Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this location for years, even before the new company moved in. Everyone at this office is so friendly, makes great conversation, and educates their patients thoroughly. I've been to some money-hungry medical practices in the past, and this is not one of them. Everything is laid out so clearly, there is never any miscommunication, and they never jeopardize my oral/dental health for the sake of upselling products and procedures. Both the dental hygienists and the dentist himself always keep a positive attitude and take such good care of me. I cannot tell you the amount of times I've teared up from laughing so hard with the employees here. I CAN tell you, however, the amount of times I've teared up from a painful procedure here: ZERO. Pain management when it comes to patient health and comfortability is always taken seriously here, and the staff do so much to relieve my anxieties. I will always choose this dental practice over others in the area!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very friendly had a very pleasant day

When the Dr. entered the exam room, he reviewed the X-rays, told me what needed to be done, and then the wonderful hygienist finished be giving me a thorough cleaning. The dentist and staff are extremely cordial and professional. I’ve landed at a good practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really great experience here. Even though I had dental work done about a year ago, I was still nervous coming in because of past negative experiences and anxiety. As a mom of three, I’ve put myself last at times, but the staff was kind, patient, and never made me feel embarrassed. They made me feel comfortable and supported the entire time. If you’ve been putting off dental work or feel anxious, this is a safe place. They are very professional!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a painful cracked molar and was leaving town the very next day, and TD was able to get me in the next morning and place a temp crown. The reception staff were very professional, friendly, and caring, as were the rest of the team including Dr. Bessemer. I thought their pricing was fair.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a GREAT dental experience! The staff was nice and attentive. The dentist gave me a thorough exam and went into detail about what I needed next. The hygenist was very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on how to combat dry mouth.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you so much for an outstanding care. I truly appreciate your empathy, integrity and your professionalism. Fair prices!!! The staff is very friendly!!! Highly recommended !!!

Experiencia negativa: Not sure who originally called me, but one of the ladies in the office contacted me to notify me of a missed appointment. I explained that my entire household, including myself, was sick, and we also have a newborn. She stated that they require a 48-hour cancellation notice. However, I had no way of knowing 12 hours earlier that I would wake up sick. I am writing this at 9:17 AM on the day of the appointment to clarify what I mean by “12 hours ago.” Also, do not fill out the online paperwork they send you, because once you do, you are agreeing in writing to pay $75 if you cancel or are late. I never filled out those forms, yet she kept insisting, “I’m pretty sure you did.” If I had completed them, they wouldn’t have texted me every other day for two weeks reminding me to fill them out.

Experiencia fantástica: My visit was a great experience. Wasn’t rushed and they were very thorough.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always been met with kindness and professionalism by Dr Bessmer and his entire staff! I highly recommend this dentistry!! I know going to the dentist can be stressful on many levels. This office treats you with respect, accommodates your needs and makes you feel comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Great dental experience! My hygienist, Kevyn had a gentle touch but did a great cleaning. Dr. Bressmer addressed my concerns and talked through some treatment options. I’m a retired dental hygienist and feel like I have found a great dental office, so glad I found True Dental!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at this office is absolutely wonderful. I will always go back to them.

Experiencia fantástica: Very modern facility with customer friendly technology. Great team made me feel like I was a customer for 20 years!

Experiencia fantástica: The treatment rooms had calming videos of nature scenes and speakers playing music. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous.

Experiencia fantástica: Today I got the royal treatment from my Hygienist: total teeth cleaning and fluoride!! No cavities Thank you Traci for helping me start the new year with a winning smile ! TruDental truly cares about their patients

Experiencia fantástica: Very satisfied with the progress at this 75% milestone with my dental aligners. The goal is to restore and hold the proper alignment of the upper and lower teeth that otherwise have a tendency to drift during aging. When deciding to have this procedure, I realized the bite correction was much more important long-term for dental health than the mere cosmetic correction. I would highly recommend True Dental to anyone having this issue.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome experience !! Friendly, Professional ! Would recommend them very highly !!

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff and nice office space.

Experiencia fantástica: A very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Nice office, easy to find. They got me in fast, too.

Experiencia fantástica: Clean and friendly. They also explain what is going on.Would recommend to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone was very friendly could not ask for better bedside manners, but when I got my partial plate it has never fit from the first time I put it in my mouth been back a couple of times, the dentist he grinned down on it trying to get it to fit right but never has, it had to be the wrong measurements when they send it in to get it made for my mouth, I still can't wear them, my honest opinion, they should have been redone, measured and a new plate made, the one I have is useless to me and I did pay the whole bill.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the only place I have been able to find that accepts United Healthcare! The entire staff was beyond kind and professional. I was in and out quickly with a clear plan moving forward. They even gave me a little welcome gift. I had a bad experience at my old dentist and they truly listened to my concerns and responded with kindness. 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Alexis (my Hygienist) was wonderful and made sure I was comfortable during my time in her chair! Dr. Bessmer didn’t find anything exciting to be done in his chair, great to be boring at the dentist! Great people, professional but fun, comfortable chairs (I could have napped!), clean teeth after 14 years!

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly, professional service. Never have to wait long. annual cleaning was quick and painless.

Experiencia fantástica: Going to the dentist is never fun, but the staff and doctors at True Dental make it as comfortable as possible. Little details, like comfy blankets, neck pillows and even sunglasses to cut the glare of the bright overhead lights, plus their overall friendliness, make a difference!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time at True Dental of Hixson. The staff was very friendly, and treated me with respect. The staff seemed to work well together, and were very thorough.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a pretty good case of anxiety from a prior bad experience at a different dentist office, but when I went into True Dental and had my first couple appointments, they completely washed that anxiety away. They are very kind and gentle on teeth, and they were very agreeable when I asked about a numbing of the teeth for my first cleaning. Dr. Bessmer is always super informative and professional. Kevyn is a great hygienist that was super friendly and did her job very well. And the administrative coordinator, Susan, has also been awesome in helping with scheduling, insurance, and billing. Highly recommend!

Experiencia positiva: While everyone was extremely nice but the issue was , I went there because I was Experiencing a very painful tooth ache and I needed it pulled. He wanted to send me to an oral surgeon because it was broken off. And I could get in, but that was only for a consultation. They wouldn't do on that visit. It was very disappointing . Therefore, I had to make another appointment with a different general dentist. Hopefully it will be taken care of soon. But if I hadn't had a problem I would have gone back.

I did not choose anything this time but I will definitely make a selection next time. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. The staff was very nice and I enjoyed the calming music. Update: April 25, 2025– my 6 month check up went smooth. The dental technician was super sweet. Always a fabulous experience from start to finish.
