Fantastic experience: My mother is 85 years old and went in for tooth pain. She had fractures in two teeth on her lower jaw that looked terrible on X-ray. Dr. Mia was wonderful. He was very gentle and patient with answering her concerns. After we left and she has praised him for two days! This is a great Dental Studio and the entire staff including Dr. Duncan are good people and excellent at what they do.

Fantastic experience: I went for usual cleaning and the dental tech. found a cracked filling that hadn't started hurting yet. The dental surgeon was able to take care of removal of damaged area and refill the area in about 15 to 20 minutes. I'm usually not that lucky. Good to have excellent dental group.

Fantastic experience: I was able to be seen quickly by Dr. Mai for an infected tooth that was beginning to abscess, and while 24 weeks pregnant. Dr. Mai and his team did a FANTASTIC job of making the process quick, easy to understand, and provided amazing relief. He was very gentle and calm through the entire procedure and that helped so much. They were also up front about the cost, and had the smoothest process for such an extreme situation. I cannot recommend their services enough!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental office! I had my wisdom tooth extraction done here and Dr.Mai made sure every step of the way that I was comfortable and not in pain. The dental assistant Clarissa made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of every step of the way. I really appreciated how Dr.Mai walked me through and warned me when pressure was being applied or scary noises I was hearing. He also took great attention to when I altered him to any pain I was feeling and immediately stopped what he was doing and shot more medicine during the procedure. Overall had an amazing experience and my post op recovery has been going great. I left with little to no pain and minimal swelling. Update Nov. 10: Cleaning/Invisalign Consult Clarissa was very kind and giggly, she walked me to my room and helped Brooke when needed. She made me feel comfortable and also helped convince me to look into Invisalign. Brooke was an amazing dental hygienist, she walked me through everything she was doing from cleaning to pictures. She was very kind and had a bubbly personality the whole time. Dr. Duncan was very informative during the consultation and explained very well the importance of Invisalign and how it would benefit me. Becky at the front desk was clear and explained the financial side perfectly! She was kind and went through each of the financing options with me and informed me what my insurance covered as well. This dental office is awesome!

Fantastic experience: This is my 2nd time going. The first time I had to have 2 teeth pulled, and I'm a MAJOR dental woos !!!! Dr. Mai and his crew were excellent. EXCELLENT ! This time, almost a year to.the day, I had to have the same 2 teeth (on the other side) pulled. Again, Dr. Mai and his crew were top notch. I'll never be able to say enough good things about Dr. M. This time, I had a concern after I got home, a little worried, so I called the office. I got a recording, because they were closed and I was instructed to call a certain number and leave a message. My call was returned very shortly after by none other than the fabulous Dr. Mai himself ! I'm grateful and very impressed for Duncan Dental, Dr. Mai and all the young ladies that work there. Absolutely everyone !!

Fantastic experience: I was TERRIFIED……but Dr. Peter Mai made it all OK. I had tooth 19 extracted and my teeth grow deep into the jaw bone. He deadened the area and deadened it more later. Yes, I felt pulling, etc. but very little pain. I appreciate this so much.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Duncan, Dr. Mai, & Staff, I apologize for not sending this sooner. I want to sincerely thank you both and staff for the great care y’all have given to me for ~ 25 years. Especially this past April after my biannual teeth cleaning Dr. Duncan told me he woke up one morning and thought, I need to get Chip back in and look at that area in his mouth. Dr. Mai looked at the area and we scheduled a biopsy. Results showed that I did not have cancer, but it was precancerous. I truly believe that Jesus tapped Dr. Duncan that morning to remind him to get me back in his office. Dr. Mai did the biopsy a week later and 2 weeks after the results had come in indicating precancer I wanted to go back in to have Dr. Mai see if my gums were healing. Dr. Mai said that area was already looking a lot better. I told Dr. Mai that after 50+ years dipping snuff I quit the day he called me with the results and Dr. Mai literally got goosebumps. Dr. Duncan and Dr. Mai are not only superb in their profession, they both truly care about their patients. I am fortunate to be a patient of Duncan Dental and I thank y'all including their staff for the years of care and compassion given to me! Sincerely, Chip Hogan

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Duncan Dental for years!! Although they are out of network through my insurance, I refuse to go anywhere else. I had to have a procedure done recently and found out that James would not be the one doing it. I was really freaking out. I was told Dr Mai would be doing it. I had only just met him. He was super nice, but I was very hesitant since Dr James Duncan has been my dentist forever lol. Needless to say Dr Mai did my procedure, talked to me through the whole thing and made me feel so comfortable through the nerves!! Clarissa was awesome too!! I absolutely love her!! Dr Duncan told me I would be fine and not to worry, and he was right!! I love this place and everyone in the front office is great too. I highly recommend Duncan Dental!!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with the staff! Becky took the time to explain how the billing process worked, breaking it down into simpler terms so I could understand what my insurance covered and what I would need to pay out of pocket. She provided great advice when I was unsure about getting Invisalign, and she was both sweet and funny! Michelle was also very pleasant, guiding me step by step through the procedure. She gave detailed explanations about how Invisalign works, including the process of wearing and cleaning the aligners. I felt very comfortable in the chair because she was kind and respectful throughout my visit!

Fantastic experience: Duncan Dental is easily one of the best dentist offices in the costal bend. Friendly, patient, and professional about what they do. I have severe heart problems and after being turned away by other dental offices for more than a cleaning Duncan Dental was willing to communicate with my specialist team and embrace me as a patient. I personally can’t put into words how great this dental office is.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Duncan Dental for at least 5 years and have been very pleased with the whole staff! Duncan is very warm and caring and easy to talk to. His assistants are great at what they do too. Honestly, I have a fear of dentists going back to some painful procedures when I was young. I have definitely gotten over that at Duncan Dental. Duncan is concerned when you seem uncomfortable; and stops and checks in on you during procedures (and I have had many crowns replaced and a couple root canals). Dr. Mai is also very good! My son had his front teeth broken (typical boy!) and Dr. Mai did a repair that was absolutely wonderful and he has a great smile years later. He loves Dr. Mai and takes care of his teeth well because he cares about Dr. Mai being pleased with him (after all he fixed his smile and gave him confidence years before).

Fantastic experience: I was new to town and had not yet found a Dentist for my regular checkups or emergencies. I found myself on a weekend with a tooth that had cracked in half and one half of it that had fallen out. I contacted Duncan Dental first thing Monday morning and they fit me in at 9:00am that morning. I never give a perfect score on any surveys as there is always something to improve upon. Well this will by my first 10 out of 10 that I give to Duncan Dental. The dental hygienist was so friendly, they explained everything in detail that was going to happen to make sure I understood everything. The person that explained the billing to me had everything in order and I knew what to expect depending on what procedure I was going to need. Dr. Mai, was perfect in explaining what he would be checking for and showed me my x-ray on what was happening. Luckily I did not need a root canal, and just a build up, temporary cap, mold for permanent cap, and a scheduled appointment to install the permanent cap in two weeks. I was expecting to have to have the temporary cap done another day, but to my surprise, they performed the procedure right then and there. I walked in a new patient (emergency) patient, and 1-1/2 hours later I walked out with a temporary crown, and peace of mind that I made the right choice. By the way, this was a painless experience both physically, mentally, and financially. Thank you everyone, from the front office, Dr’s, Maintenance, etc. it’s takes a team and what a team it is. Congrats to bringing back customer service to where it needs to be in a business. Kudos to all for a superb job. Have a Blessed Day
