Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO! Simply ridiculous! After checking in, I waited for an hour before the Dentist saw me (didn't introduce himself, which is why I only refer to him as "the dentist"). I was there to get help with a retainer (I called beforehand, and they said they could help). They couldn't. Finally, when I convinced the dentist to help, the hygienist came back and told me it would cost $600! They planned to charge me "by the tooth." That's not a real thing. No other dentist charges "by the tooth." The dentist defended this insanity by saying he didn't set the prices and that he was just following the "ADA" (the American Dental Association does not set prices). They simply lied to my face. The entire thing was completely outrageous. They were just trying to take advantage of me and were constantly unwilling to take accountability. Thank GOD I did not let them touch my teeth. I have no faith in their credentials.

Experiencia negativa: Doctor Nasimov is an unprofessional "Dentist". Takes things to personal. RUDE. You can't give your opinion. He stares at his assistant with anger, and she looks afraid. Insisted that his patient wasn't in pain when the patient was clearly crying. I wonder why he wasn't allowed to sign the prescription paper? There are too many red flags.

If you have insurance they will keep over billing. I agree with other reviews the doctor is rude and short with patients. It's the worst dentist I have ever been to. Stay away

Experiencia fantástica: Daniel Nasimov was great!! Front desk was very kind, friendly and professional, saw how much discomfort I had and was able to get me in for same day visit. I have had horrible experiences with dentist and very of fraud of getting dental work. I’m definitely switching to this office. I went in with a wisdom tooth that had me unable o speak nor open my mouth. He numbed me up and got it out in under 15 minutes! Probably even quicker. His bedside manner is everything you want in a doctor. Very considerate and kind, especially if you have any anxiety! He checked in consistently through the whole procedure.

Experiencia fantástica: Prince St. Columbia Dental is the best dentist I have ever been to. Bear in mind I am old as dirt with genetically poor teeth and have been to PLENTY, including fancy boutique dentists in NYC. Daniel Nasimov (aka Nass), General Dentist, is a down to earth pro who is great at his job. He transformed my shriveled apple doll mouth. I now have a natural-looking smile. The fit is great, too. Typically with any dental appliance, you need to keep going back for adjustments, but mine grew more comfortable, not less. The office takes most insurance and if you are denied coverage for a procedure, they try resubmit and try to negotiate. I couldn't get every single thing covered, so I'll go back for more when I can afford to. The out of pocket prices seem fair and they don't try to upsell you. Ease of appointments is great. They don't overbook so you are in and out quickly. In nine visits, my longest wait was five minutes (sometimes they called me while I was still removing my coat. Parking is easy because Prince Professional Center has an attached lot, which costs $3. Shall I go on? Every person who works here is nice. It's like they think it's the 1970s. Nobody harangues you over whether you flossed as much as you claim or sighs theatrically and asks: how did let your mouth get into such a state? This is a pet peeve of mine. Dentists are expensive. How do they not know most patients have to triage competing health care needs before they can afford to talk in the door? Just treat me like an adult and fix my teeth! They still do that here.

Experiencia negativa: Doctor Nasimov should not be seeing any patients because he has an attitude, rude and maybe racist. He barely answers your questions and does it in a rude way. He doesn't like helping. He just wants to get the patients out so he can relax. I think they should really look into firing him and get someone else instead.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible, horrible, horrible! I went with my mother; she had a root canal with a crown done by a dentist there about two years ago. The crown came loose recently, and she was seen by a different dentist this time. This dentist was somewhat young, extremely rude and unprofessional. He made very rude remarks and refused to fix the crown. He asked my mother about what she “wants to get done” even though we came to the office seeking professional advice, and hopefully, have the crown secured in place again as was recommended by her regular dentist at a different clinic. Regardless, this dentist at Columbia Dental told my mother to go get another opinion and to “seek professional advice somewhere else” among other rude remarks. We clearly were racially discriminated against due to the dentist’s sudden change in behavior with us specifically. Very rude and unprofessional. Never going back there again, and definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Experiencia fantástica: Not even a month ago they discovered an infection and treated me w/antibiotics. Today I finally got not 1 but 2 teeth extract it. I feel so much better. Thanks a bunch to the whole team. Thanks for making me feel so much better. So happy to actually eat solid food for the first time in days.

Experiencia negativa: On July 30th, 2022 I called the New Haven, CT business number because I found out 1 tooth was split in half I was told by the man that answered the phone I cannot be seen until 08/22/2022 now I’ve been a patient of this location for more than 5 years and now I’ll seek another dentist because when I asked So you all don’t do walk-in emergencies I was told No, this tells me there’s no respect nor loyalty for the long term patients

Experiencia negativa: The other day I came and I was waiting for over 2 hours when I had an appointment scheduled at a certain time, I had to leave because nobody was calling on me and every time I asked it was “ 5 more minutes” it turned into 2 hours. Today I brought my son he had an appointment for 12:30 and they just got him at 2:30 after two hours. One of the receptionist anytime you asked her a question she had an attitude and a disgusted face on with anyone . Also it’s over 95 degrees and the AC is also broken.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment this morning and they were closed. No one left me voice message or contacted me. I waste three dollars to park and no appointment. How unprofessional and took time out my work to go to the dentist for nothing.

Experiencia negativa: They did half root canals on my teeth and never gave me crowns. They were so short staffed 1 day that the dr had me holding instruments like an assistant. He also purposely (told me this is how he likes his day) bounced from room to room seeing different patients the whole time I was there. This made the appts take forever. The place also isn't very sanitary.

Experiencia negativa: I used to love this place and recommend this place to everyone I knew but not anymore! I made an appointment three months ago and they've rescheduled my appointment because "the doctor got sick" or "the doctor had an emergency and had to leave" at least once a week every week until my last appointment, the last straw for me was a few days ago I decided to go early to my appointment (which was scheduled like two weeks ahead) and paid to park in their parking and as I'm entering the elevator they called me to reschedule my appointment 15min before my appointment! Sooooo it's sad to say but I will never go back there and will never recommend anyone to go there.

I went here as a new patient for a routine dental cleaning which included X-rays for first visit, after all was done everything was reported normal and healthy with a recommendation for wisdom tooth removal. I made an appointment with an oral surgeon with a referral to remove wisdom teeth and had another set of X-rays done there. Doc explained and I clearly saw that I have a large cyst around one of my wisdom teeth with bone loss in the jaw.. How pointless were Columbia dental’s X-rays if they couldn’t even spot such an obvious problem?

Experiencia fantástica: My appointment was on Thursday, and the level of service was spectacular. I felt welcome, understood and comfortable. My anxieties where put at ease throughout the visit. A truly favorable experience nothing compare to the ones I previously had. I am grateful to the team that treated me, Katiana and Dr. Shande are super caring, attentive and funny. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

The staff was very friendly and informative, they were thoughtful of my needs, and I experienced no pain during my root canal. I was worked on by Dr. Patel and his assistant Kathianna, who were both very lovely and polite.

Experiencia negativa: Most painful root canal ever. The dentist and his assistant were just chatting away not even paying attention to the amount of pain I was in. The assistant had such a heavy hand, he kept ramming the suction tube thing into my gum and I felt it. I even tried to move his hand up to lift the weight while he was talking but within a minute he would just rest all his weight again. What a horrible experience. Never coming back.

I haven’t waited more than maybe 5 min in the waiting room prior to my appt, and most times its really closer to 2min. I love this office. They always get me an appt right away and everyone there is so pleasant to talk to. I left my old dentist office after they referred me here for a procedure they couldn’t do and I never went back. My old dentist was awful and the wait was always over 30 min, after making an appt! I’ll never go back. So happy to find a great dentist. Thanks doc!

From the minute I arrived for my appointment John at the front desk and Dr Patel treated me with respect and made my very comfortable. Best Dental group I have ever been too. Dr Patel has been great. Explained all the steps to me and has taken time to make sure that I’m doing ok. I have had massive dental work there and all the staff there has been very supportive and encouraging. I would never go to any other group. I highly recommend this group to everyone I know.

Experiencia fantástica: I dislike the dentist and I dislike face pain of any kind so it took a LOT for me to even call for an appointment when the pain started. I got an appointment with in 2 days and in 2 more days after that I was all set tooth pulled and no issues at all with it. They did a great job so I didn't feel anything until the procedure was finished and the novocaine wore off I'm sore now of course but it was well worth it. Thanks to All of the people in the office I will be going back there to get any more work that I need done, done.

The Dentist here is very professional and he makes sure that you feel comfortable and he explains everything clearly. I usually have questions for my dentist and he answers the questions without making you feel as though you're bothering him. This is great quality care. The staff is also very accommodating, respectful, and kind. I tend to be a nervous patient and they all made sure I was calm and comfortable. I had a great experience overall every time I went in thou, very thorough. The one negative issue I have with this dentist office is with the parking lot it’s small and the building is shared with other medical practices and you have to record your license plate with the lot attendants and get your parking validated so you won’t have to pay for parking. Most may not enjoy their dentistry experiences but I very much recommend this dentist to everyone.
