Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Pojtek is extremely knowledgeable and capable and her staff is about the most competent I have every seen. Seriously, I have never seen an office run so smoothly. I've never had to wait because they were backed up and I've never felt like they were hurrying me through to keep or get back on schedule. It's a unique experience for any medical office. They go out of their way to let you know that you matter to them. I have never had to introduce myself, despite only seeing them every six months, they address me by name when I walk in and tell me I'm already checked in. Also, they have also never tried to sell or upsell me on anything but are willing to answer questions about products and discuss options if you bring them up. All in all 10/10. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pojtek and her staff.

I’m not usually one to leave feedback, but I had to express my gratitude for the outstanding service at Riverview Family Dentistry. This review will be long, but it’s worth it. I had a great experience in three areas: First, the lady at the front desk was exceptional. She was kind to me from the first phone call. My spoken English isn’t perfect, but she was so supportive and patient, understanding my needs and quickly setting up my first appointment. She explained the entire process to me very well. Secondly, another lady assisted me with the payment. She explained everything clearly, with no hidden fees. I felt really comfortable with her. And finally, Dr. Martha! Oh my God! I spent the last two years struggling with a problem that made me very uncomfortable. My teeth would bleed a lot for no reason, and I had bad breath despite being hygienic and brushing regularly. But brushing wasn’t enough, and they discovered I needed a deep cleaning. Dr. Martha took all her time and patience to perform the deep cleaning. Despite my fear of dental tools, she was so supportive. Now, I’m really satisfied—both of my issues have been resolved. Last year, I had three cleanings with three different dentists but found no solution. But after Dr. Martha’s work, no more bleeding, and my mouth now smells like strawberries now. LOL Thank you, Riverview Family Dentistry—the best in the Tampa Bay Area!

Experiencia fantástica: While in Florida I had a problem with my gums. I found Dr, Sandra's info on the Resurrection Church bulletin and called to make an appointment. They were able to see me in a timely manner. The staff was all very pleasant and Dr. was able to quickly diagnose the problem and sent me to a specialist which was necessary to fix it. Tiffany called the specialist directly from the office so I could get in quickly. Everything went very smoothly and Dr. Sandra's compass, care and willingness to work with insurance was amazing. My husband does not mine having dental work done, but I have always been terrified from previous traumatic experiences and although starting off here I was nervous, I now look forward to my visits. Dr. Pojtek is very attentive and patient & she has always listened to my concerns and answered any questions I’ve had.. she also never made me feel bad for being overly anxious while getting work done, instead she talked me through every step and always takes a moment to make sure I am ok, which means everything to me! Not to mention she is the only dentist that has actually helped me with the ongoing problems I was having for years that no other dentist could figure out. The staff is amazing! Especially our girls Gabby and Alicia at the front desk. The communication is always on point, and they always contact us immediately with any changes and updates. This office is like family to us now & we are really going to miss them when we move!

They make time to see you if you have a dental emergency. Dr. Pojtek is very sweet and has gentle hands and she puts you at ease with her calm voice. The Dental hygienist are very good they take their time cleaning your teeth and giving advice on how to take care of them. Experiencia negativa: I walked in about two weeks ago to make an appointment at which time I gave my insurance 800 number and ID to the receptionist and explained that I did not have my insurance cards yet, and she did not tell me that this would be an issue. The office text me the very next day to confirm my appointment so I assumed they had verified my insurance. I received a text reminder of my appointment two days ago for my appointment today, and nothing more from this office stating any issues with verifying my dental insurance. Like most people, I had to take time off from work for this appointment, and when I arrived they claimed they could not find my insurance anywhere, claiming they "plugged in my ID number in and nothing came up" and also told me I would have to pay out of pocket, which is not legal when you have insurance. I asked if they called the 800 number I gave them, and the receptionist just kept claiming the ID number I gave them resulted in nothing in their system, and I asked again if she called the 800 number I gave her and she would not answer me. The receptionist told me she needed the actual name of the insurance I told them I got insurance through the market place/obamacare and that all she had to do was call the 800 number gave her along with my insurance ID number on the day I walked in and made the appointment. If she had called the number, they would be able verify my insurance, I even said "EMI Health." and she acted as if they never heard of them then excused herself and went to the back office. Then another woman came out, and in her passive aggressive and sassy tone of voice said the same thing to me and added "we don't accept Obamacare..." to which I said, "I have no idea what the name of the insurance company is if you don't, I don't have the cards, I thought it was EMI Health (which I just confirmed myself that it is), that I applied through the marketplace," and again that don't have the insurance cards but I had already given the receptionist the 800 number when I made my appointment in person along with my insurance ID and assumed this was all confirmed prior to my appointment. I said for a third or fourth time that all they had to do is call the 800 number I already gave them. Since I thought this was all already confirmed I didn't bring that information with me. It is their job FOR THEM TO CALL and verify my insurance. I can give your office the information, I can't do their job for them. The staff refused to call the 800 number prior to my appointment, and again refused to do so at my appointment, pretending they didn't already have that information. I said that this appointment was confirmed, and I got a reminder of my appointment, and the woman then claimed she tried to call me yesterday to discuss this issue. I told her never received a call or message from anyone from their office that they were unable to verify my insurance so their claim is not true. What is true is they failed to do their job. The woman then slaps a post it pad in front of me and says I need to give her the 800 number THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE IN THEIR SYSTEM with my insurance ID. I pushed the pad off the desk that she rudely put in front of me and I said AGAIN that I already gave them that information, then she played victim and told me she "needed me to stop throwing things at her." Throwing things at her?! Wow. Proof of insurance and a letter will be going directly to the owner of this office and this review is left so that they can be made fully aware of areas they can better train their staff and not be rude to patients causing them to lose time off from work without being able to be seen. This office and ownership need to hire people that do the work necessary to run the office appropriately and efficiently and who don't feel entitled to behave like "mean girls" when called out. Any fees you try to charge me for not being able to be seen at this appointment due to the failures of your own staff, I will be contacting the ADA and State Attorney's office. Update: Response from "owner" is laughable.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely phenomenal! I had a lot of trauma from childhood from needing to visit the dentist on multiple occasions. This kept me from going as an adult. Needless to say, this dentistry took all of those fears away and from start to finish were absolutely phenomenal. From the ladies in the front to everyone in the back, Riverview family dentistry will be my family dentistry for many years to come! :)

She works with your budget and doesn’t recommend a $1200 crown for every single tooth problem. She’ll try her best to actually do a filling first.!!! My wife and I 100% recommend this office. Also, Sonalee is the sweetest, most caring assistant we have ever met, her warmth is so obvious the moment you meet her. We will be patients forever.

I don't think I've ever found a doctor's office staff to be as kind, considerate, and efficient as her staff. You can tell they love their job and always have a smile on their face. 2. Dr. Pojteck is always super upfront about what needs to be done and what can wait due to any financial restrictions I may have coming up. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of 3. I used to have a thing against going to the dentist. I've never had a really positive experience and the last time I had gone, prior to meeting Dr. Pojteck and her team, had been over a year before Covid. They were so kind and caring about the fact that I have a slight fear of the dentist. They were gentle and when they couldn't be (like something was going to hurt), she was always understanding and would offer solutions like more Novocain. 4. Their hygienist is very very thorough and detailed. She's also quick. 5. The cost of services is way less expensive than I thought it would be. I have insurance but because I'm trying to catch up on my cleanings I missed, I've been scheduling cleanings every 3-4 months. Unfortunately for me, my insurance only covers 2 a year. Fortunately, the out-of-pocket cost of the teeth cleaning was less than $60. Not a bad price to pay at all. I've referred my husband, my in-laws, coworkers, and friends to Dr. Pojteck. Riverview Family Dentistry really is the best dentist I've ever been to. I will continue to sing their high praises to anyone that needs the services.

Experiencia fantástica: 2023 Another trip to this office for a cleaning, and another pleasant experience. I never get stuck in the waiting room here and the staff are always kind and respectful. My X-rays, cleaning, and exam were quick and painless. A++ 2021 Today marks my 5th visit with Dr. Pojtek, and as always, the customer service, bedside manner, quality of work, and proficiency of this office was excellent. 2018 I've always had issues with dentists treating me like just another number, even being pressured into treatments without getting a cleaning first. When I came to this office the staff was very friendly, almost no wait time, the Dr. explained what she was doing, and I felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office.

Gaby’s cheerful voice answered the phone and she made me a same day apt the first time coming. Since then it is always great walking in and seeing her amazing smile and always making me feel welcome. Experiencia negativa: I had a bad experience on my first visit and so I bit my tongue and decided to give it another try for my 6 month follow up cleaning. My hygienist was so rough with the water pick again and now I’m currently having a lot of pain around my gums near my dental implant..6 hours later. Not over exaggerating. I’ve never had this happen and thought the first time was just a fluke. Honestly, the practice feels like an in-and-out kind of place and there is no way I would go back.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is absolutely amazing! I called n said I was a new patient with an emergency,they offered me an appointment within the hour! When I arrived they where very friendly n comforting! I had n abscess n needed to take antibiotics before she could work on it! They scheduled an appointment a few days later, I had a big cavity also n she didn’t know if it could be filled, of course she did a great job at filling it! A few days later she was going to remove the tooth with abscess but instead the tooth healed well enough to save! She saved both teeth n didn’t try to upswell. This business is awesome she does great work! And to top it off all the girls are young helpful and beautiful! Daniel Koehler

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment scheduled for Friday Jan. 6th @ 3pm, for an exam, x-rays & a possible standard cleaning, I was quoted $150 since I don’t have insurance, which was fine. The appointment was scheduled for a minimum of 3 weeks & I informed the receptionist that at the time of the appointment I’d be 8 1/2 months pregnant & asked if that made a difference to my appointment, she told me that it didn’t, & the only time it possibly could is if I needed to receive a deep cleaning then I *may need to get a clearance from my doctor. After receiving two different text confirmations for my appointment the receptionist calls me the day of my appointment at 2pm, so 1 hour before I was suppose to be there to tell me the hygienist is requesting that I get clearance from my doctor or they won’t see me. Honestly just really disappointed since I’ve used this dentist a few times before & had really great experiences. As a professional I would like to believe that you look at your schedule when you come into work to see who & what procedures you have for the day in the event something like this comes up to at least give clients enough time to get what your requesting.

Experiencia fantástica: I am new to the Riverview area and was looking for a dentist I could trust and feel comfortable around as I have pretty bad dental anxiety. I had a wonderful experience with the receptionist, hygienist, and the dentist at Riverview Family Dentistry. The cleaning was thorough and both the hygienist and dentist listened to my concerns and were great at communicating and explaining their findings and recommended treatment plan. I felt like they truly cared about me as a patient and my dental health and took my opinions into consideration. I’m very happy I chose to go here and look forward to making this my primary dental office moving forward. I have also already recommended a few friends who are also new to the area to try out Riverview Family Dentistry.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me start out by saying I have HIGH dental anxiety and wreak havoc at pretty much every office I’ve ever been to. Sandra is by far the nicest, most PATIENT dentist I’ve seen in my 31 years and I genuinely trust her clinical judgment. Her staff is very nice and knowledgeable as well. I never wait long either. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I really wish I could give zero stars. Had some service’s done at this office gave me an estimated price of $98. Now here it is almost 6 months later and I’m getting told that I need to pay $460. Because the office chose to do something that my insurance did not approved. So basically I’m paying for their mistake! Save yourself some time and money and do not do business with these crooks.

I went in for a first time visit this past Saturday , everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist were so friendly and informative. I waited less than five minutes to get seen and they got right to it once I was in the dental room. Will not be going anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: Front desk staff is above and beyond in kindess. Hygienists are so kind and patient with family of small children. Easy to schedule/reschedule. And of course the dentist is so personable. My only critique is that this wonderful staff rarely introduce themselves so I can't give credit since I don't know their names.

The receptionist called me by name on my second visit like she’s known me forever and the hygienist and dentist are so kind and took my preferences into consideration in my treatment. So happy to have my new forever dental office! Oh and they’re so close to home!! SCORE!

There was some misinformation regarding my insurance coverage and the insurance decided not to pay for the services for myself, my wife and my kids. The Dentistry decided I was not at fault and decided to write off the loss instead of fighting me or the insurance to recover the cost. This type of ethical behavior in business in not common and should be applauded.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Staff and Dr. Pojtek was excellent with my daughter. We went into the office as an emergency due to my daughter having a broken molar. Everyone made my young daughter feel safe and brave. The procedure was done in 30 minutes.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m terrified of going to the dentist and this is the first place I went in 6 years and they were amazing did a filling for me and I didn’t feel a thing all the girls in here are so sweet! Will definitely be going back!

Experiencia fantástica: So this was my first time here and I loved how I got my teeth cleaned without having to come back as it usually has happened in the past. They were welcoming and very communicative. Explained everything as they went along. The hygienist has a lot of experience and again very compassionate with my needs. I have to be honest that I am not a big fan of dentist and I’ve been through a few hence me not being at one for almost a year since I was at a different dentist. It’s still early as I have more work to be done but if I had to go off on first expressions I would say they met my expectations.

Everyone was friendly and the work was great as well. I will be returning and recommending anyone in need of a new dentist.
