Dixwell Dental

Experiencia fantástica: New patients to this facility and I am highly impressed with the amazing customer service my family and I received!! Clean environment , friendly and respectful staff and it felt great to feel so welcomed by the receptionist Michael!! He was truly a great help to our family.

Experiencia positiva: Michael, the receptionist, was so helpful and very welcoming. Elba, the dental hygienist gave great advice, and was so caring. Also, thank you to Dr. Neal!

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked in I was impressed!! Especially because of how difficult it can be to find a good dentist. It was very clean, modern, and there’s even TV screens on the ceiling for while you get your work done. The doctors and assistants and all were extremely friendly and helpful, super non judgmental, and really took their time to thoroughly explain to me what my situation was. Best dental experience I’ve ever had!!! I highly recommend coming here- ESPECIALLY if you’re someone with lots of dental anxiety!

Experiencia fantástica: Great service! Wonderful staff. My family of 5 has been going to Dixwell dental since they opened. We have nothing but the best experience with Dr. Joshi and staff at every interaction. Dr. Joshi is very professional and knowledgeable. And his entire staff is very helpful and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my first visit to Dixwell Dental office, and I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Jorhi had an excellent bedside manner that made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The office was clean and welcoming, with easy parking. Overall, the service was outstanding, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental care.”

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dentist, staff, and environment. 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I was honestly shocked by my experience today because I chose to go to Dixwell Dental for the first time because of the great reviews of Dr. Joshi that I saw on Google Reviews. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day, but I had a really negative experience. I went for a dental exam and cleaning but somehow the entire interaction with Dr. Joshi was just a few minutes long. He barely examined my teeth, did not share the results of my x-ray, and did not inform me of anything wrong with my teeth (even though I know I have cavities that I havent gotten filled before). The cleaning portion truly just didn't happen and when I asked for a spit cup, I was completely ignored by Dr. Joshi and his assistant. Truly astounding to not even respond to a patient who is directly speaking to you? I also currently have cold sores and let them know and yet they were very forceful with the bite wings and I let out a yelp in pain and had to advocate for myself to ask them to change the xray method. The front desk staff (I think his name was Mike?) was super friendly and I have no complaints there. Overall, super dissatisfied and would not be able to recommend Dr. Joshi to others. P.S. For any Gujarati-speaking patients who may be choosing to see him for the language preference, unfortunately he did not address me or respond to me when I tried to speak in Gujarati which is my native and preferred language.

Experiencia fantástica: Giving 5 stars because Dixwell Dental deserves it! The office is very clean and modern, and the staff is very polite and easy to talk to. I can tell Dr. Ro cares a lot about his patients. He is one of the most kindest, gentlest dentists I've ever had. If you need accommodations of any sort, the team will make sure to ask you beforehand and also during your appointment! Very good bedside manners, and very good at explaining treatment and plans. I would highly recommend checking this office out.

Experiencia fantástica: Me, my wife and daughter got our teeth cleaned at Dixwell Dental today. Dr Ro and all the technicians and the front desk lady were very professional attentive and kind. The service we received was excellent! I highly recommend Dixwell Dental for your dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Joshi was very thorough and I felt very at ease. Also, my dental hygienist was very helpful and gave me really great tips to help me take care of my teeth. Also, the receptionist is very welcoming and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Dr does great work!!! Highly recommended

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. R Joshi is very knowledgeable. He takes time to explain the x-ray and treatment. He is also kind and compassionate. The office staff and the hygienist work as a team for the good of their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Joshi did an excellent job cleaning my teeth! From the moment I walked in the front door everyone was really nice and helpful. This was the first time I actually felt comfortable going to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a wonderful experience here today. The doctor and assistant Mikaely were fantastic. Mikaely made me feel super comfy from the moment I walked in. I have an extreme fear of the dentist and was very vulnerable with her about some personal things in my life and there was zero judgement and I felt so safe in her care. The new receptionist Reyna out front was great as well. I will absolutely be referring people here!

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional and are always honest as to what is going on with my care. I would highly recommend. I have been a patient now for almost 5 years. They give a weeks notice reminder and a couple days before.

Experiencia fantástica: My visit was pleasant, everyone was nice and the customer service was a 10. The Dr. was helpful and informative

Experiencia fantástica: Only been here twice so far, but i had to come leave a review. Great Dentist. In and out with a cleaning in like 35 minutes. They have a good "bedside manor", and make sure your comfortable the entire time, and answer any questions you have, but they dont try and have small talk with you while they have their hands in your mouth.

Experiencia fantástica: Very Kind & pleasant with explaining the needs & treatments best for me I truly felt comfortable & confident that this was the best Dental /Dentist I’ve seen in a long time ….

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to dentists in Boston and on the CT shoreline and this was by far the best experience! Clean, efficient, friendly and was definitely not expecting the tvs above each chair. Recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Care! My dentist is very clear and carrying. Take your care here and stay away from corporate chains.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this dentist. I have been shopping for a new dentist because my old dentist was all about the money. The new dentist I tried had no warmth or anything about them, but I found the dentist. Michelle is awesome. The dentist was awesome. The hygienist everyone was so sweet and warm and awesome! Experiencia negativa: Wouldn’t recommend Invisalign here They didn’t help thru the process and never told me when my trays were over and one dentist left my tooth un even

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rohan Explained very clearly on what I need. Presenting honest options for different financial situations.

Experiencia fantástica: Legitimately one of the kindest offices I’ve been to. Dr. Joshi, the hygienist, and front desk are all great.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time here for a consultation. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Dr Patel has great bedside manner and explained everything to me in great detail. I would recommend Dixwell Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist that has your best interest at heart

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ro was amazing! Fixed a couple fillings and reduced a receded gum space that had been trapping food for years. He was so kind and gentle. Kept me informed of each step and always concerned about my comfort. He also did my cleaning! I am so thankful to have found this practice close to my home and in network for my insurance!

The staff here is extremely friendly. I wish I could give this 10 stars. Excellent overall will totally recommend to a family or friend

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit. Dr. Rohan Joshi was professional and gentle while cleaning my teeth. He was quick and made sure I was comfortable. Office management is very friendly I believe her name is Michelle. She greeted me by name and was attentive. I definitely recommend their services!

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my 1st visit, the staff was professional and kind , very calm tone while breaking down my exam. I will definitely return for future care.

Experiencia fantástica: They made me feel comfortable and reassured me on a lot of things I was very worried about. It was an overall positive experience and I don’t think I ever felt like that at a dentist office.

Experiencia fantástica: When I walked into the office, the greeter was very cordial and addressed me by name without me having to tell her . The office setting is welcoming and very clean. The dental assistant who took my X-rays was very professional and friendly. The doctor was OUTSTANDING!! He patiently explained everything in detail. He filled my cavity, without any pain. I will definitely be coming to Dixwell Dental for all future visits.

Experiencia fantástica: Dixwell Dental, absolutely amazing!! My first visit to Dixwell Dental was incredibly positive! I already knew basically everything that was happening and what the outcome would be but getting confirmation and especially support from a great dental team helped put me at ease! The staff was so welcoming and Dr. Rohan was patient and thorough, explaining everything clearly. I felt comfortable and well-cared for, and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. It looks like it’ll be a long journey from but with the support of Dixwell Dental’s team I think it’ll be worth it all!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've never been a fan of going to the dentist, even in my adult years but the experience I just had at Dixwell Dental was the absolute best. Dr. Ro, the medical assistant, and office staff were incredibly sweet and super accommodating. I must admit, I will now be looking forward to my dentist appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Fast and efficient. Easy to get scheduled quickly and was treated with excellent care.

Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t seen a dentist in a long time, so I was hesitant about getting checked up. Dr. Joshi and his staff made me feel so comfortable and safe in his care. He was incredibly efficient and told me exactly what I needed to know to take care of my teeth moving forward. 100% recommend this team. (I was even watching Great British Baking during the teeth cleaning on their patient room TVs!!!)

Experiencia fantástica: Been with Dixwell for a year or so now, Dr. Joshi and his assistant have always been very good communicators in my visits and always have a priority to make sure I'm at ease while they work. The facility itself appears very modern to me; they use some tech I hadn't seen at my previous dentists. For example, for a crown I needed, they had an "all in one" tool that very comfortably (in comparison to previous crowns) kept my mouth open while keeping my tongue trapped and vacuuming excess water out. Would heartily recommend this clinic to others!

Experiencia fantástica: They were honest about my teeth and all the work I need done. I suffer from extreme anxiety but they've been really nice, very helpful with telling me my options and the procedures that my insurance doesn't cover. Offering discounts which I appreciate. I haven't been to a dentist in awhile and they definitely helped me get over being afraid at my first appointment and putting it gently about what is starting to happen and what can happen if left untreated. I recommend coming here if you're like me and the dentist intimidates you. They didn't make me feel embarrassed.

Experiencia fantástica: Mike and Dr.Rowan were amazing! Quick and very friendly! 10/10 recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve recently started going here since May for a condition that happened. They took me in the same day and fixed my issue. I went back for a deep cleaning and honestly best decision ever! I’ve suffered from past experiences at other dentists and neglected my teeth for years because of anxiety/past trauma. I’m so happy I went back and look forward to my next appointment to complete my deep cleaning. Everyone is really nice and non judgmental. My dentist makes sure I’m ok all the way through.
