Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a consultation and cleaning appointment this morning. A few hours later, while I was in a work meeting, I received a voicemail canceling my appointment. The reason given was that their office manager reviewed my case and determined they didn’t want to work with a patient who planned to use a prosthodontist for implant work. When I called for clarification and specifically asked for a clinical reason why this was an issue, the receptionist repeated the same answer, that the dentist offers all of that in-house and didn’t want to coordinate with a prosthodontist. No clinical justification was ever provided. I was then told the office manager would be available tomorrow if I wanted further explanation. This practice cancelled a first appointment before ever meeting me because I wouldn’t be a full-service patient. There is no clinical reason a patient using a specialist for implant work cannot receive cleanings and fillings at a general dentist. This was a purely business-driven decision that was never honestly acknowledged as such.

My hygienist is Ashley and she is awesome. I have been doing everything she recommended since my last cleaning and she told me that it made a huge difference this time. I live right in Manchester and there are dozens of dentists in the area that I could go to I will continue to go here because the people and quality of service is second to none! Update 8-28-23 I went back for my regular cleaning and they are still knocking it out of the park. Very professional and informative, answered all of my questions gave me advice so I can take better care of my teeth the best way possible. Ashley has always done my cleanings. She is gentle and explains everything she is doing and does a fantastic job. Their entire staff are friendly and dedicated. I feel very comfortable going here and I am so glad I finally found this practice. I was always fearful of going to the dentist and avoided it for a long time. I wish I had found Radiant Smiles of Rocky Hill many years ago! Now I look forward to going because I know I can trust them and I am taking better care of my teeth and my health. I highly recommend them. Update: 3-6-24 I went in today for my 6-month cleaning with their new hygienist Megan. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable and gentle. She made several suggestions to help improve my dental health. This is a professional, caring and thorough dental office and I highly recommend them. Update:9-16-24 I just had my cleaning done again by Megan. She is very knowledgeable and caring. Extremely careful and asked me lots of questions about my brushing routine. I'm so glad I found this dental office. I used to dread going to the dentist and it made me nervous. Now I actually look forward to going. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially those who are fearful of going to the dentist or have had bad experiences in other places. Keep up the great work!! Update: On 11-4-25 I had my annual 6 month cleaning. It was with a hygienist that I haven't had previously and I don't remember her name, but she was very gentle ask me questions about my dental cleaning routine and did a great job. All the staff here are very professional, knowledgeably and caring. As I mentioned previously, I am from Manchester and it's a 30-minute drive to get here during rush hour traffic but totally worth it!

Together with his team of experienced specialists and office staff at Radiant Smiles, they make a visit to the dentist as pleasant as possible. And since the most important thing to me is that my dentist and hygienist are as competent and thorough as possible whenever I go for my 6 -month cleaning and check-up I am confident that's exactly the kind of service I expect and get every time I go. The best proof I can give you of their Expertise is that I'm over 70 years old, have ALL of my original teeth except the wisdom teeth, and I would never consider going anywhere else. IMHO, Radiant Smiles is simply THE BEST!

Experiencia negativa: If I could post ZERO STARS I WOULD. They charge $150 non refundable deposit for cancellations with 24 notice, I gave more than 24 hours notice. My appointment was at 1pm, it’s 10:37am. Office manager was very polite when I called to book the appointment but when I called to reschedule with more than 24 hour notice, the office manager was very rude and informed me I was “wasting the doctor’s time.” I called to reschedule and had an extenuating circumstance, asked for a one time courtesy. They would not budge. Demanding $150 nonrefundable fee to reschedule. They don’t remind you about appointments, the office manager told me “it was my responsibility”. THEY RESCHEDULED ME ANYWAYS without MY CONSENT. I got a confirmation text from the reschedule right away. Even though they said they don’t send out confirmations. I had to call a SECOND TIME at 10:31am to cancel the appointment they made WITHOUT MY CONSENT, they didn’t answer, conveniently. I left a voicemail. BEWARE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. The business is very misleading. THEY MAKE UP THEIR OWN POLICIES , VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Why would I see a dentistry practice for jaw pain, when this experience was so aggravating, they gave me jaw pain!!!! STAY AWAY! They only want your money!!!!!!!

After X-rays were taken Dr. Michalski through his assistant gave me a referral to save the teeth in question. Which I have done by making an appointment with the office he referred me to.
