Experiencia negativa: Ugh! Don’t get me started. Was impressed at first visit. That lasted only one visit. Telephone queries take forever for someone to get back to you. They don’t accept your secondary insurance but keep the money you submit for from the secondary insurance and it took over two years to get it back from them. Even so, they found something to charge me for two years later and kept some of my reimbursement money. Don’t be fooled by their welcoming demeanor on your first visit. It’s a strategy to ensnare you and your money, cash or insurance. Also, research the longevity of their options with what is really better for you in the long run.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs I took my wife to this periodontist to treat a cyst, but the entire experience was a nightmare. Initially, the doctor claimed that a deep cleaning was required to address the issue. We trusted his advice and went through with the treatment, which cost us $2,000. Despite the cleaning, the cyst didn’t go away. During every follow-up visit, we repeatedly told him that the cyst was still there, but he kept dismissing our concerns, saying it would go away with time. On our fifth visit, after a long gap because the cyst hadn’t improved, he suddenly recommended another expensive treatment—a laser surgery to cut the cyst and clean the area again. When we questioned why the initial treatment (deep cleaning) didn’t resolve the cyst as promised, he blatantly lied to our faces, claiming we hadn’t come for the cyst in the first place! This was absolutely outrageous and insulting, given that addressing the cyst was the entire reason for our visits. To make matters worse, the total cost of these treatments has already reached $2,000, with no resolution to the original problem. This doctor is dishonest, money-hungry, and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise anyone reading this to stay far away from this practice. Save your time, money, and peace of mind.

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly I just had the most incredible gum grafting experience, and I hope my review will help someone out there that is going through something similar. For some background info, I have a severe overbite - my upper front teeth will cover all of my front bottom teeth when I close my mouth and so around ten years ago (yes you read that right ten whole years) I had some gum recession start on my front left lower tooth, which eventually spread to my lower right tooth, and over the decade it receded down...down... down until I had no gum at all in front of my lower left, and a little bit over my lower right. Then there was the sensitivity, ohhh my the sensitivity... it was all I could think about day in and day out, I stopped smiling as much, my mental health got worse, I couldn't physically ignore it anymore, I had to make a change. I started my search and landed here because of how many great reviews Dr. Williams had and I want to spread the word and leave another one because there are not enough words in the dictionary to express just how happy I am right now. The consultation to surgery timeline was very quick for me, they had an open slot the same week and I took it. I knew what I needed and I knew from all the stellar reviews that if Dr. Williams couldn't do it, nobody else could - and let me tell you, the gum graft Dr. Williams did for me is a work of ART! Very much worth every single last cent I paid for this and I MEAN that. What I really loved (as someone who is a chronic over thinker) is the very detailed instructions that I got post op and at each check up. It was super clear at each stage what I should, and should not be doing, what you can eat, how to brush, when to apply any sorts of gel, or ice packs etc and how often, and if you aren't sure about something you could always call and ask and they will get back to you very quickly with answers. Aside from my awesome new beautiful gums, I have no sensitivity in those teeth anymore, I smile more often now, I don't think about my teeth day in and day out. That's right! I can finally move on, my only regret is literally not taking care of this sooner, because - simply put - I was afraid... but Its very easy to be, every graphic you see online, every picture you see during the healing process, looks very painful and very scary. I will not lie and say it was inherently painless because its surgery, and its in your mouth - but its truly not bad, what I was living with was way worse. Biggest take away here; Stop looking at images on google and reddit, stop putting it off, and call to schedule your appointment, like right now... yes like.. right now...Pick up the phone!! I genuinely didn't realize just how much this issue was actually affecting me and my mental and physical health, don't put it off any longer. Dr. WIlliams and his staff are absolutely phenomenal and they will take care of you so as long as you are ready to take those steps to take care of yourself. It wasn't too late for me, and I'll bet it isn't too late for you too! Your future self will thank you :) ...and most importantly, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH DR. WILLIAMS!!! You gave me my smile back and I am eternally grateful for that!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Dr Williams, for some necessary periodontal work. My biggest concern was pain while getting the work done. I’ve had very painful experiences, so I’m quite leery. Dr. Williams promised a pain-free experience. In the past, the pain from the lidocaine injections is blinding. Usually the anesthetic wears off during procedures and I’d have to be injected again. Not with Dr. Williams. The “pinch” from the injection, was really a pinch. I didn’t feel a thing but pressure, not a lick of pain. I didn’t need to be injected again (that’s big). So far, so good. I’ll come back without all the apprehension with which I walked in today. Update. I’ve had my work almost complete. I will say, I’m extremely pleased. I’ve been to dentists where I’ve felt they were trying to rob me. I never got that feeling. They worked with my insurance and told me in advance what I would pay. When my pocket was ready, more work got done. I would definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I felt hustled at Dr. William’s office. I visited his office after my dentist suggested I should have a periodontist take a closer look at my receding gums. He and his staff made me feel like I urgently needed to get a gum grafting procedure due to the gum recession and what he said was bad bacteria in my mouth that was causing the issue and that would need to be cleaned out. So I forked over half of the very sizable deposit for it on the spot so I could hold a date on their schedule to get it done - the way they made me feel, I thought my teeth might fall out if I didn’t get this procedure done quickly! I did confirm I could get a refund before I gave the deposit. Feeling uncomfortable with that decision almost immediately, I decided to get another opinion from a different periodontist. After he examined me, this 2nd periodontist said I did not need the procedure at all and that bacteria does not cause gum recession - grinding and clenching do. I called Dr. William’s office back and was able to get a refund (they don’t offer instant refunds - it takes 7-10 business days, which is annoying). I did not like the way I felt after my interaction with Dr. Williams and his staff. Always get a 2nd opinion and don’t make rash decisions when it comes to your health.

Experiencia negativa: I went to Dr. Williams for periodontal cleaning. This required two visits... one patient orientation and one for the services. In the first visit I was charged for a microscopic service. Six weeks later at the time of myperio cleaning appointment, Dr. Williams still had not shared the findings of the procedure. He had found time to schedule three additional services that he had not found the time to speak with me about. It's clear where his priorities are...upselling services to patients. If you want someone who does not communicate and just wants you to let his office do what he puts in your chart, Dr. Williams is the periodontist for you. If you want a health care provider who communicates findings and involved you in treatment plan decisions, look elsewhere.

When I needed oral surgery again, I was scared but Dr. Williams and his staff were professional and explained of everything including post-follow up. It made for a pleasant experience.

Experiencia negativa: A financial nightmare. This company charged me upfront and overshot the amount by over 20%. Half of my visits may as well have been a phone call. Consisted of "any pain or discomfort? No? Okay we'll see you in three weeks" before they billed me over a hundred dollars with no actual commentary or even examination. I finished my treatment over 3 months ago. I still have not been refunded despite 12+ emails and calls. Would never recommend or return.
