Well, what have been consistently impressing me: 1. Both two generations of Dr. McMahan, father and then son, genuinely kind and highly attentive, even retaining personal details, and such positive people. The new dentist in their office, Dr. Will, has a fabulous personality and skills as well! And every single staff member! That is a very valuable psychological aspect of the practice to make all patients feel very comfortable! 2. Next- environment, yes office decoration to create, again, clean, positive and calm atmosphere. Attention to detail is highly admirable! 3. And the last one, the most important, is ongoing modernization of the technology. Highly recommend!

After my first appointment with McMahon, everything is much better! It's very hard to describe the excellent patient service this office has offered to me - I have had 2 visits so far Starting with the nice smiley lady's at front desk, then the care you receive once you sit on that "scary" dentist chair, to the Dr McMahon, the office manager, everyone i encountered had smiles on their faces It's truly one of a kind dentist experience I switched to this office because of the experience my bf had and still had with this office and it was time for me to change from a dentist I had for at least 26 years, he retired... I actually look forward to going back for cleaning and other dental work If you're there the first time and you experience excellent patient service, don't think you're the only one, or they trying to get your business, they are like that with everyone that walks in that office I just wish more doctors office made the patients comfortable like they do so you truly feel like someone cares for your health

From a very young woman who was never taught proper dental care until she was 17, let's just say that my teeth needed WORK (I am 25 now). I was extremely ashamed to smile, even around friends and family. My teeth were rotting, some were missing, it overall was not a good look. Dr. John and his team put together a game plan that I absolutely loved and we executed that plan within 4 months to give me the smile I have ALWAYS wanted. The communication is UNMATCHED! The sonic teeth cleaning process was super-efficient and painless. Dr. John came in for the final inspection and I was on my way home within an hour. I give this practice 5 out of 5 stars! Experiencia fantástica: This dentist and the whole team is hands down amazing, THE BEST. I am probably the most dramatic dental patient that ever existed- I have met the match I needed! The most patient team- from the front desk who I call too often with questions, the hygienists who I don't feel anxious or guilt with, the dental assistants who prep and engage with me, the financial planners who are just as human as I am. Then the dentist who has a degree in psychology- he watches body language and slows/stops until you are ready, is SO encouraging and understanding and is just overall a great human. They have a "Care Menu" that they offer- guys, GUYS- It is awesome. Weighted blankets, eye "masks" or sunglasses, chapstick, headphones and even an office iPhone for the android folks. (I used all, fyi ) Waiting room has bottled water, coffee, lemon water. I wish I could fly my family in for this office. That good. (Also, last but def not least they are fantastic with making care plans that make you comfortable and you TRUST are in your best interest.) Love this team.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very anxious about the shot to numb the area of my crown being painful. Taylor was sympathetic and gave me a couple of options including gas. It made a huge difference! Dani applied a vibration device while giving the injection and voila no pain! Doc Jon is amazing and the entire process went quickly and smooth. I’m a happy camper!

Experiencia fantástica: So we just switched dentists for our SN adult son. He had gone to a pediatric dentist for 30 years. Yesterday was his first appointment with Dr McMahon. Everyone was so great! After a cleaning they were able to fit him in for a crown and 3 cavities. After 2 1/2 hours he came out saying that it wasn’t so bad. He continued to talk all night about his procedure and how nice everyone was. It was like he was on a field trip. We are so thankful we made the switch!

Our young children have always been very nervous. Staff have been kind, patient, and gracious. They've been able to help our kids relax. I've always had a good, pain free visit. Staff have always been friendly. My questions haven't been bothersome and we've felt like part of the family. The office provides several extras to welcome patients, such as welcome messages, offering water or coffee, and always asking if there is anything we need. Front desk staff have also been kind and billing team members have always helped with questions and insurance troubles. Staff have gone out of their way to provide a good experience. Even though our insurance doesn't cover everything and we could go elsewhere to get that, the family service keeps us here. Thank you Kami, Elyse, and Dr John.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McMahon and his staff are top notch! They make sure all your needs are met and all your questions are answered. They go out of their way by using technology to show you the issues you have and what they have done to solve them. There is no worry about overworking of your teeth because they will show you the problem areas on their large tv screens. They also have very quick turn around time on same day crowns. They use their in-house scanning and CNC machining process to produce an amazingly accurate representation of your tooth. Some of my crowns from them are over 3 years old and I’ve never had a problem with them. If you are looking for a new dentist that is using the best technology, a friendly professional staff, I suggest McMahon.

She made me feel at ease, and truly cared for. And because I was numb already, Dr. John put in a new crown that afternoon, he is truly the best around. Experiencia fantástica: Went to see Dr. John for emergency tooth pain and later saw Laura for a cleaning. They were able to fit me in quickly and took care of all my dental needs in one visit! Including getting a permanent crown placed!! During the procedure I was very comfortable with weighted and fleece blankets. Dr. John was thorough and explained the plan of care in a way I could understand. Laura was very gentle with the cleaning and considerate of my gum sensitivity. Everyone at the office from front desk staff, assistants, hygienist, and the dentist were all extremely kind and professional. I will be going back in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: I discovered this practice after having 21 crowns completed in my mouth while on a winter visit to Arizona. The dentist in Arizona was awesome, but I needed to find someone near me in Michigan to continue my care. McMahon Family Dental has been great! A beautiful office, kind and caring staff, and a wonderful dentist! Dr. John has placed 4 additional crowns in my mouth and has been helping me with any necessary adjustments needed from the work I had done in Arizona. My husband and I are now devoted patients at McMahon Family Dental! I would highly recommend them!!

The staff is incredible and SO welcoming. They do an amazing job of communicating what they see, and showing you pictures of what they’ve found, etc. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The process of using the straightening aligners was very easy with little effort on my part, and the custom smile contouring included at the end really improved the symmetry of my smile. I am so happy I decided to go with Sure Smile at Dr. McMahons office!

They make going to the dentist very comfortable, but most importantly, they are AWESOME at what they do! Experiencia fantástica: Today I had to have a crown procedure done and I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! For those of you who dislike the dentist and are skeptical, I use to be right there with you, but now with the experience I had today, it’s literally pain free, no more are the days of feeling anxious and terrified! Dr. John has you sitting in a spa like setting, you get a eye and head massage the entire time which allows you to relax, head phones with noise cancellation listening to the music on your cell phone, and had I known they do a paraffin hand treatment before I started I would have had that done as well! Just one numbing injection which I never felt because they numb the injection area first. If you have to have work done on your teeth, I definitely recommend going to Dr. John! 4hrs later and I feel as if I never went to the dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Simply put, this was the greatest dental experience I’ve ever had. My dental insurance covered other offices but they always lacked something, professionalism, technology, etc. eventually I said ‘enough is enough’ and went to the McMahon office. While my insurance was not in network there the office really worked with me with their in house discount called MFD and that made it affordable and convenient. The hygienists there are so knowledgeable and helpful. In the past I’ve been with hygienists who just got me in fiddled around and then sent me on my way. Not at McMahon the hygienist, Heather, really took care of me she explained everything she was doing. Walked me through my X-rays, explained my options. Then at the end she explained the pros and cons of dental supplies so I knew the best ones to get for my situation. The office itself is so advanced they have something that builds custom crowns and a 3d printer. Even the front desk staff is polite! From what I saw they welcomed people by name. The lady I spoke to, Randalee, greets me every time I come in now by name and it makes me feel like I’m at home. I saw DR John and he was very informative and easy to talk to I didn’t feel like he was lecturing me like other dentists but instead treating me like a colleague.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely fantastic experience! Never have I felt so at home and relaxed at a dentist office…that is until I came here. As soon as I entered and said I had an appointment, I was taken on a tour of their elegant and cozy office. I came straight from my construction job and had on work clothes but never did I feel judged or looked down upon by any of the staff. Heather did a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth and just being extremely down to earth with me. Her genuine approach to customer service made me grateful to have chosen McMahon Family Dental. I will be looking forward to my next visit and working wit Dr John who is yet another fantastic guy to be around!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at McMahon Family Dental for 25 years. Now my family of 7 are all patients here. I have always had great care and the appropriate treatment as needed. I can’t say enough about the doctors as well as all the staff either. The office has a fantastic family friendly vibe and I have never once felt mistreated or uncared for. Now my 5 kiddos and husband receive the same experience and as a mom I feel so comfortable that my kids are getting such good care! I highly recommend this office! They feel like family!

Experiencia fantástica: Being that I manage the office you would expect a good review! However, I have been in dentistry a long time and this is probably the most thorough cleaning I have EVER had. Jocelyn was amazing!! Yes I manage the office but I also have some dental anxieties and she just made me & my teeth feel great!! I also loved how Dr John explained things in my dental care that I never knew! If I worked in this office or not this is definitely the place to be! Top notch team, top notch care! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!
