Experiencia fantástica: Accommodated what I needed. Was very fast with my fillings. Made me feel comfortable during the whole process

Experiencia negativa: Upsell Upsell Upsell to max charge for any potential procedure. I had a cavity on my back molar. They insisted I should get a crown for it. Its the BACK molar...I dont need a crown for it. I told them to just extract it and be done with it. On the day of the procedure they STILL tried to add a bone graft! There's zero need for a bone graft on an extracted rear molar. You really have to watch every line item they try and slip by for you to pay for! Soo many unnecessary charges they try to add. Very sketchy. Also the main dentist/owner is super cold/rude with an attitude. The other one is really nice. +++ UPDATE on their response +++ I had been going to your practice for a few years as its close by and 'had' good reviews. To suggest I confused you with another dentist is pure deflection and an attempt to not take reviews seriously to correct blatant issues. Second, and far more concerning is, who was the rude, unprofessional one that did work on my teeth!! It was only for a single session and was followed up with the other, nicer one but again, an attempt to dismiss your unethical practices.

Experiencia positiva: I truly wanted to give this office five stars because there is so much they do exceptionally well. From the moment you walk in, everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The office itself is beautiful and always spotless, which creates such a comfortable atmosphere. The hygienists are amazing, personable, and genuinely make you feel cared for during every visit. Unfortunately, I have to share my experience with a filling I had done. After spending a few hundred dollars on the procedure, the tooth became so painful that I couldn’t even floss between it without significant discomfort. I returned to the office four separate times because I truly wanted to give them every opportunity to make it right. The filling was even removed and redone, but unfortunately the problem was never resolved. In fact, the tooth hurts more now than it did when I originally had the cavity. This honestly makes me sad because I was so happy to have found a dental office where I felt comfortable and cared for. Now, I’m faced with the stress of finding a new dentist because I’ve lost confidence in having future fillings done here, and that isn’t a decision I take lightly. I sincerely appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, and I truly wish my experience had ended differently. My hope in sharing this review is simply to provide honest feedback while recognizing the wonderful people who work here. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Hamdi and her staff have been the absolute best. Every single person in this office has been incredibly kind to me, not one person judged me for waiting so long to take care of my dental issues. Dr. Hamdi has been a saint and really cares about her patients and will always provide options (if available). I have had severe dental anxiety from past dentists but Dr. Hamdi and her staff have changed my mindset completely. If anyone is looking for a dentist this is the spot! I appreciate Dr. Hamdi and her staff tremendously and cannot thank them enough!

Experiencia negativa: Please be aware they charge a $45 cancellation fee. No matter the circumstance ! You are responsible for paying during your next scheduled appointment. They are well within their right to charge whatever they want and create policies that push customers away, with no exceptions. They couldn’t care less, they are profiting off the misfortunes of others. Mind you this is my FIRST time trying to reschedule. I’ve been with them before. But they don’t care. The receptionist let me know they just want the money. Well I’m not coming back !!! You’ve lost a customer that you would have made much more than $45 off of. I needed my wisdom teeth removed, a cleaning, and whatever else the dentist assessed. Simply put, another dentist office will make a profit off me. I’m definitely not coming back here just so they can charge me $45 plus my additional services, that’s ridiculous. They are double dipping. They receive their payout from insurance and also want me to pay out of pocket for a rescheduling fee they added. Very sneaky.

Willing to take the time and explain my procedures. I went through an amazing transition with my teeth. Replaced all my upper teeth with crowns and whitening for the bottom teeth. I have an beautiful new smile. I never expected my smile to look this great. I highly recommend Dr Hamdi she listened to all my concerns and fulfilled the needs I presented her with. Every single time they supposedly had multiple cavities - to the extent that it was becoming hard to believe. We eventually changed dentists and learned that we were right. We will never go here again.

Experiencia negativa: I very rarely write reviews, but I had a very different experience here. If the review was about the friendliness of the staff, it would be 5 star all the way, but it is about the whole experience. I set an appointment as a new client to get my routine teeth cleaning. Everything started out pretty much as you would expect, they took the pictures and then the Dentist came in. she was very nice and went over some extra work she was recommending and gave me the quote to do it. I explained, that for this appointment, I only wanted a routine cleaning, but I would set an appointment for her recommendations as it was clear I needed that too. I waited for about 20 minutes, when the assistant came in and told me they could only do the extra work, or the routine cleaning today and wanted me to do the other treatment. That treatment was pretty expensive and I repeated that I was here for a routine appointment and just wanted the cleaning. I waited another 20 minutes and was moved into another room. Here they started what I thought was a normal cleaning, but the tech after looking at my pictures and teeth, said she wanted to do a "deep cleaning". She came back with a price of about $350 to do that, and I repeated I only wanted a routine office visit and cleaning. She then refused to do it if I didn't pay the uncharge. so after two hours, they took the pictures, refused to do a cleaning if I didn't pay the upcharge and now I have to wait for a little over a month for them to send the invoice to my insurance company and for them to pay it so I can get copies of the pictures to go a Dentist who will do it. I feel very disappointed in them, they have every right to uncharge as a business, but to refuse a general cleaning because I wouldn't pay, seems pretty unprofessional to me.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately our last experience was not positive with my 10 year old. We have been using Dr Hamdi for several years for regular cleaning and annual checks, I do not recommend for fillings or other procedure like dental extraction since with my daughter, a simple procedure turns into a very painful process where she couldn’t handle with empathy for the kid, shushing her, not believing on her crying and rushing the process, deciding to left the job unfinished with a molar broken and referring my daughter to a pediatric dentist to complete the extraction. The doctor’s assistant showed more compassion and sweetness.

Experiencia negativa: The office explained to us that we would be covered under our insurance for reimbursement prior to our visit. We had been patients there for 9 years. After the visit, we called our insurance company to confirm and they told us that we were not covered. Primera Dental offered no resolution for long time patients. We will not be going here anymore.

I’ve been a patient for some years and always leave feeling great about my smile. I recently did the Spark braces (adjacent to Invisalign) too and am very happy with the results.

Experiencia negativa: Beautiful office and great hygienist. It’s a good idea to get a second opinion as I was told I needed a crown and had an existing cavity in a filling that was done by this office three times on the same tooth! When I went to a different doctor for a second opinion I was told there was no cavity and no crown was needed, the simple repair was just to shave down a portion of the tooth that was hitting another. Had I followed the care advised here, I would’ve been out well over $1000 and my tooth permanently altered. Just some food for thought!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Primera for the first time yesterday, and there aren't enough words to convey what an amazing, and positive experience it was for me. My appointment was with Dr. Shah, and her calming, highly knowledgeable, and gentle manner as it related to my "very extensive senior mouth issues" and my many health issues was truly a blessing. The entire staff from check-in, through dental x-ray's, and the others involved in my care were without fail the very best I've ever had throughout my life. In prior years I've had some very (very) bad dental experiences, and have always had a fear of dentists. My appointment yesterday with Dr. Shah has now taken my fear away, and her staff's kindness and caring attitude will make me a lifelong patient at this very high-tech (highly advanced in all respects) dental practice. Experiencia fantástica: I recently went to Primera Dental for cleaning and for tooth pain. Dr. Shah is amazing. She was very thorough with her examination. She took her time explaining things to me. She was extremely patient and answered all my queries. At no point I felt rushed or being pushed for unnecessary treatments. I went ahead with the treatment and I am very happy with the results. She is excellent at what she does and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable through out the procedure. I am glad I found this place. Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Primera Dental. Dr Hamdi, Dr Alvarez and Sasha (and the rest of the staff) are very good at their jobs. The communication of costs and what insurance will/won’t cover was clear and accurate. I received a bone graft, and then an implant. I received multiple quotes for these procedures, but I only felt comfortable with the dentists at Primera.

Dr Hamdi gave me medications to take me out of pain until I can I get into an oral surgeon. The front desk Sasha helped me by calling in my medications and scheduling me with an oral surgeon same day. I give major props to this office by taking on a lot of responsibilities when it comes to patients in pain. Thank you so much

I am very thorough and when I asked Dr Hamdi why they did not have Profijet which is basic equipment for basic cleaning, I was told its "too expensive"? Three visits later, Dr Hamdi has not once looked at my teeth but I was told I needed a crown so I got a 2nd opinion and was told it wasn't necessary. I won't be back be back and recommend staying away!

I had an issue earlier in the year that I ended up paying OOP for that could have easily been avoided had my insurance been looked at. Regardless, I love it here and would definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Been coming here for a few years since my previous dentist retired. Other than the constant pushing for flouride treatments, its been fine. They wanted to schedule me for a 4 month visit instead of 6 and told ne my insurance would cover 2 in a calendar year. Got here for my appt today and now im bei g told my insurance wont cover it and i need to pay $103 out of pocket.

Experiencia fantástica: I selected Primera Dental when I started my new job. I actually had a very good experience there the couple times that I went. I would highly recommend this dental office. The staff and the doctors are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had two teeth I needed extracted, and I had put it off for about a year. I saw another dentist who did extractions. I ended up keeping this dentist because the office hour starting time of 7:00 a.m. is better for my work schedule. Back to Primera, I can tell you that every time I made an appointment, received a cleaning, or had an exam, I was thoroughly happy with the results. I even recommended this dentist to one of my coworkers.

Experiencia negativa: Most of the staff is nice and the dental hygienist is very good and such a lovely lady. However the Dentist is rude, I wasn’t technically due yet for X-rays and she got upset and told me it was better to not come back if I was going to turn down X-rays. Did an exam when I wasn’t due yet bc she wanted to charge me more. Thankfully there’s many good dentists in the area with a much better attitude and I’m sure they will appreciate me as a patient.

Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do but I know I’m in good hands with Dr Hamdi and her staff. She immediately puts you at ease with her calm and sweet demeanor. The most impressive part of my last visit was that she took the time to show me my problem areas on my x-rays, which I have never had a dentist do before. Knowledgeable, takes time to carefully and thoroughly answer questions and explain details, and the most comfortable dental services I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend Vanessa. Front desk and Administration is great too. Always out in front and advocating for me (and my wife who is also a patient) if my insurance provider makes mistakes; Primera fixes it on my behalf with no efforts from me. They are also outstanding in providing details on what expenses to expect, and take the time to discuss and answer any questions. My personal dentist Dr. Rotelli is great. She went to the extra effort to fill a difficult to reach cavity in a back wisdom tooth, which is relatively inexpensive and painless, compared to recommending the tooth be pulled which is extremely painful and very expensive. I’ve had other dentists in the past which would try to take advantage of the situation with the “up-sale” of such unnecessary services. But not at Primera!! They are true advocates for their Clients/Patients, always having the Patients best interests in mind! A true treasure to find such an amazing dental practice and the dedicated and honest people who work there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Experiencia fantástica: Truth be told, I hate the dentist. With a passion, its all I talk about when I get dental work done. This place made me feel like all those worries were for nothing. I've gotten three fillings and two crowns all with minimal pain and great results. Jaileen was very nice, and she has great experience with what she does, never felt more safe with needles and sharp objects in my mouth before. Highly recommend for anyone who's nervous about these kind of things.

Experiencia fantástica: I really haven't been to the dentist in years lol so I felt scared that they might say something horrible and that I need surgery or something done but once I walked in the front desk lady was so kind and answered all my questions I sat down for like 10 minutes and they called me quick and they did the x-rays quick which I was pleased about cause it was uncomfortable having to bite down a hard plastic thing and the one who was attending to me was named Tess and she honestly made me comfortable and we were laughing while she was doing everything she needed to do for me i felt like it was such a quick service and everyone was definitely friendly and I seriously loved the visit

When a Lady and her son were removing their masks at the lobby area and I got a panic attack, she moved us to a separate location to avoid any possible covid contamination. This place has a wonderful covid 19 protocol. However, there will be people that do not practice protocol adherence.

I have since moved from the Lake Mary area and I am willing to drive 45mins one way for Primera Dental! I don’t think I will find anyone I trust more than I do Dr. Hamdi and her staff! Top notch service again! I was referred to Dr. Hamdi by a friend and I couldn't be happier to have taken the advice. From my first visit to her Waterford office a couple of years back, I have been really impressed by the quality of care provided to myself and my family. Dr. Hamdi and her team know fully well that the average person isn't too excited to go to the dentist and they go above & beyond to ensure that the experience is as painless (pun intended) as possible. My teeth were in very bad shape and as a first time patient they gave me a dental plan that is very affordable and I could do at my own pace. I will be taking much better care of my teeth now and visit their office regularly to take care of my teeth!!

Experiencia positiva: UPDATE: Dr. Handi gave me a full refund and fully apologized for how the situation was handled. She truly seems to care about her patients. The service was okay. Too chatty IM. But, this review really reflects the billing department. I paid my balance in full the day of the services. Then received a call weeks later saying I had unpaid balance due to an issue with my insurance. (Understandable.) Within less than 24 hours, I received 3 phone calls and a text message to get the remaining balance. During one call, I had spoke with someone to tell them I couldn't pay at the moment because I was in Target and did not want to say credit card number out loud. I paid in full the next day. Too pushy with collecting their balances due to an insurance fault that should have been known BEFORE the visit if they had done their due diligence.

I’m quite the chicken when it comes to the dentist, so being a new patient was intimidating but the staff was so friendly they made me feel like I’ve been a patient for years! Dani, Vanessa, Jessica & Sasha are fantastic at what they do! I can’t stress it enough! Dr. Hamdi made me feel so at ease knowing she was going to take such good care of me. Sending my Fiancé, his family, my family, the neighbors, their families and their coworkers to this office because they are JUST THAT GOOD! Actually looking forward to going back!
