I am a patient there myself and I recently took my daughter there, 4 years old, and they went above and beyond to make sure she had an incredible dentist experience. Which is so important for the kiddos when they are first getting used to visiting the dentist. We love their team and its such a nice office and clean space. On the drive home she asked me to call the dentist and tell him "this was the best doctor visit I ever had." So of course I did lol. Definitely recommend them!

After waiting I finally got called in. Imagery were taken and taken to a room. After a wait I was interviewed were the tooth ache was. He left came back and told the dentist was busy and since I had no appointment I will have to return another day. It a weekend I said. No reassuring comment. Left prostrated. $350 down the drain.‍‍‍‍

Experiencia negativa: They were able to get me in same day for emergency tooth pain. They were going to schedule me a week and a half away for a root canal. When I found a referral practice that could see me sooner they flat out refused to fill out my referral form. I assume they wanted to be the ones to profit from my tooth pain. Reception was hit or miss with professionalism and seemed annoyed when I called for a copy of my medical records.

Been struggling to find an in-network dentist and finally gave up until I didn't have a choice. The tooth broke more and turned into a true dental emergency this week. This office fit me into their schedule within 36 hours. Not only did they help with financing options, they also prepped the tooth and made the permanent crown same day. All within a couple of hours. I have been to many dentists over the years and would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a good tooth doctor. Overall wonderful experience. Nothing but good things to say. Couldn't be more grateful and relieved

I originally when I scheduled asked specifically if the Dentist does root canals and they said yes he does everything But then they scheduled me for another doctor that didn't help me with what I originally came for . He didn't worry about my concerns.or answer my questions ,I don't even think he understood me .I was so disappointed. He didn't care at all. Now after I visited a real dentist this place is a business rip-off and he literally quoted me 8,000 didn't even explain any of the treatment. And all I needed is filling . They don't care about you there. Please go to a local dentist.

Experiencia negativa: I went to Central Coast Dental Care with a cracked molar - obviously an emergency - as my regular dentist was out of the office today. I paid up front for the exam and xray as my dental insurance kicks in next month. The technician was kind, and the dentist was professional. They gave me an estimate for the procedure they recommended - nearly $6000, which they needed immediately to proceed, or they offered a tooth extraction for $1500. This was a big financial decision and I was visibly upset and told them I needed to think about it. The person who brought the estimate followed me to the parking lot, talking the whole way through the office and waiting room about how much pain I would be in if I waited. There was no talk of payment plans, financial help...just the backhanded comment about how I was going to suffer because I couldn't immediately move forward. I will happily go back to my regular dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my temporary crown fall out. Not fun. I called to see if they could help. They got me in right away. The hygienist was so sweet and understood my absolute phobia of dentist offices. I’m switching to this office. They are awesome!

Experiencia negativa: First time experience here and I won’t be back. Arrived early as they asked but no one was available. After waiting for a few min at the desk I just sat down. After 5 min past my appt time I called the office to see if someone would come answer the phone maybe. no one did, the message said “this office is closed”. An employee arrived for work and I asked if there was a receptionist to check people in. Still waited and finally the receptionist arrived at the front. No acknowledgment of the wait time or if the office is behind schedule. Waited 20 min past my appt time to be called back. I deferred X-rays until I’m not pregnant, they declined to treat me stating I had to have X-rays or the dentist wouldn’t see me. I told them I was fine with a cleaning and they refused that.

Dr. Jang seemed very compassionate and was sure to help me prioritize the treatments I needed since I can’t get them done all at once. Myrna went through the list of my treatments and explained to me how much my insurances covered and what I will pay out of pocket. I’m so glad I trusted my dental care with this wonderful team of professionals. There is no doubt that I will continue to see them for future care!

As well do not schedule anything until they recieve payment. They are in breach of their contract through Concordia/ Tricare. They do not respect military members and seek to get one over on young soldiers. Do not be fooled. These people are not available nor helpful.

Experiencia negativa: I want into central coast dental in seaside today for a very simple repair/filling on a slightly chipped front tooth. With bonding material. Unfortunately the dentist chipped the bottom of the tooth, no where near where the original chip was with a drill. I pointed it out when he was all done, but he (the dentist) immediately dismissed me and said he didn’t work anywhere near that area. Yet, I could feel the drill he used on that exact area. It is a small chip but definitely noticeable to me. What’s most disappointing is how immediately dismissive he was. I went in to get it fixed because I felt insecure about it. I left feeling just as insecure, just about a different area of the tooth. Unfortunate. The other staff were very nice however. I was asked by the assistant/hygienist (unsure which) if I wanted to talk to him again. I genuinely didn’t feel the issue would be resolved by him due to his initial reaction, or that he would be able to fix it. I would rather go to someone else at that point. So I left it at that. Just sharing my experience. Hopefully it’s not a common one.

Experiencia negativa: The gentleman who assisted the dentist, named Abel, was careless how he handled equipment. The camera for teeth x-rays bumped my glasses very hard several times. It wasn’t till Abel shoved the Camera piece in my mouth is when k realized something is wrong with this man. So I had to pause, take the camera out of my mouth. And ask him what was wrong? As wrong as he may have been he presumed witb saying “I cam leave “ when I had already had taken shots from the dentist, himself, to numb my mouth.. this os the level of professionalism you’re dealing with when you have guys like ‘Abel’ working to make sure patients feel uncomfortable.

Experiencia negativa: Worst office ever and non existence customer service. Three appointments in a row they have canceled my daughters and my appointments with no notice. First time we walked in for our appointments and they said that the hygienist left (couldn’t even bother to call us) second time they called as we were pulling in to the parking lot and said the hygienist left, today we were 3 minutes away and they called and said that the hygienist left!! They even made back to back calls an hour before and wanted to confirm that we were both coming in for our teeth cleanings. Such a waste of my time, my daughter’s time during her last few days of summer break and my gas. They just lost our entire family as patients

Experiencia fantástica: I just had a wonderful experience at this dental practice. I would give ten stars to Dr. Renuka Kucherlapati and Maria, her assistant. They are friendly, efficient and know their stuff. I read the prior reviews and there are many negative reviews that seem to focus on money and insurance issues. Here is my story. About a month ago, I made a visit to this office because I needed to get a crown replaced. When the office contacted Delta Dental to get the approval for my crown, Delta Dental denied my claim for an absurd self-serving insurance company reason. I am dealing with Delta Dental in that regard. Yesterday, another crown fell off and I went to see Dr. Renuka to get the crown glued back on. (My crowns are over forty years old and I guess that they don't last forever.) In any event, Dr. Renuka showed me that the crown was broken and that she could not simply glue it back on. I would need a new crown and that she could replace the crown in about an hour. (They have a very cool computer operated machine that essentially does 3D printing to make crowns.) I then asked her if she could also replace the other crown because I was tired of waiting to resolve my issue Delta Dental. She said of course she could replace both crowns and within about an hour and half I had two new crowns. I am telling this story because Dr. Renuka's attitude reflects awesome patient service. In fact, despite the earlier negative reviews about customer service, in my opinion, everyone who works at this office is just lovely and helpful. Given my experience, I highly recommend Central Coast Dental for dental care.

Experiencia negativa: I made an emergency appt because I was in a lot of pain waited 2 days, when I show up the receptionist couldn’t answer any of my questions, all she could tell me is that I was there for an exam for future treatment, when I told her that I was in a lot of pain & it was for an emergency visit she just shrugged her shoulders. Receptionist could use some people skills training. The guy doing my xray was so rough and unprofessional making rude comments about how bad my teeth looked. Now the Dr who saw me was trying to tell me that the one I was having pain was on my right side when clearly it was on my left side, she looked so lost & confused. I was told I couldn’t schedule an appt unless I paid all upfront, so I had to wait 2 more days! In a lot of pain, I paid & the next day I just felt uneasy with the staff & their lack of knowledge and kindness & how unprofessional they were, as I shared my experience many people started telling me about their horrible experience with them, so I cancelled my appt & i had to beg them to get refunded which took like 15 days for them to start the refund. I got a second opinion & the other dentist/office I went to got me in the same day for treatment & I paid half the price & way better treatment. Please read all the reviews of this place & always get a second opinion. I am so happy I got a second opinion because I was told I didn’t need all the work they wanted to do.

Experiencia negativa: My family and I are new patients of CCDC Seaside and we began our dental treatment with them in late 2023. The relationship started well but it didn't last long. Their front desk staff named Alexis is unprofessional to work with. I have never been treated with derogatory remarks such as "rude, disrespectful, working with me causes communication problems etcetera". There were a couple of incidents that our appointments were canceled caused by her incompetency. I have discussed these problems with their head dentist, Dr Renuka. To resolve it, she took off Alexis in handling our dental appointments and the like. I believe Alexis is no longer with CCDC Seaside office. It was a relief. Another concern is their accounting department which Myrna handles. My husband had three treatment plans with Dr Renuka and we were overcharged. I found out about it when I reviewed our dental insurance site. I tried to communicate this with Myrna rightaway and requested a refund. Working with her to get the refund was not smooth. It took time before we received the first check. The last two refunds are still in limbo. We started talking about it early in November of 2024. Everything was reported to our dental insurance and was adviced to file a grievance. I made one already on our first treatment plan for overpayment, got the refund; however, for the last two treatment plans, the awaited refund is still in limbo. I'm about to file a grievance again. A note of advice to other patients of CCDC Seaside, always access your dental insurance account (online if you have one), or always contact your dental insurance when in doubt or for clarification. Always ask your dental provider for a pre-determination/authorization of treatment plan costs. In that way, your insurance will give them the time to review a dental treatment plan before it is performed and overpayment can be avoided.

Experiencia fantástica: I was desperate to get an appointment in being able to sign off for an upcoming surgery. They were very pleasant and supportive and took me right in without an appointment. All of the staff was very supportive and helpful and the doctor was great at explaining everything. This place is great. I’m gonna bring the whole family here.

Experiencia negativa: One star for a clean facility and friendly dental staff. Despite this, I will not return to this facility and encourage you to take caution if you go here. The dentist recommended 3 procedures for me after my first visit, which would likely be quite expensive. I did not have any issues at my prior dental visit, so this was surprising to hear. I got a second opinion from TWO other dentists and both did not agree with the Central Coast dentist’s recommendation and said I did not need ANY work done. If you have a treatment plan, I advise you to question the necessity of the procedures and get a second opinion before getting any work done.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited this dental office for my second cleaning and I was satisfied with the cleaning service. However, I had a concerning interaction with the doctor. During my consultation, I sought advice on addressing gaps from missing teeth, a lingering issue since my braces six years ago. When I expressed hesitation about immediately moving forward with a suggested solution, the doctor made an off-putting comment, implying I was 'slow.' In reality, I'm carefully considering my financial situation, which is currently strained due to recent expenses, including travel for a family funeral and backlog of bills. I'd just returned from the funeral the day before and wasn't prepared to make a hasty decision. Despite this misstep, I'm giving five stars for the overall quality of care. However, I hope the doctor will be more empathetic and understanding in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my first time coming back in a couple years. Happy to say that the front office along with the dental hygienist Ty and my dentist were super helpful. My dental hygienist educated me on the things I needed to continue doing and give me some updates of my gum health. They are very kind. Being a healthcare provider this is important that I will definitely be coming back and continuing my dental health. Update. I came back about a year later. I had a new dentist but the dental hygienist was the same. Continues to be amazing with the education for my dental hygienist and my dentist (Dr. Renuka) today. Helped check my front tooth that was chipped. Give me different options and made recommendations. I was very happy with everything. The front also were super helpful because I had to change them insurance and I was able to let them know and they helped me with that process. Update: Came back and same great experience. Gave me some recommendations and not too pushy. Allowed me to make a decision for myself and gave me time to ask questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone in this office acts very professionally and also they are all quite friendly. Dr. Renuka took the time to get to know my issues and explained thoroughly what I needed as far as treatment. I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that needs a great dentist and professional staff

Experiencia negativa: Zero stars! Incredibly unprofessional-constantly calling to move appointments with a days notice because they won’t have anyone available. Receptionist is rude. Do not recommend!
