Experiencia fantástica: First visit to Lake Mary Family Dentistry, and I'm really impressed and happy. Leslie, the dental assistant who took my xrays, was so warm and personable. It was my first visit to the dentist in three years, and I was a little apprehensive for the appointment. But it was all good. Jeff, the hygenist, was AMAZING! He thoroughly explained everything to me and was very thoughtful in making sure I was okay and comfortable throughout my cleaning. Dr. Pinney was kind and friendly. He made a recommendation for the future, and I really liked him. I have nothing but praise for this office and highly recommend them.

She is knowledable of her profession and explained everything she did or was going to do. She assured my comfort, asking several times if I was OK. Experiencia fantástica: "Update 10/25 - the best staff ever! I even visit without an appt. Just to see them!" I have never been to the dentist at 7:00 a.m. and I have never been to the dentist twice in one day! This dentist office was amazing from every person I encountered. I had to find a dentist who did extractions. I really didn't have an issue with my previous dentist, except they did not do extractions. When I called to make the appointment, Natalie was so nice, and she immediately told me that some extractions they do have to refer you to someone else. Natalie also told me that if something wasn't covered with the X-rays, they have a new patient appointment special and would figure it out either way. I made the appointment despite maybe still having to go to an oral surgeon for my extractions, but I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, Charlie and I hit it right off. She was excited because I had the paperwork already. I knew I was in the right place because I could be myself. We had fun from the moment I walked in. Jynette did all the x-rays. Let me take pictures of the pictures. She was so friendly and we had a good time too. I can't believe I'm saying I had a good time at the dentist's, but I did twice. Then Sam came in to check the teeth for gum disease things like that. She was incredible, too! When I came back at 3:00 for the thorough cleaning, Sam explained everything so well and was funny. We even played "Under Pressure" on my phone while she was applying the pressure, LOL. When Dr. Pinney came in he was just as fun and very knowledgeable. Dr. Pinney was also very personable. He did not go over all the other work I needed besides having the teeth pulled. He knew that was the most important thing to take care of right away. He even posed for a picture. He also explained why it would be better to do the extractions with the oral surgeon. I would definitely recommend this dentist office. Everyone on the staff was incredible. Just a short update, Nellie, at the front desk went above and beyond to find the best solution for my FSA overpayment. She personally called them and received answers. Mikaela was also very helpful. I have to say this is the nicest dentist office I've ever been to!

Experiencia negativa: Our family of five had been loyal patients here for years, but we will never return — solely because of the new front desk receptionist. She is consistently rude, condescending, and refuses to admit mistakes without thinking that proofs are in emails and texts. She once scolded me like a child for cancelling first time ever on the same day due to a hospital emergency, and recently changed my confirmed 10:00 a.m. appointment to 11:00 without informing me — then insisted I was wrong, showed zero accountability. She is so stupid didn’t think that i have proofs in email and text about my appointment time being at 10am. Doctor Penny, your work is excellent, I told you how she behaved last year, and now her consistent attitude is harming your practice. this hire is driving away loyal patients. We’re done.

I don’t know that I’ve ever had such a detailed evaluation. I can tell that they care quite a bit about the health of your teeth. Leslie did all of the diagnostic assessment before my cleaning, she was very quick and efficient. I think I have found my new permanent dentist. The 7am appointment times are also so appreciated given my work schedule!

They canceled my appointment without ever contacting me, then lied and claimed they “tried.” Staff was rude and clueless. Was also told they took my insurance. Guess what ..they don’t. This is the A-Team of dental office support and Dr. Pinney knows it. There’s great energy here and they really care for your well being. Experiencia negativa: After many years, I’m disappointed to rate this office so poorly. Senior employees have left and new staff not properly trained. Office management speaks so loudly, the entire office Will surely hear about your medical conditions, and your path forward. Dr. Grant has not responded to my concerns directly, and I often feel pushed to receive dental care that I’m not currently in need of. This may happen, that may happen, and we need to remove this just in case is not good enough for me. He undermines the customers feedback, and for all these reasons, I will not be seeking his services in the future, and I cannot recommend.

Before the block injection on my bottom left jaw she advised me to give clear way so the Doctor could inject without any obstruction for a painless injection. Afterwards Ms. Leslie aided me with my discomfort and took care of me until she was sure that I was sure I was okay. Not only was she exceptional but the whole team from when I entered the office they were very ready to support me and had no issue with any questions.
