Any explanations of work being done is thoroughly explained before the dentist examines my teeth. From my very first visit, it has been a pleasant experience. Everyone from the office staff (Melissa, Christiana, Rachelle), the dental assistant (Rossy), to Dr. Deford has been nothing less than exceptional. Even the newest addition to the office staff Amanda was a pleasure to deal with. They have a great attention to detail and are sure to provide the best care possible. As someone with dental anxiety I can say they go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with a pain free visit.

I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was greeted upon arrival. I was taken back to get started at the time the appointment was scheduled to begin. The appointment was completed in a timely manner without complication. All the charges and coverage were laid out in advance in writing, so no surprises. My dentist, Dr. DeFord offered to clean my teeth instead of causing me to reschedule my appointment. Of course, I accepted and she did a wonderful job. Now that is excellent patient care!

He and his staff are extraordinary.

The both times were excusable offenses in my opinion. First I was sick ( can’t possibly go when you have a cough and a cold) and second was a winter storm. Anyway I finally decided to get over it and good thing because I had the best service , best cleaning I have ever received. Best ever. Denise did very well. I will give another hygienist a chance in my next visit, so we will see, maybe the 1 year of not getting a professional cleaning really made a difference and I was just feeling the benefit of it. And usual Dr dua is always a pleasant visit.

No doubt I hate the dentist but they made my experience at least tolerable. 1 grip is I will be in debt for quite a long time and I have dental insurance, which Im sure is out of their control for the most part. Kudos to them for overcoming my anxiety and making me recommit to the health of my teeth regardless of the expense.

Experiencia negativa: Overall, my experience at the dental office was similar to any other. However, I was not informed that they did not accept my dental insurance until weeks later. I received a phone call from someone whose name I do not recall. During the call, she asked me, "Do you have the money to pay, yes or no?" I found this approach to be both rude and unprofessional.

They stepped up to make room for a x-ray of the afflicted area and Dr. Dua walked in to deliver his no nonsense assessment. Advanced gum disease! A specialist is in the cards and I only hope he might include finding one in Midtown Manhatten!
