Experiencia fantástica: I was taken to an old school dentist who used a treadle drill for the first 16 years of my life. He did not have quick reflexes or good numbing skills and it seemed like he enjoyed lingering on the nerves. Because of that and just juggling life and death until the age of 76, it had become real easy to put off seeing a dentist. Finally, my daughter and son in law found W Dental and convinced me to make an appointment. I’ve only been there twice for a cleaning and to replace two old crowns, but I don’t have a phobia anymore. Everyone and the whole atmosphere there has a calming effect on me and I will actually look forward to my appointments from now on. I am sincerely thankful that I can finally feel this way.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this office so much! They are so incredibly sweet. I literally blush every time I’m there because they are always complimenting me and just caring for me in general. They really do take time to get to know their patients and remember the things you tell them about your life. I just went in recently to get two fillings. Before the treatment, Dr.Doolittle’s dental assistant and I had such a great conversation about everything. She was so kind. While the treatment was being performed, one of my teeth was not responding super well to the anesthesia. As soon as I reported feeling pain, Dr.Doolittle immediately took everything out of my mouth and didn’t continue with the treatment until I was completely numb and not feeling any of the pain. She was so gentle and intentional, she also walked me through everything they were doing. That’s just one of many great experiences with them!

I had been dealing with a massive headache for about a week and believed it was caused by my wisdom tooth, first visit they took a look and asked would like it removed today? I was astonished because I was thinking I would have to come back! Nope they made sure I was completely numb, comfortable, and talked me through everything! They managed to get me in for a last-minute appointment and took care of everything efficiently without making me feel rushed. I truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness—highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Went for a simple cleaning and Mrs. Klassen said I had cavity, she then pressured me into working on it when I didn’t want to, by using scare tactics. She drilled way too far into the tooth, hurt me badly, and I had to have another dentist office pull that tooth exactly two months later because Dr Klassen “killed” the tooth. And after looking at my x-rays, other good dentists said I never even had a cavity there to begin with. My husband also went in same day, and Mrs. Klassen told him that he was “spinning his wheels” cleaning his teeth. He was smart enough to get up and walk out, right then. Every day since, I regret not doing the same thing because I did not feel comfortable after hearing her speak similar nonsense to me. Dental care should always be respectful, transparent, and based on accurate diagnosis—not pressure or misinformation. Carly Klassen or Rebecca Doolittle who put her stamp of approval on it too, have no business having licenses to practice dentistry.

But all 4 ladies that I had to encounter were all very professional, and soothing and made my whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable !! I asked at least 100 questions, and they were all very knowledgeable, and explained everything to me, and put me at ease. I am not nervous anymore, and in fact I am ready to go back and see these ladies and get all of my procedures done by them! Unfortunately, my wife had to wait on the dental chair too long before they started working on her and she had an afib episode while waiting. It would be nice if elderly patients could schedule early appts so they could be worked in quickly without the wait.

When she noticed a cavity forming she tried to prevent it from needing to be filled- I never had a dentist do this! When I did have a cavity filled they checked on me the next day! Their customer service is next level! If there’s a wreck I’ll get a message from the team so I can plan accordingly! They were great with my husband too, he had not seen a dentist for 16 years! He was very impressed with them!

Everyone from the front desk associates to the dental assistant to the Dentist were SO amazing! Trying to find a dentist I like that’s in network for my insurance is frankly, impossible. They told me what to expect since they’re not in my network (nothing was a surprise when it came time to pay). I called around a bit before committing and couldn’t find anyone else local who is in network. But this office came highly recommended by our pediatric dentist and I trust her. So (in OR out of network) they deserved a chance. I’m glad I did give them that chance. If there’s an adult version of my kids fantastic dentist, featuring people who feel like they actually care about more than your wallet contents, get you in on time, take the time to LISTEN and have water available before you leave…..I’ve found it. Dr Doolittle is so kind and has the best chair-side manner!!!

I have a serious emotional fear of all things teeth related that has caused me to put off going in to the dentist for several years. Dr Klassen and her staff were well aware that I was an anxious ball of stress (I had tears pouring down my face while I was simply getting pictures of my teeth taken, something about showing someone my imperfections is extremely hard for me). They were empathetic and so very kind to me. I know they see teeth all day long, but these are my teeth and my smile is very important to me. I asked them to please not show me the teeth pictures, or X-rays, or go into much detail about what I need done (I know I sound ridiculous, but we all have something that we struggle accepting right?) I just asked them to let me know the plan to get my teeth beautiful and let’s set up a date, because I fully trust Dr. Klassen to take care of me and my dental needs. They didn’t even bat an eye! Dr. Klassen very gently went over some things I need to work on myself at home and got a to do list together for me and we set up a date. They offer the sedation pills before hand so that I will mostly sleep through whatever dental work I will be getting done, it’s something they offer for people like me who would otherwise be unable to follow through with the treatment part. I honestly left the dentist appointment feeling no stress or anxiety about the upcoming visit and for the first time in my life, I can think about going to the dentist and I don’t have a hot flash, nausea, and sweaty palms. I’m excited to go back, and excited for Dr. Klassen to make my smile beautiful again! If you’re scared or nervous, I just want to tell you that it’s okay to be scared, but it’s not okay to avoid the dentist for 5 years because if it. Especially when you go into their dental office and realize how pleasant a dentist visit can be! W Dental is a 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend!
