I’ve always been pretty nervous about going to the dentist, but Dr. Sogol Biroon made me feel really calm and comfortable during my visit. She took the time to explain things and made the whole experience way less stressful than I expected. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend Dakota Dental, especially if you get anxious about dental appointments.

She used the water tool and I don't think I have ever seen my teeth look so white after a cleaning. In the past Julie has always done a fantastic job with my care. Experiencia fantástica: I must admit, everyone, from the front desk, to the Doctor, were Class Act!!! I am a wreck when it comes to going to the dentist! I felt VERY at ease. I loved the experience, and only wish I could afford to have my work done there.

Experiencia negativa: I was made to sit and wait in the room for 20 mins after x-ray was taken with no updates until the doctor came to attend. I had submitted all required forms online but was asked to refill at the clinic as they said they couldn't find it. Felt they are unorganized. Even scheduling with hygienist was a challenge to the front desk and I had to leave as they had already delayed my appointment so much.

Experiencia negativa: I understand that prices are high and fixing my bottom row of teeth will cost thousands of dollars, but my upper plate was not made properly and I just don't think I should have to pay to have it fixed. I didn't know that it should have been up higher in the back or I would have said so.

I booked a consultation for an implant procedure that had failed. I was impressed with the personable service I received. The doctor gave me alternatives and explained them in detail with X-ray's. After my consult the finance dept met with me explaining again in detail what would be involved. I have selected them to do the work.

I called at 8:30 am with an infected tooth that I was putting off. I was in their office by 1:00 pm to have them relieve my pain. Very professional, and KIND. Genuine kind! I’m 64 years old and have had many dentists, but this is my best practice with so much skill, knowledge, kindness, understanding, and true concern for my well being. I can’t find the words to say how deeply I feel about my dentist and my hygienist. Both are so excellent!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I would rather rip my teeth out one by one than ever return to this dentist office. I have been going here and spent thousands of dollars here over the last decade of life. My family has come here and I have mistakenly referred friends here who have had similar feelings/experiences. They have always made me feel the only thing that they care About is their bottom dollar and what procedure they can bill before next. I am extremely sensitive about going to the dentist, which not a lot of people enjoy, but I have extreme fear of going to the dentist. Dr Isabella has never taken this seriously for mine or my family’s appointments at all, and was literally laughing in my face because I was terrified and traumatized during an exam when informing me updates on my teeth. During this appointment, he yet again recommended an extensive procedure that does not yet need to come to fruition. So I said I would go to another dentist in the practice for a second opinion. I went back to have a procedure done by Dr. Weber, who i thought was compassionate (BOY WAS I WRONG) and listened to my story and encouraged me to provide my feedback in my experience to their “office manager Teresa” and so I did that. (Another mistake) I met with the “office manager Teresa” about my experience and touched on another one I had with Dr. Isabella previously and she Was exceptionally dismissive about all of my concerns that I brought up and gaslit me telling me that my feelings were valid to myself alone. Absolutely no accountability was taken and no apology given. I have always paid online or been billed online for my procedures and I have never had an outstanding bill with them over 10 years. Either I was profiled because I’m younger and a woman of color (probably both) or the office manager was having a bad day today and attempted to force me to pay before leaving and even though I have never done that before. Mind you they overbillrd me over $900 one time so they had to pay me back in form of a check. And then called me rude for asking her a simple question why this was different than the previous times I had come. In the same breath of her saying that they’re not about the bottom dollar she literally was demanding a measly amount of money from me when they could just bill me online. Additionally, in response to trying to provide feedback on their service, I was sent a letter in the mail telling me to go to the dentist elsewhere. I cannot say emphatically enough that they recommend things that you do not need and really make you feel like the only thing they care about is making money off of you. And then to follow that up when you share feedback with them, they gaslight you and try to make it your fault and then treat you even more like a dollar on your way out the door. I will 150% never go back to this clinic and they should be ashamed to call themselves a family dentist. RUN FARRR AWAY FROM THEM!!! Update: they literally go so far as to lie in their in their response to my review. They will pretty much do anything and everything to avoid accountability or resolution. This woman Teresa literally called me rude for asking her three questions. She had flipped flipped on her policies and information 3 times. Their practice owner (Dr. Isabella) literally joked and laughed at my face during extreme anxiety and panic. Absolutely egregious behavior by office staff and the dentists. Apparently asking questions is rude and unprofessional. The fact that a middle aged man and woman can cause so much ruckus over being asked a question and a dentist treating such a long standing customer so badly says everything you need to know about this practice. HILARIOUS. Like i said do not go here.

Experiencia negativa: It was a very frustrating ordeal! I hand delivered a release of my medical records to the office so that by the time my appointment came around they would be informed. The receptionist never sent the release form over to my previous dental office. Also I ended up leaving my appointment because I was waiting for 45 min. The dental assistant reeked of cigarettes. She kept making excuses for all of their mistakes. Probably won’t be returning!

I knew the implant was needed, but felt so comfortable and listened to after a not so great experience. My implant on is a front tooth and is undetectable and healed so well. No one would ever know! I have since switched my whole family here. They listen, all the staff is amazing and never push fluoride which is important to me and my family.

During my visit, I was more comfortable than I have ever been at a dentist and everyone who worked with me was very gentle and respectful. I had been with a different dentist in an office farther from my home so made the change and I’m glad I did.

Experiencia negativa: This is probably the saddest review I've ever had to write. I have been going to this dentist for years with great care. With my last visit I called and let them know that I was going to be 15 minutes late do too unforeseen circumstances. The woman that answered the phone which was someone that I had never spoke with before told me that I was going to have to reschedule. Knowing that they have a grace period I said goodbye to her and I called back. When calling back the second time the same person did not answer. So I told that person that I was going to be 15 minutes late and that the woman that I had spoke with told me that I needed to reschedule. The second woman told me that I had a 15 minute grace period. And that I could still come. So I told her I was coming. When I got there the visit went just fine. For some reason though they only did my teeth cleaning instead of fixing a tooth that they were supposed to fix at the same visit. Stating that they just didn't have enough time today. After my appointment I scheduled three more appointments for throughout the year with their scheduler in office. I left and got text confirmation letting me know that my appointments were scheduled. And then 3 days later I got a letter in the mail stating that because of a breakdown in our doctor patient relationship that they are no longer going to give me care and that I would be better helped elsewhere. No explanation. They said nothing when I was in office. They acted like everything was fine. I did nothing for them to stop taking me as a patient other than letting them know that I was going to get there within their grace period. From what I thought my dentist and I had a good relationship. I've never had to go through anything like this before and I'm not sure what to say. I think the scariest part is that they were in the process of reconstructing pretty much my whole mouth. They got all of the back stuff that needs to be done and all that's left is front teeth and now I have to go to a new place not knowing if they're going to do well. Another scary thing is that I told them that I was in pain when I was there and they didn't fix my tooth even though my appointment that day was made special to be able to have them fix it. They know that I'm in pain and that I need care and are not giving it now. I also need them to fill out paperwork for my insurance and I have left them two voicemails and they won't return my phone calls. How can you go from super caring to just not caring at all? Just sad. UPDATE- AFTER COMING BACK TO CHECK MY REVIEW FOR A RESPONSE THEY HAVE RESPONDED TO OTHER PEOPLE THAT PUT UP REVIEWS AFTER MINE BUT HAVE STILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGED ME OR CALLED ME AFTER MY TWO VOICEMAILS. ALSO AFTER LOOKING AT THE LETTER THAT THEY SENT ME IT WAS SENT BY A DENTIST THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW. SOME EXPLANATION WOULD BE NICE..

I had never liked the dentist and was certainly anxious to find a new practice to go to. Luckily I found Dakota. They were so non-judgmental and gentle that I truly felt they gave me the best care! I needed some work done and they walked me through cost, insurance, and appointments, and answered any questions without hesitation. The work was done with no issues or complications what-so-ever. I then took my son for his first-ever dentist visit (age 3); they were so great with him! Friendly, informative, and kind, it was an awesome experience for him. Truly, from reception to the exam room, you meet the nicest people. I have total trust in my care at Dakota! (Update from when I first wrote this but apparently never submitted it: my son is now 5 and was SO excited to go to his dentist appt today!)

The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and Dr. Isabella, in particular, is one of the best dentists in Minnesota.
