Positive experience: Thought I was coming for a yearly cleaning, didn't happen. Got information about a multitude of things supposed to be done , thousands of dollars above my insurance coverage. Going for a second opinion elsewhere, since the cost was so incredibly unforseen. Staff was very nice.

Fantastic experience: Had been going to another dentist in town and was getting more and more dissatisfied. It was a hassle to get in, and when I could, they looked at me for five minutes and referred me out instead of helping. Then, the day before my daughter graduated from college, I lost a front filling. My then-dentist rather coldly informed me that their dentists were both booked for about a week and they couldn’t help me. Blue Jay Dental fit me in that afternoon, and were able to fit my permanent crown the next morning. In talking to them, it turns out they could do everything I needed done in-house, including a surgical extraction. Sarah was awesome, and Dr Fidone was kind, caring, and wonderful at his job. I have such high dental anxiety, and I found myself actually laughing during my appointment. 15/10, highly recommend. I found my new dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I have been in constant pain for the last month due to my teeth slowly rotting away from chemotherapy. Doctors have passed me around saying they couldn’t help and to try someone else, BlueJay is the first ones to say they can help me and get me taken care of! It truly means a lot when I already have so much going on! Thank you guys and you deserve 6/5 stars

Negative experience: Went here before they changed over to blue jay, the work they do is exceptional. As for the front desk lady Penny, she’s not very kind and will make smirky comments when trying to cancel an appointment. If something more important came up I don’t really think that’s her place to dictate and for that two stars.

Negative experience: Front desk lady is very rude and doesn’t do her job at all. Wants to get upset for missing an appointment but can’t read her emails, even called her out for it. 3 office staff up there doing squat . Wouldn’t recommend this office , esp if you’re waiting for your dental records. Front desk lady will make it her mission to make sure you don’t get them

Fantastic experience: I look forward to my appointment every 6 months! Easy to schedule, pleasant staff, and Dr. Fidone and the hygienist team are thorough and non-judgemental (which is a relief especially when I first started visiting 4 years ago). The hydrolic chairs are extra comfy and scenic windows in the service area are also great.

Now I was so scared but his team talk to me comfort me even took care of my daughter KRySTALL while she on in the waiting room. She was cold and they gave her a heater. Day 1 you're in pain of course you got your teeth pulled out..lol gave great post op care. You have to take your pain killer, then you can take little naps.honestly on my way home I was thinking why did I do this. Then I got to thinking about my children grandbabies and soon great grandbaby. I won't have rotten teeth take me out of here and Doctor and the staff at BlueJay Family Dental save my Life. Fantastic experience: I no longer dread going to the dentist! I use to hate everything about my dentist visits from the cleaning to the xrays and now I find all the experiences bearable. X-rays still aren’t my favorite but the staff does their best to make them bearable. Even fillings are not as painful as I remember from the past!

Negative experience: After reading other reviews I’m surprised to have to post this. My daughter recently contacted me informing me she was just told she has 9 cavities, needs a crown, and has weak enamel after attending this office for a chipped tooth she has. I immediately questioned this as she hasn’t had a cavity in a couple years. I made her an appointment with my dentist for a second opinion and had her drive home from college. As I expected she has 3 cavities and the tooth that needs a crown will most likely at some point but as of now a $100 fix is all that’s necessary. It may hold out for 20 years but a crown is not needed at this time. There is no issues with her enamel. I feel it’s fair to say their treatment plans are extremely aggressive.

Negative experience: I’ve always believed the front desk sets the tone for any office, and unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. After I accidentally missed an appointment, the receptionist called me and was extremely rude and snarky instead of being understanding or professional. I completely acknowledge it was my fault for missing the appointment, but the tone and attitude were unnecessary. I’ve been a patient at this office for many years and have never missed an appointment before. I’ve even come in during a snowstorm when asked to come in at an earlier time so staff could leave work early. Accidents happen, and I apologized for my error today but that wasn’t good enough for the woman on the phone. Normally, I would let something like this go thinking she could possibly just be having a bad day, but this wasn’t my first negative encounter with her. At my last visit, while discussing my insurance with another staff member, I added to the conversation with what I thought was helpful information for them to have and she cut me off in a snarky tone, saying, “Well, I wasn’t talking to you. I was talking to her.” It was dismissive, very unprofessional and completely unnecessary. The dental team itself has always been wonderful, pleasant, and professional. Even the other younger receptionist are very nice. However, the way patients are treated at the front desk matters. Respect and kindness should always come first in healthcare, especially since this is a patient’s very first impression. After today I will no longer be coming to this dental office because I’m not going to put up with the unprofessional and rude behavior from the old front desk Karen who seems to enjoy being rude to people.

Fantastic experience: The staff, from when you walk in the front door, you get a warm smile usually from a shorter lady that checks you in, to the doctor, and the rest of the staff. They go above and beyond to do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of and if possible taken care of the same day you scheduled a 1 hr visit, they care about their customers so much they didn’t stop working on my teeth until they were done. They’re all personable people, and very kind. I live 32 minutes away and I wouldn’t change where I get my dental work done no matter what because they do that great of work. Fantastic experience: I was very hesitant to get any of the dental work done that was recommended by Dr. Fidone. But I got a crown and cavity done and I was so impressed with the work he did. I have been to multiple dentist over the years and this was probably the best experience as far as comfort during the procedures. Also the receptionist gals were helpful in arranging appointments and such. I was pleased to have such a good experience.

The dentist is very nice and knows his stuff. Our family has had root canals, fillings, and now an implant. The dentist explains things thoroughly and is very kind. I don’t believe that they have any payment plans, everything is upfront cost, they are good about getting estimates and pricing to you before work is done.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful office. My mom's insurance has caused us endless problems. The office was on top of it at all times and went the extra mile to resolve the issues. The degree of support and communication we received is unprecedented in healthcare these days. I wish all of my mom's healthcare was this outstanding. A special shootout to Kayla for all the time she spent on hold with insurance so we didn't have to.
