Experiencia fantástica: First time here, I got off to a rocky start become I didn't have my insurance info. The staff was so patient and helped me navigate the issue. Once resolved, we got back to the cleaning room and Maria took care of everything. X-rays, cancer screening, checked my gums, cleaning, walked me through things I didn't understand, etc. Everything was done kindly and professionally. I was so impressed with my cleaning specifically because Maria has excellent attention to detail and took great care to be gentle and thorough. Would definitely recommend her. Additionally, Dr. Kim was great. She's wise, informative, and helpful. And gave me real insight on needed dental work and my options. I felt confident with her proposal and very informed. It's clear the staff love their jobs and each other. Overall, I give it a 10/10. I see myself being here for the long haul.

However, I am writing to share some feedback regarding a recent visit following the practice's change in ownership. During my recent appointment for a routine cleaning, I mentioned to the hygienist that I have periodontal pockets requiring deep cleaning. Unfortunately, the service felt rushed and incomplete. The appointment lasted only about 10 minutes, whereas cleanings with the previous team typically took around 40 minutes. The staff are capable and professional (and clearly up to date with current practices in their field) - but as some who gets really nervous going in to the dentist the really important thing is that they are kind, patient, and friendly every visit. They explain procedures and what they're doing as much or as little as I want, and regularly check in on my comfort during visits. When I do have concerns or questions, they listen and work with me to adjust care. Somehow they do all this without me ever feeling rushed or hurried.... and theyre still always on time!! Not only is the office as clean as can be--and the Covid guidelines followed to a T--you'll be cared for by the same wonderful team. (The only difference is that they're all behind masks.) It was so very good to go get my teeth cleaned on Tuesday. It was reassurance that some things in life never change.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk staff and the hygienist I saw were amazing. 10/10. The doctors, on the other hand, are ableist in my experience. Or at least Dr. Eun Kim was, who is the only doctor I can confirm was consulted about my dental health. I am physically disabled (combination of hypermobility complications and autoimmune stuff), and I've been to four appointments at this dentist office, the first and last of which had examinations with a doctor. The first time I was examined by Dr. Kim, who saw the consequences of my hydradenitis suppurativa and (despite informing her of the condition) tried to convince me that I might have herpes and that it could be contagious. Nevermind that this wouldn't have been an issue for her as long as she was wearing the required PPE. The last time, which was about an hour before writing this review, I was denied care because my blood pressure was too high? Nevermind that my pulse was low and steady, or that it the high BP was likely because of a combination headache and back pain, which I informed them about. I drove 30+ minutes to this appointment only to be told I needed to reschedule because of the doctor's paranoia. Don't know which doctor was scheduled to see me this time, but it kind of doesn't matter. Can not unrecommend this office enough unless you are a perfectly able-bodied person. Worst dental experience of my life. UPDATE: Was thinking of this review again due to receiving a bill from the office for hundreds of dollars suddenly for the like 6mo of claims. It all seemed legitimate, but I don't know why my insurance would pay claims from December 2025, February 2026 and April 2026 all on June 9th, the day I fired them. Except that they didn't file the claims until then ‍♂️ Glad I'm well enough off to drop $500 at the end of the month, otherwise this would have ruined my day. Also, I noticed that this business not only doesn't respond to anything but glowing reviews, but that they also respond to EVERY 5 star review. There are plenty of not-shady reasons for that—I'm not accusing them of bot farming—but it's indicative of the same insecure nonsense that led me to fire them. Engage at your own risk.

While the practice has changed hands, some of the trusted staff are still there and now, Dr. Kim as well. We love that we still get to see Nela, when we go in as she is a fantastic dental assistant. The staff treats us like family and we are happy with the treatment! Recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 Dentist. The front desk is super nice and they know their customers! I walk in and they recognize me and remember who I am and its very very good customer service. Its very easy to schedule appointments. Dr. Kim and Nela are incredible dentists, I've had to get many cavities filled and its painless every time. Recently they had to drill to the nerve on one tooth because the cavities were so big, but it was so painless that i was falling asleep! They put a lot of effort into caring for their patients and everyone provides excellent service.

Experiencia negativa: I’m so sad Dr Etheridge retired, he was wonderful. I had been his patient for many many years but definitely things have changed so much since he’s not there. In my last cleaning appointment with they declined to do any cleaning unless I accepted a “deep cleaning”, which I already get twice a year a my Periodontist. Instead of a regular cleaning they offered flossing ! This was ridiculous, I floss every night. I was so disappointed that they didn’t listen to me and didn’t care. I won’t be returning.

Experiencia negativa: I was always extremely satisfied with Dr. Philip as my dentist, but my experience with Dr. Eun Kim, who took over his practice, has been very disappointing. At my first appointment, she recommended replacing several crowns and a bridge. She replaced one crown, but the shade came out noticeably darker than the rest of my teeth. When I raised the concern, she did not address it directly and instead had her hygienist call me back. I was told there was nothing more she could do. She is not personable and, in my experience, she is not on your side as a patient. Because of this, I have decided not to return. If you are considering seeing the new dentist, please know that my personal experience was that she rushed and did not provide the same level of care or communication I had with Dr. Philip. Experiencia negativa: I’ve already had an unnecessary wisdom tooth removal and a deep cleaning done here, but now they refuse to do a regular cleaning unless I agree to their “suggestion” for a $3,000+ non-reimbursable surgery. I told them I’d consider it next year, but they still refused to see me. Honestly, just too many “suggestions” from this dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I moved to Seattle 4 years ago. We all needed a good dentist badly. I started digging into google “dentist near me. It was so hard. And then I noticed something from Dr. Etheredge’s about us: One of his staff retired. So? The between the lines were, she worked there since the practice open. Hmmm…. If the staffs is in good faith and never treated wrongly, the doctor must have done something right. And I looked at their Facebook, yelp, google reviews, Allllll good! So we gave it a try. My three grown up boys all love this place. One of my boy who’s in San Diego for school decided not to look further in San Diego, the front desk is so helpful keeping him on track. That’s what I called “GREAT SERVICE). And, to my surprise, a lot of their patients grew up, moved elsewhere for school, are all coming during summer and winter for their dental care! HUH!! For my 1 visit, Dr. Etheredge gave me a sixteen points check up, from teeth to jaw bone to chin, to neck. Wow!! He had to help me to remove a 29 year old crown way into the back of my mouth. He was extremely careful, kept asking if I was feeling alright. He said it was a very special metal compound that was very very sturdily mounted (I knew that), but, 29 years can do a lot to the gaps between my tooth and the crown. He removed, cleaned it up thoroughly, removed any cavity decay, tried to leave me some natural tooth so the new crown could grab on to for another 10+ years. He knew that I was timid toward implant, boy had he tried! The result was that my jaw didn’t feel strangled afterwards. Yeap! He was getting near his retirement, we went through his search of a new “great dentist” to take care of his loyal patients. I saw how he observed and guided 2 doctors, with the only concern in his mind, for the welfare of his lifelong family, his patients since day one through out! I Wa deeply moved! His hygienist Sandra was also wonderful, gentle (that I treasure), detail oriented, thorough, and so sweet! The front desk treats everyone as if we were their long term acquaintances, yet does the job right, courteous and efficiently. 2 thumbs up! 5 stars! Dr. Kim is the new Doctor, who’s had 20 years of experience, and is willingly joining this office, my boys had filling, routine cleaning up, post ortho cavity check, you name it! We are still in love with this office. I’m pretty sure you will too.

My teeth were in bad shape prior to my seeing him due to family predisposition to cavities, but he has repaired everything over the time I’ve been seeing him. Unfortunately, he sold his practice about a year ago and I understand he has now stopped working there. What a loss.

Experiencia negativa: I used to like Kirkland Dental Partners (mostly because Dr Phil is GREAT). Routine cleanings were smooth, and staff was generally friendly. But my recent experience left me frustrated and disappointed (seen by someone else other than Dr Phil). I came in with dental pain and was told it was likely due to grinding my teeth—despite not having a history of that. They recommended I get custom night guards (which felt like a hard sell), but I wasn’t convinced since the pain didn’t match the typical symptoms. I managed the discomfort with painkillers while waiting for the situation to improve. Eventually, I scheduled an emergency visit because the pain persisted. They ran the same tests again, only this time the dentist told me my bite looked fine, no obvious grinding, and suggested I see a specialist. When I asked why this contradicted their previous recommendation, the conversation suddenly shifted back to another pitch for a night guard—after just telling me everything looked okay. I declined and insisted on seeing the specialist first. I paid $100+ out of pocket for that emergency visit, only to have the specialist immediately ask, “Why did you wait so long to get this checked out?” I told them my dentist thought it was just grinding. Their response? A head shake. Bottom line: I left with the sense that selling products might be more of a priority than giving accurate, timely care. I wish I had been referred to a specialist earlier, instead of spending time and money chasing the wrong diagnosis.

We are all very happy with them. The hygienists are fabulously talented and friendly. The women at the front make you feel like family... seriously! We've been going for 6 years.

From the moment I walked into the facility the front office staff so kindly greeted me in a way that took the edge and nervousness off from having to go to the “Dentist”.
