Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Dr. Diane Pham, DMD, for over four decades. I met her when she began practicing in Old Town, Alexandria. I followed her to Vienna when she opened her own practice, Capital Esthetics and Family Dentistry. Dr. Pham has since been recognized as a top dentist in the DMV by several magazines. I recommended her to a friend who lives in Oakton and he and his wife have been very pleased with her care. Her practice is about four times as far from my home, but it's well worth the drive.

Regardless of practicing high standards of personal dental hygiene, I confronted the realities of a genetic deficiency… thin gum tissue. Resultant progressive recession of gum tissue slowly exposed the margins of my dental roots. Earlier opinions, solicited from a progression of several dentists, provided only confused and conflicting remedies. However, over more recent years, having become justifiably pleased with the consistently high quality of dental care administered by Diane H. Pham, D.M.D. at Capital Esthetics & Family Dentistry of Vienna, I sought to revisit possible treatments for my deteriorating gums. Addressing my specific concerns, Dr. Pham and her entire competent staff proved to be highly professional, friendly and responsive to all of my dental needs. After first carefully evaluating and treating some of my more minor periodontal issues, Diane Pham took time to carefully consider and explain to me all of the various available options for correcting my serious gum condition. With the coordinated assistance of a skilled oral surgeon, targeted gum skin grafts were planned, pursued and successfully effectuated. Combined with a few state-of-the-art dental veneers, artistically designed and artistically crafted by Dr. Pham (with the assistance of a high-tech local dental prosthetics laboratory) a beautiful, balanced and natural looking smile returned to my face. But here I felt at ease and the process was exceedingly comprehensive. Afterwards, we discussed a treatment plan (I inquired about some minor cosmetics improvements as well). I've seen two hygenists and both were great at answering questions and proceeding with care during dental cleanings. It is not a high tech office like some I've been to in the past (no TVs or headphones to distract you while in the chair) but they are very good at the services that they provide.
