Experiencia positiva: I have had a lovely hygienists and ordinary/ fine dealings as a patient for years. Seda dental of South Boca Raton pressure you to get enhancements paid out of pocket and “deep cleanings” for extremely healthy teeth and gums… the bonding they did to my top front teeth is far more yellow than my natural teeth, and after the poorly experienced dentist bonded and polished the top front teeth, she also used tools that damaged my teeth and did not nearly polish them enough.they were left rough and matte and obvious from the healthy, whiter, natural teeth. I came a couple of days later in for them to be re-polished and now my teeth look a bit better. My 40 something natural teeth should be able to be matched with the same white bonding. They yelled at me that only veneers are whiter! That’s definitely not true.

I believe she’s a temp, which honestly sucks because I’d love to see her at all of my appointments. The staff here is great overall, but she really made my experience today. She walked me through every step, told me what to expect, and made everything feel smooth and easy. She made me feel so comfortable. I really hope to see her at Seda Dental more often!

Experiencia negativa: It used to be a private practice with an old doctor and family like vibe. He sold it a couple of years ago to the private equity network SEDA, which is only profit-driven. I can only guess that everybody is on commission and does conveyor belt operation. The procedure they priced at $1500 I did somewhere else for $400. The business plan is to multiply procedures and bill, baby bill! An old staff is gone, replaced by new faces every time I come. Calls are taken by an AI bot repeating the same line. No more for me. Private equity and Excel spreadsheet model killed it.

I literally told him while they were working on my tooth How cool they were because of how they worked together so well and use teamwork to take down this painful monster, a.k.a. my tooth lmao! On top of that, I felt nothing and writing this review. My face is literally still numb.! When I tell you, they were so sweet and considerate prior to her beginning on the tooth she literally said “you should only feel pressure but if you feel pain, let me know “,and she was poking around my gums, etc., and when I felt a little pain I told her and immediately she numbed my mouth even more! She’s literally a godsend! I literally love the whole staff and team, even though women that didn’t work on me or assist me! They all were so nice. They all said hi to me. Everyone had a smile. I went there to treat infected tooth, they didnt address the issue, instead they ordered a crown and put in the infected tooth. . After a search online, I found out they belong to chain organization, where they hire people that just came out of college with no experience or practice, the company pay their student loan. That why they are so incompetent. Before chose a dentist, do search online, it save you lot headache.

She provided additional cleaning services which I have always refused as she explained my insurance would pay. Since January I keep receiving texts and emails for a service balance of $335. I've spoken to her several times and she says I won't have to pay but the email says something different. I've tried to call the owner with no response. Unethical business practices. Scammers

And with a swollen jaw throbbing in pain after a sleepless night, I feared that today it would be impossible to book an emergency appointment anywhere. Update 8/10/22: Today was my tooth extraction, so let me tell you the rest of the story. Just as my initial visit, Dr. Ramos and her staff took great care of me. And you'll experience a warm welcome from the great staff behind the desk! UPDATE 9/15/23 Get a text message last night that I have an amount owing on my last procedure. From the beginning the amount paid by my insurance was clear. The balance to complete the procedure was clear. At the last treatment I confirmed that balance was paid in full with the payment taken. Office closed till Monday. Obviously, I someone made a mistake. Will update. Update 12/19/24 Not only did Seda work hard to solve the problem mentioned in my previous post (by disputing the denial of the insurance company), the team went above and beyond to accommodate my need for a critical appointment today.
