Experiencia negativa: Horrible service! Not going back. They have 1 dentist and 1 hygienist and can’t find anyone to work there. They are rushed, say you need all this work done, charge more than they should, and do crappy work. Had to have a crown done and the temporary tooth fell off on my way home and then I was supposed to be scheduled to get the crown seated and I wasn’t scheduled for the time on my card that she gave me and now the crown has become loose and there is something wrong with it. Now I’m having to pay more money to go elsewhere to get it fixed on top of other charges that could have been avoided by the clinic and wasn’t. A grievance will be filed with my dental plan!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Todd Porter mansplains and exaggerates the amount of work that needs to be done. He is the worst and we will not be going back to him again. He is new at this practice and it took one visit to figure out his MO. He treated me like I am dumb. My kids saw him twice and both times he told me they had 5+ cavities but before he came to the practice they only had 1 or 2 each time. My kids don’t have great teeth. He told me I needed a crown and he wouldn’t give me a teeth whitening kit until I got the crown. I go to the dentist every six months and the previous dentist never said anything about me needing a crown. So in 6 magical months, I needed a crown and between my 3 kids they had 12 cavities. I would love to know what practice spit him out and how he ended up at Pine Arbor.

Experiencia fantástica: We come back to specifically see Dr. Porter. We love the straight forward approach and the care that all of the staff provide for us. They also are very knowledgeable about how to care for our teeth outside of our time in the office as we are aging and the importance of more than just flossing.

The dental hygienist that I met was fantastic and the dentist herself explained to me after my cleaning. What issues I may have in the future. All in all the my visit was a five star.!

Experiencia negativa: I’m disappointed to say this was not a comfortable experience. The dentist seemed very rushed and focused on getting the work done quickly, which made the appointment feel sloppy and stressful rather than careful and attentive. The pace of the visit made me uncomfortable, and at one point things felt so rushed that her assistant was splashed with water while suctioning, which was awkward and concerning. Instead of showing concern or apologizing, the dentist laughed and commented that it would make a “perfect meme,” which made me feel even more uncomfortable and genuinely bad for the assistant. I was told my cleaning could not be done because it was “too much” and there wasn’t enough time or the proper tools, which was confusing and frustrating—especially since my appointment was specifically scheduled for fillings and preparation for a crown. I was also questioned about not having visited in a year, and when I explained that scheduling can be difficult as a working parent, the response about leaving children in daycare felt dismissive and unnecessary. As a mother, it was particularly disheartening to feel shamed rather than supported for how difficult it can be to prioritize your own healthcare when your children come first. I ultimately left with my medical records and will be finding another provider to complete my crown. I do want to note that the receptionist was very sweet and kind, and the dental assistant was professional throughout the visit. I’ve seen another doctor at this office before who was kind and professional, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I couldn’t wait to leave and felt more stressed than cared for by the end of the visit.

Experiencia negativa: Felt a little blindsided Dr. Amundson left, wish a heads up about her departure would have been sent out. New dentist is rough, pushed so hard on my tooth during exam the tool slipped and poked my tongue. He had awkward interaction and report with the hygienist. Almost felt a sense of talking down to me. Probably wasn’t intended that way, but the whole experience was enough to end my 15+yr tenure with the clinic. Will be moving on. Will miss the staff that treated my family for years.

Experiencia negativa: I really liked the dentist & hygienist I had the first time. This time was close to a nightmare. The hygienist has to be fresh out of school, kept hitting the same sensitive spot & when I asked if I could hold the suction in my hand instead of having it constantly in my mouth she told me that’s not how they teach you in school. She struggled to remember how to hold the cleaning instruments. The dentist came in with a light on his head so I could only see his silhouette. He was talking a mile a minute to the hygienist, barely looked in my mouth & then said ‘I’m Dr. Porter by the way.’ Then he left. I was told I have a cavity & no one asked if I had any questions. I’ve been told the female dentist I saw the first time is no longer there so I probably won’t be back

Experiencia fantástica: I love this Family Dentistry. They are detailed not only with our families teeth but they show the kind of care I desire by asking before they do anything. Such as X-rays, fluoride treatments, and fillings. They also double check with our insurance before we come so they are ready to have those detailed conversations with us. They are extremely respectful… without judgments.

Experiencia fantástica: I honesty love going to the dentist. Most of my life I've hated going to the dentist but Pine Arbor is different. Dr Amundson and her entire staff are amazing. I feel comfortable and know they care about me as a person. I can't speak highly enough about them. My wife and two children also love it there. My kids are spoiled, they dont know how great they have it there.

The repaired plates were returned the following day in better condition than they were. Lisa, my new dentist, receptionist, hygentist were all wonderful and very knowledgeable about my needs.
