I consulted with Dr. Fine about switching from a CPAP to a dental device to manage my sleep apnea. He was fantastic and I loved the dental device from the first night I wore it. I am delighted that my device is managing my sleep apnea beautifully. This was a significant decision that has improved my quality of sleep and it is thanks to Dr. Fine.

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I start? The reception Dawn is probably the most efficient with a smile and grace receptionist I have ever encountered. Her cohort at the reception desk Joy her name describes her beautifully. The dental technicians, thorough, kind, empathetic smart educate us every step of the way. And then of course, Dr. Derek Fine. If I could choose a friend for life Who is intelligence comes with a great sense of humor, a delightfully open minded welcoming, making anyone feel at home from the moment they step into the place. But one word that seems very important to them is educate. Everyone there educates us comfortably easily and answers all questions. I would give them far more than five stars.

Experiencia negativa: I told the receptionist when I booked the appointment how old my daughter was and what treatment was needed. They assured me they could do what I needed, so I booked a $101 consultation. I come in and the dentist was very nice, but he could not treat my daughter. He referred me to a pediatric dentist. So I just paid $101 to tell me to go to another dentist and to count her teeth. I feel robbed and misled by the office staff.

Everyone went above and beyond to make the visit smooth, stress-free, and positive for both parents and kids. I’ve never been to a dentist that says “let watch this cavity” and admits remineralization is possible. My cleaning…absolutely insane. I had so much tarter build up. Every cleaning I’ve been to in the past they just polish and scrap for like 10 minutes tops. I sat there for a hour..they went tooth by tooth and my teeth look brand new. Highly highly highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: If a patient has any type of balance, instead of Debbie (who handles finances) privately calling the patient into her office, Dawn at the front desk requests payment in front of everyone. This approach is unprofessional and unethical, it leaves you feeling like you are just a “number” or a “dollar sign” to Aesthetic Family Dentistry in Denville, NJ. Additionally, the office immediately bombards patients with notices about “remaining balances”, without providing enough grace period before invoices are sent. Overall, this creates the impression of a disingenuous, money-hungry practice that lacks compassion and respect for patient privacy.

I tore some dental floss while flossing my teeth. a piece got stuck in one of my molars and I could not remove it myself. I was told that everyone gets back from lunch at 2 PM and if I came in at that time someone would see me and take care of the problem. Sure enough, Sharon, a dental technician was waiting for me to arrive at 2 PM and easily removed the annoying tiny ball of floss, and sent me on my way, a happy camper. She explained everything prior, gave us directions for pain management after. During the procedure she was so comforting and understanding. We had an excellent experience with AFDPA. They had a boppy pillow and nice comfy chair so I could nurse after. Gave me plenty of time to comfort my son. She continued to follow up after the procedure to make sure my son was doing okay, I could not recommend Dr. K at AFDPA enough for the lip and tongue tie procedure. We are so grateful for her and alll she did. It absolutely changed our breastfeeding journey for the better.

If you’re like me and have trauma around dental care then I cannot recommend Dr Patel enough. As someone who has had anxieties about dental care since a teen from having lots of cavities then you’ll be thankful to finally find someone who helps ease your mind and anxieties with his genuinely kind, calm and caring demeanor and is a great conversation. He also was beyond amazing with my son who needed fillings and was extremely patient and sweet with him. Also appreciate the more holistic approach and minimally invasive techniques they offer along with the extremely friendly office staff as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had a permanent retainer on the bottom teeth for 12 years. Recently it felt like it was breaking. I went to a few orthodontist offices and was told they "wouldn't work on other dentists projects". They could remove the retainer no problem, but were unwilling to make a new removal one. Unfortunately, my original orthodontist is retired. Finally Dr. Jenni Kwiatkowski was willing to do it. This afternoon, she removed the retainer, removed some plaque, and her assistant took a mold for a new removal retainer. They even made a mold for a new top retainer, since my current one is also >10 years old. When she walked in, I was nervous. I do get a teeth cleaning every 6 months with my normal dentist. Usually it involves quite a bit of pain and bleeding. But she put me at ease, and the plaque removal today was so painless. The teeth definitely feel strange without a metal bar. But I was finally able to bite into an apple today! (Something I haven't done since getting braces in Dec 2009). Very happy with everything. I'll be getting the new retainers probably on Friday. Hopefully my teeth would shift too much in the next 3 days!
