Positive experience: Was checked in fast and taken into the room even faster. I didn’t wait more than a minute after the vitals were checked for the doctor to come in. I love that I can do my blood work there too. Overall a very positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Dora St. Clinic is always clean, Dr. Alvord is wonderful and a good dr. My only complaint is calling the main number you always get "I'm sorry all our operators are busy right now. Sometimes I have waited on hold for 20 minutes for some to answer.

Positive experience: Wasn't very happy about sitting in the exam room for over an hour because I was concerned I was going to miss my ride home in the medical van, especially after hearing that my PA was still 5 patients behind!!! There was absolutely NO WAY I would make it home if I had to wait longer to see her. Was absolutely thrilled I got to see Justin Ebert instead right away since I would be able to make it home & I had NEVER wanted to quit seeing him in the 1st place because HE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT ME because he had been my primary caregiver at the clinic for YEARS before he had to give up his practice to continue to run the clinics. I was VERY HAPPY after seeing him again & confident that I had been taken care of properly & actually knew what was going on even though learning I am getting another new health problem. The more doesn't ALWAYS mean merrier, when it comes to health! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH JUSTIN!!! It was great seeing you again & having the confidence that I was actually seen, heard & mostly know what's going on & I made it home !!!

Negative experience: My doctor chose to end a long-time prescription "WITHOUT" discussing it with me first❗️ You can't make an informed decision without knowing all of the facts of why I've had tha long-time prescription in the first place‼️ If I could give less than one star, I would because of my doctor's lack of communication skills that I unfortunately have just experienced. Communication is #1 in most lines of work, especially in the health field. I've had great experiences with my other health providers at HCHC.

Fantastic experience: Pamala is an Amazing woman one that has helped me through my daughters passing exactly 3 yrs 2 months ago. Pamala was my medical person that I went for my medical needs but unfortunately she went to the Ukiah Hill Side and I just couldn’t stay with anyone here in Willits area so I chose to move my medical needs to Ukiah were she is at now. Pamala is some one I look up to and respect :) I’m Always looking forward to seeing her on my next visits sadly it’s only every 3 months. Thank You Pamala for being you and listening to me Always ❤️

Fantastic experience: Currently seeing Pam the PA. Best experience with medical staff I’ve had in a while. Seen within 10 minutes of arrival. Came in with the intentions to discontinue my meds due to cost and ended up leaving with a solution to keep my meds with much lower cost. Thank you Pam!!

Positive experience: For 20 years I have been coming to Hillside and I have always had excellent care they listen to me recently I had the experience of a new doctor Who pushed Church on me and that sent me over the edge almost had me quit Hillside. But in general I will keep trying again and I have a new doctor to try they have always been great with me

Negative experience: I waited from December until end of March for an initial appointment (4 months), waited the entirety, arrived at the scheduled time, filled out paperwork, to have the assistant take my paperwork, and be met by the primary doctor who said unfortunately she was busy, running out of time and only had 15 minutes and could only do a physical (again I'd arrived on time), I told her my concerns and she said that she'd have to address everything next appointment, with the next appointment being another 2.5 months out. So approximately going on 7 months out without my needs addressed which is really horrible I feel like. That is so long. I need to take my concerns elsewhere out of town or to the Sunday clinic or something, I have to figure it out. Really disappointing because I was trying to take care of myself. I hope others can receive their care faster and feel their health is prioritized or find a prompter healthcare provider. :(

Negative experience: The doctor was pushing her fingernail down into my premature baby’s fingernail a couple times to inflict pain to “make him drink his bottle”. Also wanted him to eat 1oz every hour to eat 24 oz a day. He also needed sleep and was still learning how to even suck, swallow and breathe. I spoke with other doctors and NICU nurses that said how absurd and horrible this instruction was. Heartbreaking. My son is now thriving and I’ve never harmed him to force him awake to eat or forced fed him keeping him awake and over feeding him.

Negative experience: Terrible office! My husband saw the nurse practitioner Jacklyn Dodson and told her that he has back pain and pain that radiates down his left leg. He told her that he had a bone spur on the opposite “HIP” before THAT WAS CAUSING THE SAME KIND OF PAIN! and asked for a back and hip xray to rule out the hip bone spur and or a back injury. She gave a back X-ray and refused to give a hip X-ray to rule out a bone spur. Which WAS PRE-EXTING!!!!!! After the back result did not give reason for the pain she still refused to give a hip xray! She wouldnt give him anything for the pain during the day other than naproxen. Stating “I don’t give out narcotics” like naproxen will help my husband crying on the floor from pain!!! Are you kidding me And why not rule out a hip spur, before saying “go spend thousands of dollars on a specialist” if you done have to. Jaclyn is Inconsiderate, incompetent and downright rude. We had to deal with nurses the whole time after his appointment because she can’t give five minutes of her time to fix the situation. And us calling the office for results and asking for an xray was us “abusing the staff” That simple xray and meds would have been ordered if she was a doctor and not a scared inexperienced nurse practitioner. We are so disappointed with this visit and will never go back!

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and empathy I experienced with billing at this clinic. My child received a routine preventive visit and standard childhood vaccinations, and after insurance denied the claim I was left with a bill of over $1,100. When I contacted the clinic to ask if the charges could be reviewed or if there were any self-pay or adjustment options, I was told there were none and that the only option was a payment plan. I was also told that financial assistance is mainly available for patients who qualify for Medi-Cal or very low-income programs. Families who fall into the middle-income range can still face significant financial strain from unexpected medical bills, and it was disappointing that there were no additional options or willingness to review the charges. I hope the clinic considers offering more comprehensive sliding-scale options or self-pay rates so that families who do not qualify for Medi-Cal still have support.

The staff made me feel welcome and put me at ease. No judgment or uneasy feelings. It was very welcome to have such a great experience. I'm happy to say that my nerves will not get the best of me on my next visit. I'm thankful to have found such caring and kind people at the dental office of MCHC! Fantastic experience: Justin Ebert, PA & Medical Director, has been my provider for many years. I could not ask for better care and support through some very difficult health issues. I have recd'd very good but limited care, from both Behavioral Health and Care For Her. My only negative experiences were with Dr. Teran, who I saw when J. Ebert was unavailable. I also had several very unpleasant visits with Dr. Mucho in the Dental Dept. My negative experiences with these two MCHC practitioners should not influence anyone else's decision to see them. Dr.'s and Patients are a team and need to have trust and rapor with one another. I simply did not have that with these two Dr.'s.

Fantastic experience: Casey Johnston is the best Dr ever! I really love the lady that schedules dental appointments too. The system before was ridiculous. I was driving my kids to santa rosa because it was impossible to get an appointment. Whoever set her up in peds to make dental appointments was a really great move and is soo appreciated!

Negative experience: They only want you in and out to get paid. They tell you things like "we aren't here for that and we will have to come back to that because of the way the billing is done.. " My well being should not be sidelined because you are worried how to get paid for my care. I have double insurance and was still treated like I didnt matter. I requested a different doctor because the last doctor wouldn't listen to me. Then I get another one that barely speaks my language and just wants me out of there as quickly as possible. Then they didnt send my referrals and when I called today the doctor hadn't even finished my notes from the day before... the care in Ukiah is crazy. Nobody seems to actually care about you, just what insurance/money you can provide. I understand its a business but the bed side manner is just terrible here... I unfortunately don't have alot of options to go elsewhere in this town. Lack of good competition makes people able to treat you however... I dislike that very much!
