Experiencia negativa: One of the worst locations in America. I don’t recommend. I’ve had my braces for 4 years. The orthodontist did not let me know that the longer they are in the more damage it causes to your teeth. I’ve had so many dental problems ever since. These providers are suppose to educate their clients but instead they just want you to pay. They don’t truly care CUSTOMER SUPPRT IS THE WORSE IVE SEEN. IVE CALLED THIS LOCATION OVER 20 times and I went in begging to remove my braces she told me to wait while it damages my braces even more I don’t recommend please find a providers that can actually take the time to help and fix your teeth and office that cares they do not. I’ve sent emails to the higher ups because there’s no way no one in this companies cares. The front office needs to rehire people who care and aren’t lazy

My dental assistant was amazing and made me feel super comfortable. My Dental Hygienist was great, explained everything, and answered some questions I had about a dental hygiene routine. The Dentist made it clear what I need to do going forward. Looking forward to visiting again.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best dental office I have gone to in a long time, I appreciate all the time and effort that goes into saving my teeth. I am 76 and my one wish is to keep my own teeth as long as possible. Both my parents wore dentures, I work hard on my teeth but they still keep having problems, last month I had to have a tooth pulled, first one since reaching age 16......but I was given a few good suggestions and I am going to do these things gladly. The first is to buy a water flosser, second is to add a cleaning in 4 months, hoping this will help to save my teeth. This is a great place to have care for your teeth, I am fortunate to have found this office. Thank you to the dentist, the wonderful lady who cleaned my teeth and the office staff who go out of there way to help you through the paperwork! Experiencia negativa: I’m absolutely heartbroken over my experience at Great Expressions Reynoldsburg (2058 OH-256)—and everyone needs to hear this. I came in for what I thought was a simple crown appointment. No one explained that it would involve permanently shaving down one of my front teeth—my most visible tooth—until it was already done. There was no clear explanation, no real informed consent, and absolutely no preparation for how life-changing this would be. The temporary crown they gave me? Yellow. Crooked. Nothing like my actual teeth. When I calmly voiced that it didn’t look right, the assistant—Kayla Page—became hostile and aggressive. She actually told me to “just suck it up” and walked off mid-procedure. I started recording at that point because I genuinely felt unsafe and disrespected. Even the front desk staff looked horrified when they saw my tooth. The dentist admitted it didn’t look right and tried to fix it himself—but the damage was already done. What’s worse is that I left the office with no documentation, no names, no explanation of what was done, and no plan. I still don’t even know who the actual dentist was that worked on me. I’ve been crying ever since. This has left me emotionally traumatized, just days before two important trips. My smile was one of the few things I actually felt confident about—and now I feel disfigured and humiliated. Trying to reach someone higher up has also been a nightmare. I’ve sent formal complaints and called, but getting in touch with anyone who has actual authority is next to impossible. There is zero accountability here, and it shows in how they treat patients. I’ve filed official complaints and am exploring legal action. If you value your face, your mental health, or just being treated like a human being—run the other way. This place should not be trusted with cosmetic or restorative dental work under any circumstances.

Experiencia negativa: Worst dentist ever! We took my daughter 12 there for about a year or tried to, & the only good dentist there left after only a few months. The other 2 dentist they use are awful and don’t help with anything then the admins there have no clue what they do for their jobs and can’t ever actual call you back. They seriously canceled every appointment after I started asking for normal information dentist give and did that to us 5 appointments in a row! DO NOT GO HERE! Trash! The place is kind of gross to, mold on base boards, sink looks old and dirty, pain chips all over. Just really run down.

My son and I had appointments on the same day and both were cancelled, which was not surprising considering my husband made an appointment with them twice and both were cancelled. My son and I rescheduled our appointments for a week later. We arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. My son went back first and the dental hygienist performed his cleaning. I went back and the dentist looked at my teeth and x-rays that were sent from my prior dentist office. He told the dental staff that I only needed a cleaning. Once my son’s cleaning was complete, the dental hygienist brought him to the dentist room where I was located. I asked if the dentist looked at his teeth and she said no. The dentist had already left for the day…it was only 3:30 and had just been in my dentist room. Why did he not do a professional review of the work completed by the dental hygienist before leaving? I was then notified by the dental hygienist that she would not be able to clean my teeth today. I questioned this since I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. She said she could not do it and pawned me off to the front desk receptionist. No logical reason was given for the decision to not perform the cleaning and for the dentist not checking my son’s teeth. In addition to the chaos that occurred the day of the appointment, I was notified by the dentist office the day of my previous cancelled appointment that they could not verify my insurance. I provided the insurance info to them again. On my rescheduled appointment date, I was notified 1 hour before my appointment time that they could not verify my insurance. Why did they not contact me sooner to discuss? I was told to contact the insurance company because they were told the insurance company did not recognize me. I called the insurance company and immediately connected to a customer representative which assisted me. I connected the call to the dentist office and the insurance company quickly provided the information to the dentist office. Literally in less than 5 minutes…no issues at all. Therefore, I am not sure what issues the dentist office was experiencing when trying to verify insurance coverage. We will not be going back to this dentist office and will definitely never recommend them to anyone.

Office could use some updates but nothing that screams run away. The front desk staff are attentive and great you when you walk in the door.

Experiencia negativa: Shouldn’t say ‘accepting new patients’ if you don’t have time to speak with them. It was very difficult to communicate to even get an initial appointment set up. The rep on the phone talked over me through the entire conversation. She would ask me a question and in the middle of my answer she started talking again, every time. Dental care can be so expensive so I need to feel like I understand what’s happening. I expressed that she was talking over me and she continued to do so even after apologizing. It felt like they were in a rush and I would hate for my in person experience to be like that so I will be finding another dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Staff is great, but the Dentist is horrible. I’ve been rescheduled 5 times and my daughter has been rescheduled just as many times. I’m not sure what’s going on, but it’s gotten beyond ridiculous. My daughter’s temporary cap fell off while she was at school today, because of the absurd amount of time it’s taken to get her in there.not to mention I’ve been waiting 3 months to get filling filled and a cleaning. I do not recommend this office to anyone. UPDATE 4/26/25- So we reached out to customer care and nothing. These people don’t care about your experience. They haven’t offered any kind of compensation for time lost at work or any of the other inconveniences. It’s pretty bad when the dentist in question tells the staff he was fired for insubordination from his previous job, and yet there’s no accountability for Great Expressions hiring this guy. I lost 7 days of work over this mess and I still haven’t gotten my original cleaning appointment done. I have to go to an office 45 minutes from my house just to get the work finished. So, you can add that I the list of inconveniences too. My sister is a lawyer thankfully, and she’s looking into filing complaints with whatever Dental boards apply. I’m not letting this go. Especially since I’ve paid full price for all of their so called services. Not one discount, or offer of any compensation for my time and frustration.

The last two times, no one even told me — I showed up after driving 20 minutes from home just to find out the doctor wasn’t there. Today, they claim they called me to cancel, but I have no missed calls, and I even called them this morning to confirm because they’ve already rescheduled me twice due to the doctor being out sick. This level of disorganization and disrespect for people’s time is outrageous. I’ve never dealt with a more unprofessional office. Don’t waste your time here — clearly, they have no problem wasting yours.

Experiencia positiva: The dental assistant was amazing. She was very attentive and very kind to talk with. The doctor was not as pleasant didn’t have much to say. The appointment went a lot different than what I’m used to. When the doctor came into the room he barely did anything . He applied fluoride. I was expecting more of a conversation to let me know how I’m doing. How is the Health of my teeth. How are my gums? Felt like he was just ready to go home. I’ve been going to this location for years. It’s saddens me that they always switch doctors due to the contracts ending in 1 year.

During my first visit over 4 months ago I explained to every that I was terrified to just walk through the door. I had to have 2 deep cleaning sessions (while medicated so I could actually sit still in the chair and not panic). The woman who did those treatments was so kind to me, explaining everything, stopping when she knew I was getting anxious. The entire staff has been exceptional from the first day I walked in the door. I’m am so happy to say I had to get a filling yesterday and I did it all on my own, no medicine and no panic attack. Dr Rachel Maynor is the best! I immediately felt at ease when she walked in the room and just started talking to me about nothing like she had known me for a long time. I highly recommend this location!!

Experiencia negativa: Avoid! I went for a whitening treatment. The dental tech burned my gums so badly that they peeled for over a week. I called the dentist who said I didn’t complain during the treatment enough so it was my fault (gaslighting). The tech also awkwardly watched me for the ten minutes the treys were in which made me so uncomfortable. They said they would call me back but never did. Really horrible service and unprofessional staff. Go anywhere else!

Experiencia negativa: PLEASE AVOID dealing with any great expressions office, especially this one. They are all money hungry, but most importantly unprofessional. I've visited this office numerous of times and as I can recall there was a couple of times where the front desk lady had an attitude while speaking to me, and they asked for a pre-payment for a no call no show, even when there was a time the DR wasn't even at the office the time of my appointment! I had an appt Tuesday and the place smelt like a SEWER. They were all gossiping about other employees and the environment just seemed NEG. RED FLAG. I left then told them I would book at their other location. Days later I book my appt and 30 mins after they said I would have to make a pre payment due to a no call no show from my last appointment HAHA. How is that a No call No show when I was in the office but I chose to leave on my own?? Like I said rip offs. Go elsewhere, with better treatment and better customer service. We deserve it. Not to be treated with no respect just because they hate their jobs or may be a bit racist. WHO KNOWS.

Experiencia negativa: Don't go to this dentist!!!! Ratings are horrible everywhere. I went to the since pieces had chipped off my #2 tooth. I wasn't in any pain. I was hoping to get a filling. They told me I needed crowns on the #2 and #3 teeth. Both teeth I've had crowns on previous have broken. So I didn't want to get one. I got one, and it came off in less than a year. Insurance wouldn't pay for another crown unless it's been 5 years. Got a 2nd crown. It hurt badly from the start. After 6 months I currently have an abscess under the crown. I switched dentists hoping another dentist would be better. I was told the crown was incorrectly placed causing the abscess. I wish I had never had anything done. The nightmare continues. I got a root canal. But I got a second abscess afterwards. The pain makes it difficult to work. I emailed the address given. I got no response.

Experiencia fantástica: From the check in, to the procedure, the staff is so very welcoming and educational. I have never had a dentist ask me so many times am I ok just to check. I was actually looking forward to my visit today and despite having work done I left with a smile.

Experiencia negativa: Very unorganized from Friday to monday managed to lose my paperwork then I filled more out and my appointment was at 8 am and I was waiting to have new paperwork scanned in the girl left the front and was in the back talking to the gentleman then for the doctor to come and say they didn’t know how sending my dentures out to a lab after saying they knew I would never recommend this company to anyone very unprofessional I have taken days off of work thinking the employees knew what they were doing I believe I will be finding a new dentist the only reason I gave one star is because it would not allow me to submit it without marking one

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would. The dentist himself, Dr.Shirwac, is great! However the office staff, customer service, and billing is 100% the worst experience Ive ever had with any company. They made me pay up front because "my insurance required it" (False). They just didn't submit the claim... Even though they assured me they did. 6 months later, still trying to get $500 they overbilled me back after I worked with my insurance to get them the claim documentation myself. Stay away.

Were getting your upper denture done. ☆☆☆☆ 4/12/23 Things are looking better. They got a new dentist. Still without my dentures but they both our being worked on at the sane time. Its been 9 months. Allie the dentist assistant is the greatest!! If it wasn't for her. She knows what she's doing and can run that whole office. She answers phones, books appointments, assists w/ Dr., checks people in and out. She deserves a BIG raise!!

Experiencia fantástica: I found this place because I changed jobs and had new insurance and they had advertised they do implants. I had met with the Reynoldsburg staff and had some work done. We talked about the implants and then I went to the north location had the implant posts set and back to Reynoldsburg the staff are very helpful and friendly. 6 months later the Reynoldsburg office dentist l placed the implants I absolutely recommend doing this if u can . The dentist does an excellent job very thorough. If u are looking for a great dentist check them out.
