bill at the very end.

Positive experience: I had a decent experience with the dentist and staff, but 5 stars went to 3 when I got my bill. I was in for a bridge that came loose. I still had the bridge and the dentist put it back in. When I got my bill I had been charged for 2 crowns, $100 each. No crowns were provided. The other charges I accept, but being billed for something that wasn't provided is wrong. Not going back.

Fantastic experience: The whole team were so great to me. I have a lot of anxiety for dentist unfortunately, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable for even just X-rays and an exam. I’m sure they’ll exceed expectations for my fillings and deep cleanings. Recommend is an understatement

Fantastic experience: I had a traumatic experience losing a tooth, and being new to the area, I wasn’t sure of where to go. I’m glad I picked Main Family because they got me in quickly and took my condition seriously. I needed a surgery, and they were very prompt in referring me to an oral surgeon and making sure I got the care I needed. The staff is friendly and seem to really care about your oral health!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this place for 12 plus years. They've always take my insurance, great about appointment reminders too! Professional, knowledgeable, friendly staff, gentle on the adults (haha), always happy to see you, clean & sanitary and it's cool they have a seperate computer screen by the chair so when they are looking at the chart on the computer can see the X-rays or when they have taken pictures of your teeth & gums you can actually view what they are looking at & get a visual of issues and see exactly what's going on (they had this when I first started going here). I like the tvs in the rooms as it takes your mind off the teeth. I initially came hear because I couldn't find anyone that would take my insurance at the time and they have been so great I don't want to leave them! In addition appointments are right on everytime no long waiting and consistent with the time of procedures being done which can be important no long waiting times in waiting room. ****Update 4/5/2022 they don’t accept my new dental insurance :(

Negative experience: I have been a client of this office for close to 10 years. But because my insurance changed its policy and will only pay for xrays every 5 years. The Office expects me to pay out of pocket for xrays on an annual basis. Because I will not pay annually for xrays, they refused to clean my teeth. Ridiculous. Lost a client for good.

Negative experience: I wasn't even at the office, I was at the coffee shop this morning right next to this place and one of your employees decided to treat me like I was going to rob her or the coffee shop. She said just doing due diligence well heres my due diligence. I will never go here and I will make sure I tell all my friends not to go here as well.

Negative experience: Incompetent dental work that should never even been completed. Overcharged my credit card without my knowledge or consent and despite multiple emails and calls refuses to resolve the situation. Go to Main Family Dental at your own risk!

Fantastic experience: Dr. G is awesome and his assistant Hannah is so nice and welcoming. My procedure was very reasonably priced and I was in and out in an hour. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I was originally hesitant because I haven’t had good luck with dentists. In the past I’ve only experienced judgmental dentists and staff. But at this place it isn’t like that at all. Everyone was super nice, I never once felt judged or unwelcome. Dr John did a great job! Thank you so much!! I want to also edit and add that my second appointment here was awesome as well! I had Lisa this time and she was so sweet and very informative and did a great job keeping my anxiety down during my visit! She even made sure to have someone check in on me the next day just to see how i was doing since I had some discomfort during my appointment and I really appreciated that! Fantastic experience: We recently moved to Iowa from Green Bay, WI where we didn't have a dentists, because when I went to Fay Dental in Green Bay, WI the hygienist I had was very rude and disrespectful to me so we didn't go back. So when I went to Main Family Dental Care I was very pleasantly surprised of how nice everyone is, and the best part they don't judge you no matter how your teeth are. My hygienist was super nice and I didn't feel judged at all, and matter a fact she was very caring and gentle with me when she did my cleaning. I am so happy that they where the first dental place I found and called, because I feel I can trust them to do all my dental work. My husband had his teeth cleaned also, the same day, and recently he had to go in for an emergency tooth extraction and they took him in as soon as they could to pull it. So if you are looking for a dentist where they treat you with respect and make you feel like you are cared for then you should definitely choose Main Family Dental Care for all your dental care needs because they are so very well worth it. Fantastic experience: I brought my 89-year old mom here to establish a new dentist. She was worried about dental work in general, and about going to a new dentist. I did all the research I could, and chose Dr. Griebahn's office based on their vastly larger number of reviews, and still maintaining a high rating. I am so glad for the decision I made! The staff was so helpful and friendly, and Dr. Griebahn couldn't have been more caring, communicative and honest. I am thrilled with my decision, and highly recommend this excellent dentist!

Fantastic experience: Roses are reds; violets are blue; if you’re looking for a dentist; this ones for you! I had a tooth that was cold sensitive and turns out I was brushing too hard! Dr. G applied a desensitizing agent to it and It helped instantly! 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit here. I was very impressed with how thorough they were in my examination. They showed me all the pictures and x-rays. They made sure that I understood what they were showing me and also that I knew just what the procedures would be. Also, they explained what would and wouldn't be covered by insurance. They tried to make it as comfortable a procedure as possible. Everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The dentist was also nice but my visit with him was brief only because there weren’t any problems with my teeth. Their prices are reasonable and they mailed me a hand-written thank you card which I think added a great personal touch! I absolutely recommend going to them for your next dental visit.

Fantastic experience: I went in with a severe infection, major swelling and lots of general discomfort. I was promptly seen, and a plan for treatment was discussed and implemented. Fantastic experience: Dr. G is amazing! Last year I had a tooth that should have been a root canal but the dentist I was going to at the time just filled it. I had a massive infection and could reach anyone at the dentist office I was going to. I searched online for an emergency dentist and came across Dr. G. He took care of me and saw me in the office first thing Monday morning and called to check on me more than once over the weekend. I switched dentist immediately. Everyone in the office is so nice. They are understanding and it’s just a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. G to anyone who is looking for a dentist!

Fantastic experience: I originally went in there because I had a filling fall out. The staff was very nice and the doctor was able to replace the filling and it looks better then the original!!! Went back just the other day for a cleaning and it was painless and quick. I definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I needed a new dentist and I saw the high reviews for this office. Today they didn't disappoint. Shelby took my xrays and did my cleaning. I was very pleased with everything that happened. My charges, tooth conditions, what I needed done...All was gone over and explained at each step, by Dr. G, Shelby or the woman at the front desk. Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth on a Sunday night and had to call the 24 hour emergency number- I left a message, and recieved a call back within the hour!! During the phone call I felt no judgement and was clearly instructed on what to do and best not to do. The doctor also suggested I call first thing in the AM and they could see me in the morning. I called and was able to be seen that morning and the visit was AMAZING! (which I never thought I would say when having a tooth pulled!) They waited and helped me get my insurance figured out and walked me through each step before they did anything. They made sure I was comfortable each step of the way and the biggest thing of all- I felt NO JUDGEMENT as it's been awhile since I've seen a dentist. I didnt need pain meds and they sat with me and went through after care instructions and I was given a work note. I've been home for two days now and I had little to no pain, swelling, or bruising! I plan on returning to get more work done as well in 4 weeks!! Sooooo HAPPY WITH MY CARE AND VISIT!!!! Fully recommend this dentist office!!!!!!

The receptionists were very helpful with assisting me in gathering my insurance information, and the doctor was extremely gentle with my toothache. He explained everything about my condition and the medications he prescribed very clearly. I was told to call back if my condition did not improve or worsened at all over the next day or so. Negative experience: July 17, 2019 Fillings were done horribly by the dentist. Both of my fillings were very sandy and not evenly smooth on both jobs. Had to call the Dr in twice to fix these basic problems! The hygenist had the needles in my cheek and was moving it while it was in my cheek and it hurts like hell! It was a rush job and not a quality job for the amount of money that I'm paying.

The entire staff from the front desk, to the hygienists and dentists are thorough, professional and friendly. They all work hard to make sure their patients are relaxed, fully informed about their dental health, insurance coverage and payment options. We highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Sent me a bill for $36.50 a YEAR after the procedure. Not only is this weird and petty but I had the all clear from them when I left that my procedure was pre authorized and paid in full. See a different dentist this one apparently has terrible billing practices.

Fantastic experience: I was having a lot pain due to my wisdom teeth! I’m from Dubuque, Iowa and no one took my insurance. I did a lot of research and I called this practice and they squeezed me in for an x-ray even close to closing time that same day and staff even stayed later for me! Turns out I had 5 wisdom teeth! That next day I drove all the way back in from Dubuque, Iowa to get my extra wisdom tooth that was causing me pain pulled! Dr. G came on his day off to help me out! It was the best care I could have ever received! I definitely will return for future care! You guys rock!!!

Fantastic experience: I love Main Family Dental Care. First of all, they have flexible hours and I'm always able to get an appointment after work, without having to take time off. Second, Dr. Griebahn and Dr. Dague are very friendly and they also like to hear what I think or what I would like to do regarding procedures. When Dr. Griebahn referred me to a specialist, my records were sent to the new practictioner's within minutes and I felt well taken care of. Dr. Dague redid my tooth replacement twice because I wasn't happy with the results the first time. Overall, awesome doctors and super friendly staff in a very cosy and comfortable location.

Fantastic experience: Dr. G is amazing at what he does! I have a chip in my front tooth. Dr. G fixed my chip 8 years ago and did a fabulous job! I had another dentist do it and it only lasted me a short time. I called Dr. G to see if he could fix it for me again and it looks amazing! You can't even tell that there is a chip in my front tooth. He really takes his time and cares about his work. The staff at Main Family Dental is amazing and so friendly! I highly recommend Dr.G and his practice.

Fantastic experience: I first came to this office almost two years ago, and I was blown away with staff and the service I received. Everyone here is so nice, and the office space has a homey feel to it, which is very relaxing. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone I talk to.

Negative experience: I would like to start by saying my hygienist Terri was great. The dentist was also kind and informative. My issue is I made an appointment for a cleaning as a new patient. Upon check in, I filled out my paperwork and wrote down the insurance information that I had. My dental insurance company does not provide cards. The hygienist took me back to the room and stated that the front desk girls were having trouble with my insurance info. I then informed her that I was insured under my partners policy and he had just been in the office. Evidently they found my insurance information. Proceeded with x-rays, only to tell me they might not have time to do my cleaning. At this point I am very upset. I had to leave work early for this appointment, and now it might have to turn in to 2 separate appointments. To make things worse, they will no longer be in network with my insurance after June 22, which I knew in advance when I made the appointment, the issue now is they don't have an appointment to offer to me, one which works for me and my work schedule prior to my insurance going out of network. They offer to schedule it for afterward and I'll only have to pay $32 for my cleaning. Thanks, but no thanks. I have insurance which covers me at 100% for cleanings. I'll gladly find another dentist that will schedule adequate amount of time for x-rays and cleaning. If they were having an issue finding my insurance informating and that's what caused the hold up, the staff should have spoke to me. They require 48 hr cancellation, however I made my appt. a few weeks out and provided insurance information over the phone. I suppose my time is less valuable as now they expect me to come in twice for something that every other dentist I have ever been to has been able to complete in one visit. Very poor appointment planning on their part and I will not be going back. Very disappointed. In response to your reply.... When I made my appointment for my cleaning - I also made an appointment for my boyfriend for a cleaning and consultation, you stated at that time he would need 2 appointments due to time constraints. I was never advised over the phone prior to making my appointment that you may not have enough time to complete xrays and a cleaning for me during one appointment - had that been the case I would have scheduled two at that time as I had done for my boyfriend. If you were truly doing me a favor to meet my needs before you went out of network with my provider you would have asked me to go ahead and schedule a 2nd appointment at that time just in case. In regards to the office staff being unable to find my insurance information, that's what the hygienist told me when she walked me to the exam room. She walked out multiple times to check with the front desk to see if she was able to proceed with x-rays. If this was not the case I am unsure why she told me this or what the issue was. I am not being hurtful, just truthful as to what I experienced.

Fantastic experience: Called last minute allowed me to essentially walk in. I have put this appointment off for so long and am so thankful I called. The staff was wonderful and friendly! My hygienist was so perfect! Great sense of humor!

Fantastic experience: Me and my husband Scott were both recently seen at Main Family Dental Care for amazingly enough the same problem - we both needed a wisdom tooth pulled. Everyone there made us both feel comfortable and our procedures both went well. Scott says he has been to other dentists and would not go anywhere else since he has been going here. Me too!

Fantastic experience: I originally decided to give Main Family Dental Care a try when shopping around for having a cavity filled. They offered both traditional and modern methods and at a lower cost. However, upon evaluation of X-rays, Dr. Dague delivered some hard news about my tooth. After much discussion about options with long-term results, we decided to go with a crown (much more expensive, but a permanent solution). I appreciated her candid approach with me, and the dental care itself was exceptional. She and all of the assistants and hygienists have terrific bedside manners. The crown feels natural and is a good fit.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Main Family Dental always give stellar customer service. I was just there today and witnessed the lady checking people out offer to give an elderly gentleman a ride home since it was raining. That is customer service at its finest and a true passion to serve. Going to the dentist has never been a pleasurable experience for me but Dr. Dague makes everything painless and comfortable. She is excellent at her job. I recomend this business to anyone looking for a great place to have dental work done.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Main Family Dental Care for a longtime! We drive over 30 minutes but it is worth it! The staff does a great job communicating and explaining concerns and procedures. We feel extremely comfortable and also feel we have a personal relationship with everybody that works there. Fantastic experience: The hospitality starts the second you walk into the waiting room with fresh cookies, snacks and a small refrigerator filled with beverages for while you wait. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We have been patients for years and always have a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get my tooth filling fixed that another dentist didn't do correctly. I wasn't able to eat on the right side of my mouth for entire 2 months. Was able to get in fast. Dr. G was able to take the old filling out and completely and precisely redo the filling. He even called me the next day to ask how I was feeling! I would definitely recommend going to Main Family Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Myself and the rest of my family have been going here for years now. My daughter is extremely scared of the dentist and now that we come here all that has gone away. Very friendly staff that treat you well. They also have little snacks which are nice to keep young kids busy with something to munch on while they're waiting. I highly recommend you make the right choice and make this your dentist office as well.
