Experiencia negativa: Leaving a review on my husband's behalf- had an appt for today 6/11 for 7a received a confirmation call and email earlier this week. Just to get up there door locked and building closed he waiting until 7:30-7:35 called and left voicemail. Here it is currently 10:30a still no call back for even a rescheduled appointment very unprofessional and sad considering I've gone here multiple times and recommended him here hoping he could have a good experience too. Who wants to wake up early, waste time and gas? Do better or update your hours and do not accept appointments for time slots you're not open!

Experiencia negativa: Front desk associate was extremely rude and unprofessional. She hung up on me multiple times and placed me on hold immediately after answering the phone without even greeting me or explaining why. I was simply trying to get assistance, but the interaction made me feel like my time and concerns were not valued. Customer service starts at the front desk, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Melissa Calderon has made my experience the worst ever. I initially came to her for a chipped tooth repair. She never repaired my chipped tooth, instead she said I needed a crown on two other teeth. Her and the assistant scared me into getting it done as soon as possible. Although these teeth NEVER gave me any problems I decided to take her advice. On 2/10/2026 I went to get the crowns installed. As she was working on my back molar tooth for the crown fitting, she just stopped abruptly in the middle of the procedure to nonchalantly tell me the tooth needs to be EXTRACTED. Again, this tooth has never given me any problems as far as pain or bleeding. I asked her why do I need to have it extracted? I mentioned to her that I'd been seeing a dentist regularly, and I was never told that the tooth was a problem. She had no explanation, but I still had to pay! and I left very unsettled! She scheduled an appointment that same day for me to get an extraction at Bluff City Orthopedics. Luckily, the surgeon there recommended I get a second opinion on the extraction. I seen several other dentists after Dr. Calderon, and they ALL stated that I do NOT need a tooth extraction. I was able to get a crown. If you ever visit this dental office I recommend that you do not see Melissa Calderon. She does not care about her patients and all she wants is money, whether you have a dental issue or not!

She still argued, claiming they would only pay $50. She seemed eager for me to pay thousands of dollars for a service that my insurance partially covers. I think she was lazy and didn’t want to handle the claim process. The other employees seemed friendly.

Her staff is also very nice. Shelby has been my hygienist for awhile and is great. My daughter just stating coming here from her pediatric dentist and loves it. She even got Invisalign with Dr. Calderon. Highly highly recommend this office!

Since my molars were unevenly shaved down, I’ve had to get dental work constantly for the past year. I’ve been to the dentist over ten times, and it feels like my mouth will never be the same. I had no dental issues before coming here.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk workers were great! The hygienist that my daughter saw was unprepared and rough. My daughter didn’t have many positives to mention about the doctor either. This was supposed to be a simple cleaning. I even noticed bits of paste between her teeth that wasn’t properly removed. We will go back to Dr. Wilson at the Poplar location where our previous hygienists are wonderful, friendly and gentle.

Experiencia negativa: I called this dental office to make sure they accepted my dental insurance and that everything would be covered (cleaning and X-rays) after assuring me they did I made an appointment for routine cleaning. During the cleaning they tried to get me to purchase things and services that I did not need. They were attempting to up sale services that were not needed. A couple of weeks later I received a text and a bill regarding making a payment. When I called concerning the bill I was told that I had to pay it. CUSTOMER BEWARE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The dental hygienist was wonderful. She was super nice and friendly, and she was very thorough and explained everything, including new technology and equipment. The 3D scanner thing is very cool. I needed a couple fillings and a crown put on a tooth that had a silver filling from 30 years ago (it was deteriorating). Today I had that work done, and they were great again. My only previous experience (somewhere else) with getting a crown was not pleasant, but this dentist was fabulous. I definitely recommend this group, and they are accepting Cigna DHMO again, which is tough to find in this area. I highly recommend Dr. Melissa Calderon and team in Cordova.
