Experiencia negativa: I went there for a couple of years, maybe 6-8 appointments total. One morning my son had a dentist appointment so I picked him up from school and took him to realize he didnt have one, I actually had one. I called them during my appointment time to let them know of my mistake and apologized (I would never intentionally miss an appointment and never had missed one there before,). The next appointment i had with them they said I had a fee to pay. They said i need to pay a $100 missed appointment fee. I said what? For a first missed appointment? I explained the story and asked for the office manager to review. They decided to keep it on and kept sending me texts with that bill. I asked to talk to one of the dentists. They gave me a hard time about it. I said you know what, clearly you guys don't care. I would understand if it was a second missed appointment but it's not. Never got to speak to the dentist. They dont care. Clearly it's money over their patients at that practice. I will gladly find a different dentist who isn't so cold. I've never been charged a missed visit fee for anywhere. Almost all places that I know of state they don't charge for a first missed appointment fee (but clearly you do) but will charge for a second. Still trying to collect the $100 and submitted to a collection agency. Changing the review from 2 stars to 1 star. They are clearly not from VT. Most VT business owners I know have compassion. A little compassion goes a long way. Weird vibe there overall. Very expensive. I do not recommend at all.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist refuses to take responsibility or offer an apology. She’s never wrong in any of her responses. Must be nice to be beyond reproach. The front staff were rude, and not helpful. Update: I witnessed your rude staff when I brought in my relative. You seem to have the same attitude. No worries, we already found another dentist that has friendly staff and dentists.

Experiencia negativa: My mother had a very upsetting and rude interaction with the receptionist at this practice. She refused to assist with the electronic tablet to answer medical history etc. How disappointing that seniors unfamiliar with technology are not offered a paper option. This practice even had the audacity to bill her for a no-show after leaving appointment. WOW! There must be a kinder more helpful practice in Brattleboro! Reply to owner- I wish I didn't live three states away from my mother. Maybe one of your three receptionist could have offered assistance! Your replies to criticism lack onus and care. The two dental assistants, Haley and Violet, took needed x-rays and were very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable They put me at ease immediately. Dr. Ganatra was a gem as usual. She has such a friendly personality. She explained very clearly what we were viewing in the x-rays. She answered all my questions and then some. I highly recommend Brattleboro Dental Care.

I always leave feeling that they have my best interest and my best dental health in mind.

Experiencia positiva: The dentist office is dirty, there is spit and particles on the light they move around your face while looking at your teeth, the staff is fine, not friendly or unfriendly, just there. No socializing. I was in and out in 15 minutes, my teeth looked and felt the same walking in as they did walking out. I love the clean polished feel to my teeth after a cleaning, but this is 2 times going here for a cleaning, and both times I left feeling like I clean my teeth better at home.

Experiencia negativa: Choose this place because of the near 5 star rateing. And first visit went to have a tooth looked at that needs to be pulled long story short did not have a good first experience. Was in and out in under 5 mins due to the dentist was far from nice and professional. Guess it don't matter what type of insurance you have was still charged to insurance around 85 dollars and I had absolutely nothing done only talked to the dentist and about my situation. On another hand the hygienists and office personnel where super nice and understanding of my situation. These days gotta cut costs where you can this place is not one of those places you can do so!

Experiencia fantástica: From checking in at the front end, and discovering the staff took it upon themselves to check my insurance, and observe and inform me of my maximum coverage, etc, to the hygienist, cleaning my teeth, and discussing the options for care/procedures, along with quickly assessing the individual costs for each option, to the doctors exam and assessment, along with discussion of necessary/and unnecessary care, on her part, I would have to rate their team, for overall helpfulness, the attention to detail, professionalism, and communication with a …99…(just to keep them humble)!

Mildly put I have had challenging experiences at all of them - with the exception of Brattleboro Dental Care. This office constantly goes above and beyond and does the best job at not brutalizing my mouth or wallet. A well-earned 5 star rating.

Experiencia fantástica: This dentist office provides the best care I’ve received since I was a child going to that one in VA with the sweet dolphin game in the waiting room and where they handed out the gameboys I accidentally tried to steal. Doc here in VT is fantastic and I appreciate all he has done for me. Bonus points he once caught a cavity visually that was invisible on X-ray because of my silver fillings. Now that’s service even visa would call priceless! Hygienist is a luminary, and the other doc is fantastic as well. And don’t think I forgot about you front office and techs, because y'all kill it too. I took a 5 year sabbatical from being a dentistry patient, and I’m very glad to have come back into the game with such a great office because I have no shortage of business to give them. Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an emergency appointment because my tooth broke and is in pain. A week later my appointment arrived and when I got there the staff was very friendly, but the doctor said he couldn’t do anything about it and referred me to another office saying they would get me in, but it would take 1-3 weeks. So much for an emergency dental situation. Now I have to wait even longer to get my tooth fixed when it should’ve been taken care of.

Experiencia negativa: Extremely rude!! Did not offer services as advertised. Go someplace else! I never expected FREE. I also have dental insurance and approved for CareCredit enough to fix my teeth! I expected professional behavior. Nothing was explained except a 25,000.00 payment. If I chose to go to anyone who'd put me to sleep for extractions, I was told it was either EVERYTHING was done there or he wouldn't do it. Very rude, curt for a self professed professional! I tried to pay before I was even seen.

Treatment plans are discussed in depth and ALL of your options are given to you with the dentists recommendation of what would be best given a professional opinion, but without pressure or judgement! I feel very comfortable there and no longer loath going to the dentist! They are not out to sell you the most expensive option, but rather assist with the best option that you feel comfortable with. I can not say enough good things about this dentist. I feel very blessed to have found such an amazing dentist in little Brattleboro! I highly recommend this dentist for affordability, comfortability, their caring nature, excellent and very friendly staff, knowledge and expertise! A+++

Experiencia negativa: The staff continually insisted I didn't have insurance despite it being on file and treated me like I was going to run out without paying. They did take me in for an emergency visit initially but canceled a follow up extraction appointment that was made because I never confirmed through a phonecall. A phonecall that I never received from their office. Despite having been in good standing and made the appointment while in the office after my emergency visit, in writing. I see now why they were able to take me in so fast because no one wants to do business with a group of clowns. Just to be clear I was rude to the staff and used profanities only after my general experience and cancelation so if they try to spin this with some comments like I'm the only bad guy, I will at least admit my wrong doing.

They were ready when I arrived, very friendly, professional and scheduled my next appointment in four months when my visit was done. We discussed the cost of having my teeth whitened and whether my insurance would assist. Nice people and I am very pleased with their services.

Experiencia negativa: As honest as a used car dealer. Diagnosis: "Your crown is about to fall out, you must replace it immediately." Second opinion: "It's fine, it will last a year or two. Nothing urgent." Insurance: I asked them to check with my insurance to verify coverage. Didn't hear from them, went by their office, they gave me a print-out that shows 0 balance, and the receptionist said "You have 100% coverage." Since I don't believe in the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny, I called the insurance: they will only cover 20%. Good bye.
