1 month ago Experiencia fantástica: First time there today and little did I know, it was the dentist that checked me in! Like, the receptionist wasn’t at her desk, the doctor saw me and helped me and then when she introduced herself as the doctor during the exam, I was VERY impressed! I love a leader that does everything she asks of her team. The young lady that took my X-rays was so gentle! No one loves the dentist but I feel like this will be the exception. I’m so glad the first dentist I called didn’t answer! Receptionist was kind, friendly and informative on charges. Dentist was gentle, encouraging and professional Xray (I’m so sorry, I’m not sure your position) gentle, quick, cheery Seriously, great!!

Dr. S has been managing my dental care and I have had nothing but the best care from her practice. It is evident that she and her staff are always putting their best foot forward to ensure the highest quality care for their patients. It has made me want to be a better patient for them as well. I have learned how much of a two way street is, and if my experience can help anyone else that this is a two way street and that the better we work as patients to understand how hard this staff works to take care of us than there will be no question that this office is of the highest caliber. 1 month ago Experiencia negativa: They sent me off to get my teeth cleand some where else when i was done they where stapose to see me again for teeth replacement and now they where trying to send me some where else when they where stapose to do it there not 9nly that it tock one week and a half for them to answer phone to make appointment no call back after repeted messages what a dissapointment

3 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I had such a wonderful experience and highly recommend Rio Rancho Smiles. The entire staff- from the front desk, to the X-ray assistant to the hygienist to the dentist- everyone was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They all made sure to explain everything- from the billing to what my x-rays revealed. Going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing to do but the experience was much more pleasant that I anticipated and I already booked my next 6 month check up. Thank you!

The office was very clean and organized. Also, a lot of compassion was shown for dental anxiety and they offered me some tricks to help me deal with it. I never like going to the dentist, but they made it as enjoyable as possible.

All staff members were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Shokoohi will be my new dentist. She is friendly and has a good sense of humor. She explained very well the work I needed done. If you’re looking for a dentist. I highly recommend her.

6 months ago Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience! My partner called in for an appointment. Told them specifically what she needed. When she got there they did everything but help. They don't even do what she called and requested the appointment for! They told her itbwould be a referral. Why not be up front when appointment was being made instead of finding ways to pad their pocket books. Waste of time! She's still in pain and is defeated by the experience. Thank you for absolutely nothing!

6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I shopped around for dentists. Went to Enchanted Hills, they had horrible follow up and acted like they didn’t care. Went to Gherardi & Moore, they failed to check insurance prior to showing up for an appointment and acted like they didn’t care! Rio Rancho Smiles got me in quick. They were prepared when I showed up, detailed, efficient and quick. The most professional, down to earth dentist I have been to in New Mexico! Thank you!

7 months ago Experiencia negativa: had a great experience with the actual dentist, but the hygienist made me feel really bad both times about my teeth when i went. i had contemplated posting this but i just wanted to share how much it personally impacted me. i struggle with depressive symptoms and my teeth definitely reflect that, but the comments from professionals did not make me feel heard or seen. when i stated i would like to cancel my appointment over the phone, the lady asked if i would like to reschedule which i politely declined and she replied rudely and hung up. i also was told my insurance would cover my bill after asking multiple times because i cannot afford it, and surprise surprise. my bill came in the mail. $600+. im really sad because i wanted to support a woman owned business, and this is what i got.

They are quick, precise, understanding, and kind. They know exactly what they are doing when it comes to your dental care and hygiene, and most importantly (for me), they are free of judgment, honest, and always take care of each patient individually. They really are caring people. They remember me, make conversations, and help me be better when it comes to my teeth. If you are considering a dental office with these wonderful qualities, please try this one. I have never been happier with a dentist before. Also the office was beautifully decorated and had a calming effect on me. Seriously, it was the best dentist I have been to.

8 months ago Experiencia negativa: I went to Rio Rancho Smiles because I had a broken tooth. At the time, they took care of me and removed it. Before I left, they gave me an out-the-door price. They billed my insurance and I paid the remaining balance in cash like I was told. Everything was supposedly paid and done. Six months later, out of nowhere, they started sending me a bill saying I still owe them money. I called and asked what the bill was even for since I haven’t been back to the dentist. They told me it was for that same visit. I explained that I already paid exactly what they told me to pay that day. Now they won’t stop harassing me with bills and text messages trying to charge me more money. This feels extremely dishonest and unprofessional. If there was an issue with billing, it should have been handled at the time, not half a year later. I DO NOT recommend this place. If you decide to go here, be very careful and watch out for hidden charges. It feels like they are more than willing to rip people off after the fact.

8 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Definitely would recommend this dentist! Her and her staff are incredible, professional and show exceptional care for her patients. December 8, 2025 six months later and extremely satisfied that I made the move!! Doc and her staff are wonderful and make dentist visits something to look forward to even if I’m not always consistent & the best caretaker of my teeth, I can be honest without being shamed! Definitely recommend!!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Breath of fresh air !!! I needed emergency work and consulting and when I say these lady's were super amazing I don't say it lightly . From the phone call the day before . To the smiles and friendly faces awaiting my arrival. I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist before . Everyone was easy going and insightful and super acomidating to my uneasiness about being at the dentist . We laughed, we gasped , and most of all they got the job done ! I will forever recommend Rio rancho smiles to my abq family . I only wish I could steal them out to Dallas where I am from because I only want them to work on my teeth from here on out . Don't hesitate just call them you won't be disappointed

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit with Rio Rancho Smiles under their new name. CeCe is a wonderful hygienist. She is gentle, very caring, and thorough. It takes a long time to clean and examine my teeth and she was patient the entire time. Dr. Antani was likewise very nice and took the time to answer any questions I had without being in a rush. The office is exceptionally clean and hi-tech. If you're looking for a new dentist, this is a great place. Update on 3/17/2025: Dr. S just recently acquired Rio Rancho Smiles. I really like her; she's a great dentist. She is very professional, straightforward and honest. The office is very organized and I never wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. Another good thing is that she's young, so maybe she won't retire or leave the city any time soon and I can count on her being my dentist for the next 20 or 30 years.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience at Rio Rancho Smiles with Dr. Shokoohi. I chipped my front tooth and called their office, and in less than 24 hours, my tooth was perfectly fixed! Completely pain-free!

The office was very clean and scheduling was very easy to do. Nobody tried to push any products or sell any unnecessary services. I will definitely be going back!
