Fantastic experience: Great experience overall . Quick appointments and great service. Front desk lady is super nice and helpful with any questions. If you looking for quick appointments, great service and reasonable prices I highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: I waited 35 min to get my cleaning started, the woman was very new and it took her 20 min just to floss my teeth before the dentist even looked at my teeth, then they had an equipment failure and he called me a jinx … haha….then he starts cleaning my teeth and want to take a rest, no I said I want to get this finished …. Then he comments oh you may want to get that cavity filled you have in the back tooth…. There is so much more I could say about the way the financing has been done…..I’ve been going there for 8 years I may be done

Negative experience: Worst place ever my son came here order retainer didn't deliver on time they took two months and I asked for a refund. They did not wanna give me the refund and the retainer doesn't even fit, right. worst place ever

Fantastic experience: Everyone here seemed genuinely happy to help. The assistant made friendly conversation to keep me relaxed, and the dentist worked efficiently without rushing. The whole appointment took less time than I expected, and everything turned out great.

Negative experience: My daughter and I visited this place a year ago 4/30/25. It was our first dentist visit in Texas and we just google searched a local place. It was filthy. They had open outlets, bugs and eye lashes on the floor. It was our first and last visit. We stopped by a month later to get X-rays to sent to her new dentist. They wanted to know why we were leaving and I just said it wasn’t a good fit. But now a year later I get an email claiming I owe them 98dollars from our one visit after paying 64 dollar at check in. My husband and I bother have insurance on our daughter and have NEVER payed for dental out of pocket. This place is a scam and disgusting. Not to mention the dental assistant smelled of smoke and the dentist had bad breath. I’m not saying any of this to be mean, my daughter and I had a bad experience and just left it alone and found a great dental office after this garbage,,, but then you try and charge me OVER A YEAR later. The owners need to get it together. NO ONE WHO CARES ABOUT THIER HEALTH SHOULD GO HERE.

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist, from the receptionist to the dental assistants to the doctor. They all made me feel special and were attentive, patient, and explained every detail so I felt comfortable and stress-free.

Negative experience: This place is nowhere near “professional” I called prior to my appointment & asked questions about prices & questions about my insurance, they gave me specific answers & when it comes the day for my appointment they want to change their prices & say that blah blah my insurance was added on when whole time it was not & they where trying to charge me 2x the actual cost of my entire procedure. I called my insurance to confirm my plan because I was afraid I had read my contract wrong but once again my insurance reassured me that I in fact was correct about the prices & that they shouldn’t have been trying to charge that much. I personally did not like the service & I can also say that the receptionist, dental hygienist, & dentist did not seem to really know what I was talking about.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly the doctor and his assistance explain everything to me very well. I was very pleased with the work that they’ve done to my mouth today and I will let someone else in my family know about the Dentist experience today. Thank you and I will return in May. From the front desk to the chair, everyone was incredibly kind and patient. Dr. Najera took the time to explain everything without rushing me. If you’re nervous about dental work, this is the place to go.

Negative experience: This dental office is the WORST. No one should ever waste their time here. They scheduled me for a cleaning on a Thursday at 10am. I get to the location and the door is locked. I call them and they don’t answer. I get ahold of customer service and they tell me they are closed. On a Thursday???!!! Why would I be scheduled if they are closed??? I also tried calling over the course of the last 2 weeks. The only person I can get ahold of is customer service. Customer service tried calling them, they didn’t answer. Customer service sent them a message that I was trying to set up a payment plan to pay for a $800 bill that’s not even mine and they still won’t answer. I guess they don’t want my money?? Don’t even get me started on sitting and waiting for my appointment 2 hours past my appointment time. This place is a wreck and they have needed to do something out it for years. Someone please figure it out!!

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at Fossil Ranch Dental. This is honestly the most sketchy dental office I’ve ever been to. From the start, there were multiple unknown fees that no one could clearly explain, which made the whole process feel dishonest and frustrating. On top of that, the orthodontic service was extremely poor. The quality of care did not meet basic expectations, and I left feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously at all. Overall, between the surprise charges and the subpar treatment, I will never do business with them again and would not recommend this office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very friendly and Dr explained each step of procedure( removed old bridge, root canal, crown , made and seeded temporary bridge). This was all done the same day and they were quick(2 hours) but thorough. I only have to go back once the permanent bridge is back to have it seeded. I hate when the dentist breaks it into several visits. For these reasons, I would recommend Fossil Ranch Dental to anyone.

Negative experience: Apparently, businesses can block people from leaving reviews, and I had no idea…so I am having to put my original post here and… luckily I copied and pasted some of it……. The first part of my review stated that I had “permanent implants” that came out and I was given the runaround!!! I was sent to Duncanville and had Duncanville and Saginaw cancel three times because the equipment was not in!! The beginning of this is talking about SUMATHI CHANDRASHEKHAR(who stated she did not feel comfortable putting the implants back in when she originally PUT THEM AND!! I CAN ONLY ASSUME SHE DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING THE FIRST TIME WHICH IS WHY IT FELL OUT AND I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH TSBDE, TEXAS STATE BOARD OF DENTAL EXAMINERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only is Fossil Ranch Dental Care and Orthodontics located at 1209 N Saginaw Blvd in Saginaw, TX billing me for a bridge I have ALREADY PAID FOR BUT THEY ARE BILLING ME FOR WORK THEY DID NOT DO!!! They sent me to Duncanville Dental/Brident to redo the work because they REFUSED to do it because, as I previously stated, Dr Sumathi Chandrashekhar DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING HER JOB!!!

Negative experience: I didn’t know businesses could block people from leaving reviews but that is what Fossil Ranch Dental & Orthopedic did!!! I guess they were not happy about my review last year when my “permanent implants” fell out and I kept getting the runaround from the Saginaw and Duncanville locations! Constantly rescheduling appointments the day of AFTER I HAD TAKEN OFF FROM WORK!! And I guess they were not happy about my post that the dentist who put my implants in at the Saginaw location sent me to Duncanville because she said she did not feel comfortable putting them in. Against my better judgment I scheduled an appointment for an exam and cleaning for 830 today. I arrived and the doors are LOCKED and the lights are off! I call and I am told the dentist had an emergency and we just called you..I was sitting in the parking lot since 815 and my phone never rang!!! So do I get a cancellation fee???!! This is the WORST DENTAL OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!

Positive experience: New Dr is awesome. The girls in the office can now finally take a breath and relax .little bit more organized from office staff . doctor very gentle very caring for her staff and patience both.keep going on this road

Negative experience: If you’re looking at reviews about this place, read this one. This is the WORST dental clinic I have EVER been to. There is ALWAYS someone there complaining and arguing with the workers and if it’s not someone else it’s me. They are the most rude and disrespectful workers I have ever encountered. I’ve been working in the customer service industry for 4 years !! And I have never raised my voice, or been so disrespectful as much as this place has been to me, my mother, and other people I’ve witnessed in arguments with staff.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend going there unless you get SCAMMED, want to pay huge amount of money despite having insurance. I paid less amount at Round Grove Family Dentistry at Lewisville than I paid here with high coverage insurance. BIGGEST REGRET!!! Trying to save 25 mins drive and ended up paying 100s x times more. Not going there next time or ever again.

Negative experience: This place is the worst. they are incompetent, unreliable and corrupt. First time visit to this office, the hygienist look at look at my gums and completed my exam saying my tooth was ok and ready to do my cleaning. Then the dentist came, she did another exam and said my teeth was in the worse condition and I needed deep cleaning that would cost $1700. I asked them why did your hygienist do the same exam and tell me i was ok and didn’t need a deep cleaning, they tell me is because she is not our regular hygienist.. so incompetent, so why is she working there if your hygienist recommendation is not reliable or why would I have 2 separate exams and the dentist and the hygienist exams are so different. I will NEVER recommend such as office.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. The ladies at the desk were super nice. I had some insurance problems and they were very patient with it. The doctor was helpful and fixed my smile right back up and I will be back for sure. So glad I stumbled across this office. Great staff, friendly, helpful & understanding.

Negative experience: Received a bill that was far more than my on office estimate AND more than my insurance EOB stated was my portion to pay—by about $400! Getting anyone on the phone is near impossible. They continued to call me about my bill, and then when I would ask about the difference, they told me they would have a specialist call me. Finally got on the phone with one that would “look into it”, and never got a call back.

Negative experience: Have my records from Saddlebrook. They would not take care of implant that has failed. Need more info on Bridant. They state they are no longer under the Bridant umbrella.

Negative experience: I waited for over 45 minutes and still never saw the doctor I only had a question about my partial . I have spent over 25,000 dollars and I needed 5 minutes but didn’t happen! Very disappointed

Negative experience: Not a good experience. I went to this dental office and they did an X-ray. The assistant put a clamp on the bottom of my teeth and it caused a wound. It was painful and hurt for a couple of days. Not satisfied with their care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Z was great! She is a very nice and kind person. I normally get a lot of anxiety at new dentist visits but she explained everything throughly to me, she answered any questions i had, and always made sure i was ok. I found my new dentist!

Fantastic experience: Was my first time there, everyone was very nice. Every step taken was explained and Dr was very patient, I was very impressed by everyone there. My parents looking for a dentist and I advised them to go as well. Also wanted to add the deep cleaning I received was by far the best from others I have received.

Negative experience: I have few concerns to share about this place. 1. I was here for free orthodontist consultation on 11/17/2024. Despite their answer being yes to free consultation for multiple times I had asked that question, an x-ray claim was submitted to my insurance and I was asked to pay the cost out of my pocket after few days. 2. I also paid $32 for my regular checkout which I see is 100% covered by insurance. 3. My insurance clearly shows 100% coverage for periodontal maintenance but yet I was charged with $58 for it. 4. The gingival irrigation in my prior clinic was always included with periodontal maintenance with no extra cost. However, fossil ranch dental care charged a separate amount of $74 for it as well. I would suggest to inquiry on cost and compare that with other clinics before you visit this place as information shared by this office for me was misleading.

Negative experience: This office is managed terribly. We have had several appointments canceled or rescheduled without being notified. We are only told when we arrive for the appointment and are told it has been moved. We changed dentists last year but unfortunately are stuck with the orthodontist until my son finishes out his braces.

I was helped by Brooke, who was very attentive and provided me with invaluable information. I usually hate going to the dentist but this was a 10/10 experience, thank you guys!

Negative experience: As of now I can only give 1 star. The staff was friendly but I feel like there is no organization. I waited for prescription to be called into the pharmacy after my appointment and it never happened. I called and spoke with an answering service. I called the next morning and still no prescription no call back. I drove back to the office that states they close at 2:00 pm only to find a locked door with the lights out. So now I'll go the weekend with no antibiotics for my broken tooth. This was my first time visiting this Dental office and so far Im feeling very unsure about the service.

Negative experience: I strongly advise avoiding this dental office. They attempted to charge us for appointments from over two years ago. When I contacted my insurance provider, I was told they have not received any claims from this office for the last 30 months (since December 2022). On top of that, don’t even bother trying to call them, they will not return your calls despite saying they will. This is highly concerning and unprofessional. Be cautious before choosing this place.

Fantastic experience: They worked with me in being able to get new dentures made. Polite and very easy to converse with concerning my dental needs. Deeply explained their 5 step procedure. Really amazing people.

Negative experience: I did exam with them for deep cleaning, they came up with almost $800 out of pocket cost for JUST ONE appointment. So I cancelled the cleaning. And now after over 6 months, they are sending me bill of $155 for x-rays saying that my insurance denied the cost of x-rays. Before the exam, I gave them my insurance info and they told the exam was free and I would be billed only if I did anything. These guys are on different planet. AVOID! See others reviews too, they over charge you and the cost is just ridiculous. Imagine if I had did the cleaning, the bill would be in thousands.

Negative experience: I have been going to Fossil Ranch Dental Care for over 3yrs and up until recently had a good experience. Over the last 11 months the office service has declined dramatically. The sole reason my rating is not a 1 star, is because they did a good job of cleaning my teeth. I have had the same dental insurance since 2015, and recently the office has become out of network and I was not aware of this until I received a large bill. The office continually ask me if my dental insurance and medical insurance are the same and have issues updating my account with the correct information. When trying to call to speak to someone at the office to address the issue, no one answers. Then the call is transferred to an off-site call center where they cannot help you. Usually they say the office is closed. When I try to go to the office in person, the doors are locked. I called my insurance company directly and they stated they office was out of network for a 12-month period. I received a bill after my latest appointment and when I called my insurance company to ask about it being covered, I was told the dental office never submitted the claim. I have cancelled my future appointment because I no longer feel this is the best option for dental care. The customer service is non-existent and there are several other dental offices in the DFW area to choose from.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I walked in, I had a fantastic experience. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was seen almost immediately—no long wait times. The doctor was incredibly attentive and took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that made me feel informed and at ease. It was clear that my health and well-being were her top priorities. I left feeling confident and cared for. I’ll definitely be back and plan to make this my new dental home!

The manager Shay went over all my options with me and got me set up with a payment plan . I am confident in this office and will be coming to get my work done here. 10/10!

Negative experience: First time patient and last time. This office didnt even provide a cleaning which was the whole purpose of going and when giving dental history it felt like I was being patronized and told I could have things fixed when I "get over my trauma". Then to top it all of the hygienist reeked of cigarettes. Very money hungry as well considering they wanted to take an extra xray but never asked for my consent or informed me it would be an extra charge. Question everything they do if you go here so you don't spend more than u have to.

Fantastic experience: This office is insane! The care, the time they took to go over every question in detail with my sister and me was phenomenal!!! If you’re trying to get more bang for your buck and these hard times, and you want quality work with quality dentist and their whole team of orthodontics and everything one stop shop that you could ask for the this is your place! They are down to earth and not bougie. They’re awesome. I recommend this to anybody and everybody who is having problems with their teeth.

Negative experience: Horrible experience! I had extensive dental work done here and paid a lot of money. I have since had problems with the same teeth I had work done and I’ve had other dentist have to RE-DO three different things so far. 1 is a redo root canal, 2 is two cavities side by side need redone, and 3 I had a tooth that never had a root canal have a crown put on it even though the tooth was inflamed and needed a root canal. I have since had to remove that tooth and now I have to pay for an implant after paying for a crown. This dentistry has cost me thousands of dollars in work. Do not recommend! Zero stars! Save your money and go someplace else!

Negative experience: If you have dhmo you will be there for like 2 hours for them to tell they don’t have availability for cleaning. And if I’d like to schedule an appt for the next day to get a cleaning.

Negative experience: Great staff and a great doctor. It was my first visit and I was anxious, but she assured me and I felt supported on my treatment plan. (5-Stars for the Dr) However, (unfortunately) I was unaware they merged or were bought out from Brident Dental Care. I left them due to billing and the lack of willingness to help the customer. I was told since their printers were down they would email me my invoice and plan. When I call they will all say the same thing .... "I will send a message to the office...." When all I needed was my invoice of the dental plan they proposed. I need time to call my insurance company to verify my policy and PT responsibility. They are not allowing me that time when they did not send the invoice as the front office stated they would. (1-Star for billing/availability for the customer) Communication and patient care is a high priority for me. I worked in the medical field in ALL the areas, so I know about following through for patients. I had 5 stars and changed my review solely on the customer service through Dental Works Call Center. They refused to allow me to wait for a supervisor. I was hung up 3 times today, Saturday, and twice Friday.

Negative experience: I was grossly disappointed in the service I COULD NOT receive. The hygienist determined that I had gum disease and refused to clean my teeth. The doctor made a 2-minute visit and noticed nothing. I had been in the office for 1.5 hours at this point. I think the point of it all was to make sure that the bill was more than my insurance would pay. If you decide to go there, take plenty of money! My recent experience, however, shattered basic expectations and left me questioning the integrity of the practice.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience and dentist visit. Staff went above and beyond with my care.

Negative experience: I have been going to Fossil Ranch Dental for several years, loved my dentist. Only had one problem with them billing me several times for something I wasn’t responsible for. I saw that they had partnered with Brident Dental, which I wasn’t familiar with. Never even got a notification about that, that I could remember. Anyway, I had a dentist appointment, last week and it was the worst experience I had ever encountered there or anywhere else! First off, it seemed that I wasn’t scheduled for a cleaning( what else do we go to the dentist twice a year for) or so, it seems. After the x-rays, the girl said, so I guess you didn’t want your teeth cleaned. I said what, of course I wanted my teeth cleaned. She then left, I guess to talk to someone about this. She comes back 10-15 minutes later. She left without taking that heavy cover off of me( that they put on you for x-rays). Finally a hygienist shows up and starts the whole cleaning process. When they use the tool to remove tartar from on and around your teeth, she was doing it rough and I thought she was going to break my teeth. When she was done with the cleaning, she was behind me putting notes in the computer maybe. She was saying some things and I could barely hear her. I assume when she leaves, what she said was that my dentist would be in to see me, shortly. I swear I sat there for 15-20 minutes, waiting. Mind you, my appointment was at 8:30 am and it was now going on 11am. I got up and went to the front desk and said, why am I still here? Oh, let me go check. She comes back and says that my dentist is in with another patient and doesn’t know when she’ll be done. I’m like I’ve been here too long already and I’m ready to go. She was like, don’t you want the dentist to go over your x-rays with you. I said no, they can talk to me when I come back in 6 mos., I’m ready to go. So, I paid and left. I saw some new faces, probably because of Brident! I don’t know what happened but something has changed and I don’t like it!!! I’m thinking of finding a new dental company! Just wanted to let anyone that is a patient there(on N. Saginaw, off of W. Bailey Boswell Rd) that if you haven’t been there since they combined with Brident, you may want to think of going somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: The Dentist and her team are incredibly friendly and professional, they’re always putting me at ease during appointments. During my exam she thoroughly explained my treatment options and made sure to get me scheduled right away. What I Appreciate most is the detailed explanations of procedures and treatment plans the front office presented me with. The organization and communication is on point at this location which is super important to me as a patient. Their office environment is calming and the dentist/assistants prioritized different steps to minimize discomfort during treatments. The office is very well maintained, and the staff is always organized and prepared. They have always made sure to bring me back on time for my appointments weather that was just a check up exam or for procedures. I will be returning to Fossil Ranch Dental Care for all of my future dental visits. :)

Positive experience: Staff was courteous. Dentist was very knowledgeable and suggested an alternative plan to save my broken tooth instead of jumping right into a costly root canal.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this office. The dentist and team were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The manager took her time to go over finance options with me & helped me come up with a game plan. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Negative experience: If you like having your time wasted, then this is the place for you! I showed up to my appointment on time, but that didn't matter. My appointment for a check-up and cleaning took 2 hours. Funnily enough, I didn't get the cleaning done. So, for some reason, it takes 2 hours for a five minute checkup... They rescheduled me next day for the cleaning. No biggie, I have that day off, so I took the new appointment time. Next day comes along, and as I am walking out of the door, they call to cancel my appointment because the hygienist called out. The next available appointment wasn't until the following week. Which is not enough time for me to ask off. They scheduled me to another location in Keller later that afternoon. Fine. I call to confirm the appointment, and customer service tells me that I'm good to go. I arrive, and the Keller location is CLOSED. The customer service at this dentist is atrocious. No respect for anyone's time at all. How did the scheduler not know that the Keller location was closed for the day?? The dental assistant who took my X-rays had no bedside manners. Not a single "Hello. How are you. Sorry this is taking longer than usual. " You could tell he did not like his job. The only good thing was the dentist herself. She was kind and thorough. I usually do not give poor reviews, but the way I was treated was unacceptable!

Negative experience: First appointment was great. Then I found out I was overcharged for a wisdom teeth procedure. The day of procedure, they did not provide me with all the info I needed to care for my mouth/teeth afterwards. I had to ask for gauze and for care instructions handout. No follow-up was scheduled because "I didn't need to unless I wanted to come in for a 30-minute follow-up" to see if my wound healed and there's no infection. I declined to go back to their office for any other procedure because of how they handled the billing issue and lack of proper care (2 of the bottom bone replacements were done and then I was told it's finished. BUT I paid for 5 bone graft replacements, which means a bone graft replacement for each wisdom teeth removed. I only have 4 wisdom teeth lol so the 5th one was an overcharge. I am now under the impression that I was only supposed to have done 2 bone graft replacements. Because I asked for a refund for the other 3, she came back and did a hurried job on the top two). I paid for everything using Care Credit in June 2024. Found they overcharged me and told them ASAP. As I write this in December, they have yet to solve anything. I had to dispute the issue with Care Credit who then did a charge back to Fossil Ranch. They started sending me emails, letters and calling me multiple times in a month to "collect a debt" all without fixing what I was overcharged for. They don't hesitate to ask you to pay BUT gave me the run around for almost 6 months to fix their mistake. I ended up paying exactly what I owed BUT not what they overcharged me for. I could write a whole lot more of what they did wrong. If you decide to visit this place, make sure you look at what you are being billed before you pay. Question everything because once the mistake is made, it takes a long time to fix.

Negative experience: This dental office has gone down the hill after its entire staff and dentists were changed. The new dentist tried to convince me to get crowns for my husband and me. The new dental hygienist is a joke. She was very ruff, and not detailed in cleaning. The new staff didn't seem to know about the history of the patients, so they tried to charge me a higher amount. I learned a limestone not to go with corporate practice. I just don't like to get introduced to new doctors and staff frequently.

Negative experience: It’s always been a hassle with their billing department and make sure before they do anything that it’s preapproved through my insurance or I asked them not to do it now they’re trying to charge me for x-rays that didn’t need to be taken I’ve had enough I’m moving onto a different dentist I called the office twice asked for the billing manager to get back to me they never did does this mean your billing manager is going to call me back? Needless to say I will not be paying that bill you should have the office manager who approved it that said the insurance was covered in the hygienist who told me that I am not responsible you are!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff very mindful of patients waiting for me took less then 5 minutes shay checked me in with an easy process too get seen by doctor sumathi they are always super friendly .

Negative experience: My husband was over charged for both visits and we are due a big refund. I have spent hours on the phone and in the office getting the run around. Please check your insurance EOB against what they charge you. I have never had any issues getting refunded when a doctor over charges me. The office manager at Fossil Ranch dental thinks it is a joke and she is not concerned if they over charge people hundreds of dollars, it doesn't seem to bother her at all. Filing a complaint with the Texas Dental board, next.

Negative experience: Less than two hours before my appointment time I was notified that they had to cancel my appointment. I work M-F and their offer for a replacement appointment could only be during those days. There’s a reason why I make my appointments for the weekend. Was hoping they were going to be good. Now I’m stuck finding another dentist instead.

Fantastic experience: Called today with an emergency and the office was able to fit me in. Staff were very friendly and the dentist was very knowledgeable. Would recommend Fossil Dental to anyone looking for great service.

Negative experience: A few months ago, I bought 2 sets of retainers and only received 1 set. I have been trying to get ahold of the orthodontist team, but they are extremely hard to get ahold of. I have called and gone in-person but have not been able to get a call back or reach them. I understand that they are only in that office once a week, but I have asked the front desk for them to please call me, and they never do. 2 stars because the dental care I have received has been great.
