He does an excellent job easing anxiety by walking you through the procedure step by step, and most importantly, he made sure I was completely comfortable with the proper local anesthetic so the experience was as pain-free as possible. His assistant was also fantastic—kind, attentive, and comforting from start to finish. What really stood out to me was that Dr. Spooner personally called me later that evening to check on how my tooth was doing. That level of care and follow-up is rare and truly appreciated. If you need a periodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Spooner.

I had a tooth extraction and a bone graph I did not feel anything at all and this is the first time I’ve not had some sort of pain after an extraction. I highly recommend!! Experiencia fantástica: First time visiting them trying to figure out process for getting my wisdom teeth out as they were causing a significant amount of pain suddenly. My normal dental PC was far from helpful. (said we will email you some places later that might be a good fit). So due to a recommendation from a friend, came here. I cannot believe how easy they made this for me. The doctor gave his recommendations after reviewing my case, and everyone I spoke to here seemed to really care. They immediately within the same day, found one of the oral surgeons they recommend that was within my network (before me leaving the office) and had my surgery scheduled same day with a surgeon trusted by the dentist here. Honestly, cannot recommend more.

Experiencia negativa: Oh this is going to be long. I chose this location based on their great reviews. Then noticed that the review printed on the wall was from 199X, and Nexton was still a forest at that time. Also, they lie on their paperwork and when I get a class action notice, I will join it. The paperwork says that there is a discount from the quote when paid in cash, however that is not true. The estimated cost is IN CASH and they add MORE money as a processing fee. A total bait and switch that you don't know until AFTER you are done with the service. Then there is the fact that my hygienist only spent 15 minutes per section of my mouth cleaning it, while they pressure you into coming back in 4 weeks to make sure you don't need a second round. Not only was my time blocked way longer on their calendar, a quick google search will tell you that it takes about 45 minutes per quadrant, with novocain. Let's talk about that novocain. I have never had a hygienist administer it before. It has also been the doctor. I felt everything she was going, even though she had numbed me from my eye socket all the way to my neck. It took over 4 hours to wear off, but she missed the correct nerve completely. I have had it done before and this was the first time this has ever happened. I also told the doctor from the very beginning that I would also be working with my orthodontist. After I got past the long list of things he said I needed done, including 4 cracked teeth. I told him that I wouldn't be doing anything without including my ortho in on the plan. That I am well informed that grafting without pulling the tooth back into the bone will not last and is a waist of money. I finished my deep cleanings, and then went to the ortho for the plan. They gave them zero information about cracked teeth. They said the only thing they had was the deep cleaning. They called back and specifically asked about the notes written in my chart and not just the plan. In which they replied this would have been discussed at the appointment I cancelled. I did NOT cancel the appointment. THEY did! They asked to reschedule 2 out of the 4 appointments I had on the books with them! It is also my chart. I paid for it. I overpaid for it with their payment scam. They can't hold it ransom from my ortho. I will NEVER walk into this place again. I will actively tell people to run away. The whole experience is very smily, but it feels like you are in a used car sales funnel the whole time. I don't believe anything they said, and will be getting a second opinion. They didn't even do a bite test for the cracked teeth...... How did they even know if it requires a specific test and can't be seen on an X-ray?

Experiencia positiva: Had to have crown lengthening done before I could get fitted for my crown by my dentist. Usual shots in the mouth that hurt worse than the procedure itself. Dr. Lacy and everyone else who assisted her did great. I am 3 days post op and so far so good no issues and very minimal pain or swelling and have yet had to use any Tylenol or Motrin. I took one star off however as the only thing in my post op bag was an ice pack. Apparently I was supposed to go home with a script for a chlorhexidine mouth rinse however that was nowhere to be found in my bag nor was I told I would need to do that. While not a huge deal as I was able to call the office and they were able to get it electronically sent to my Rx but it was still an inconvenience.

Dr Lacy made me feel comfortable and in fact I had no anxieties when we discussed her plans to pull all of my teeth. Naturally with not seeing a dentist on a regular basis my teeth are not in good shape. I look forward to seeing Dr Lacy for the extraction.
