Experiencia fantástica: I did laser surgery treatment at this clinic on March. My periodontal disease had caused five of my teeth to become so loose that they were on the verge of falling out. I frequently suffered from nerve pain and swollen gums. I had previously tried antibiotic therapy and root canal treatments, but these provided no lasting relief. Over time, I consulted with five different periodontists; surprisingly, the periodontist at several different chain clinics turned out to be the very same person. Her attitude was extremely cold and impatient; she offered no explanations regarding dental procedures or technical details, instructing me instead to communicate solely with the front desk staff and assistants. She even completely ignored issues related to my insurance claims. I was not only deeply disappointed but also gravely concerned about how she might be treating other patients, as she appeared to lack even the most basic professional medical ethics. Many of the doctors I consulted had simply recommended extracting my teeth and replacing them with dental implants. I spent three years searching for an effective treatment solution, and after conducting extensive research, This year, I found Dr. Shin. She is highly professional, warm, and patient; she thoroughly diagnosed my condition, proposed a laser surgery treatment plan, and continued to follow up on my recovery progress even after the procedure was completed. I am extremely satisfied with the care I received and am grateful that she upholds such high medical ethical standards. I hope that many more patients in need of help will be able to find her.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff handled a complex problem expeditiously, frequently asking how I was doing. The pain relief that they provided during the procedure was effective. Their instructions for aftercare, provided orally and in writing, were clear. Prescribed for antibiotic was transmitted promptly to my pharmacy and was ready when I went to pick it up.

Could not explain clearly treatment options or expected outcomes. They may have skills but I did not walk away feeling like I would have been in safe competent hands. Just to note, I did not use my real name for this review so the claim of the practice that I was not a patient is false.

The prior graft he had done elsewhere failed and Dr. Chen was honest in that prior to the surgery he said if he can place the implant he will but if not he will repeat the grafting. Grafting had to be repeated as the bone loss was extensive. He called that night to check on him. When I went to Dr. Ginsberg found he is absolutely different. He is very honest, very knowledgeable, and very experienced periodontist. A year ago, I had a laser surgery in his office due to gum sensitivity that I was suffering from. After this surgery my gum dramatically improved. Every time I visit him, he does a thorough oral examination to make sure there is no more deterioration in my oral health. He and his office’s staff are very professional and striving to make their patients happy. He is now definitely my permanent periodontist.

This amazing group stands out because of the people who work here and their kindness and expertise. I had a tooth extraction performed by Dr. Batalias yesterday. She was very thorough in explaining what to expect and kept me informed throughout the procedure. She and her assistant, Theresa, were so kind and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time.
