Experiencia positiva: I came in as a first-time patient, expecting a routine teeth cleaning—something I specifically requested when scheduling. However, when I arrived, I was surprised to find that my appointment had been set up as a migraine consultation instead. I suspect this may have stemmed from a mention of my upcoming neurologist appointment during the initial call, which caused some confusion. The dental team did offer to fit me in later that day to fix the issue, which I appreciated. However, when I spoke with the scheduler, the conversation took a disappointing turn. She made unnecessary comments about the notes on my account and insisted that there was no mention of a cleaning request. Her tone felt dismissive, and I left feeling unheard and discouraged—especially after being told the soonest available cleaning appointment wouldn’t be until January. Despite this, I want to note that the dentist was very kind, knowledgeable, and apologetic about the mix-up, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the front desk experience overshadowed what could have been a more positive first visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional team and also very accommodating. Everyone worked well together from scheduling the appointment, to the dental technician X-raying and cleaning my teeth, to the exam by the dentist. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Burns and her team are the best! I have always been terrified of the dentist but I’ve been seeing her for about a year now and she puts my anxiety at ease. She is always so helpful! On Thursday evening my mouth was in so much pain, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat, I put in an appointment request and her team called me first thing Friday morning to get more information and to get me in ASAP. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for this practice. Thank you to the whole team for being amazing! I would give more stars if I could!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience. The dentist improperly administered anesthetic resulting in nerve damage and permanent loss of feeling in a considerable portion of my tongue. The filling she placed only lasted a few hours before breaking.

I called the office and they were incredibly accommodating and fit me in for an appointment before I left the country. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and professional, making me feel at ease during a very stressful time. Dr. Zugai and her assistant, Brooke, were very attentive and explained everything clearly before proceeding with the treatment. I left the office feeling relieved and grateful for the excellent care that I received. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Township Family Dentistry - they truly put their patients first.

We started seeing Dr. Zugai after Nikki referred her to us to enroll my son in the Healthy Start Program to address some sleeping and teeth grinding issues. We’ve seen great results with the use of the habit corrector and overall always have a great experience when coming in for regular cleanings. My children love seeing Nikki’s smiling face at the front desk and esp love when she points out the treasure chest at the end of the visit :) We look forward to continuing our care here!

They go out of their way to encourage my kids to keep up with their good dental hygiene habits, they have a no cavity club and a pretty cool treasure chest which totally eliminates the usual fight to see any type of doctor. When I called for the first time Nikki said everything would be fine and the boys would love it here and she wasn't wrong - give her a call you won't regret it :)

Experiencia fantástica: Due to several injuries as a kid my front teeth have become a major health concern and I haven't really felt comfortable smiling for years. Dr. Zugai devised an extensive and affordable plan to restore my teeth in the healthiest way possible with a mix of dental crowns and a dental implant. While I'm going through the healing process for the implant, Dr. Zugai and Brooke have provided me with a great temporary smile and I can't wait for the end result in a few months! I live in another state and I drive over an hour to continue being a patient here. At the front desk, Nikki is super friendly and always able to work with my schedule.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to Dr Burns since she opened this practice and I am more than pleased with the service, office staff and complete care I receive. Leeann, is so friendly and does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth every 6 months. I had to have a tooth fixed and a filling replaced. The experience was beyond superb. I did not experience any pain during the procedure and afterwards when the Novacane wore off my bite was spot on. To this day, I cant remember which tooth was fixed. This was the best experience I have had at the Dentist. I recommend Dr. Burns practice to care for all your dental needs.

Going to the dentist is so stressful to me, but when I called for the first time to schedule - I knew as soon as I heard Nikki’s voice that everything was going to be different here. She didn’t rush me off of the phone, she listened to my questions/concerns ( and I had a LOT haha) Everyone here is nice, full of smiles and it’s just really clean and modern. That’s something I’m not used to. The Doctors and assistants were also wonderful, helpful and explanatory. If you are a little fearful of the dentist this office is a great place to start! 10/10 !

Since switching to here I have not been stuck in a waiting room or sitting unattended in the chair. The staff is always welcoming and positive. As someone who typically loathes the feeling of having my teeth cleaned with the metal dental pick my hygienist, Teri, has been a breath of fresh air to the entire cleaning process. She is fantastic at explaining what she is doing throughout the cleaning, and gentle while working with the pick. Teri is receptive to my concerns, and overall fun to chat with. I would recommend her to anyone! Dr. Burns has been great to work with as well. As with Teri, Dr. Burns has been receptive to any concerns I have had and not afraid to take the extra time to explain treatments. I truly believe she wants the best for her patients.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so pleased with my orthodontic care with Dr. Zugai with the clear Candid aligner trays. She is such a personable Dr. and has such passion for the care she provides! I have wanted to do braces for many years and I’m so glad I am finally doing them with a Dr. I trust and that she chose to do it through Candid! The trays are great and so clear you can really not even tell I have them in! Also Candid is so cool there’s an app you keep track of your treatment on and you use your phone to scan and update photos of your teeth! It is so easy, cute, & fun!

I followed her here from a previous dental office. I travel 40+ minutes from Plum because Dr. Zugai's care is amazing. She's sensitive to my needs and truly cares. Today I mentioned having some tartar on my front tooth, especially a cosmetic issue and even though Dr. Zugai is a busy dentist she took time to clean my tooth so I feel better about how I look in public since I'm a Pastor and meet with many people regularly in many different settings! What are you waiting for? It's time to change dentists! They're ready for you here!!!
