Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing experience for us and our 2 young kids! The waiting area is a kids dream with a little room setup with games, chalk, and even a TV! The facility is modern and beautiful, and the staff is extremely outgoing and helpful. As for our dental work… my gums have never felt so good when leaving a dentist! Normally they dig around so much and make them bleed and sore, but not here! They use new techniques and technologies that make cleanings and other work so painless! Even our kids loved the experience and are now excited about going back. This was a great experience and we would highly recommend giving them a try, especially if you have young kiddos!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow I was actually shocked at how supportive and kind every one was here! I have bad dentist anxiety and the people here made me feel so much better. The front desk staff had huge smiles and were so friendly. The woman doing my X-rays was gentle and slow checking in often and so friendly. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth took the time to get to know me a little and asked lots of questions about my concerns or trouble areas in my mouth. She was so good at communicating with me each step of the cleaning process and explaining what she was doing. She was also very gentle, attentive and kind. She was positive and gave me really good feedback. Even in areas that needed help she was not belittling or condescending. She always put a constructive and positive tone to what she told me. The dentist himself was also so friendly and helpful. He related to my situation and was personable and knowledgeable. This is absolutely going to be my new dentist going forward.

Yesterday, when I broke a tooth and was in terrible pain, they got me in *immediately*—no hassle. From the moment I walked in, every single person was kind, calm, and incredibly accommodating. What could have been a truly awful evening turned into a surprisingly pleasant one, all thanks to their professionalism, compassion, and skill. They treated me with genuine care and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I’m beyond grateful for how quickly they helped me and how smoothly everything went. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares, this is the place.

Experiencia negativa: Service was very good. Billing was horrible. This was the first time I went to Oak Hollow because for my procedure, my regular dentist had stopped using our insurance company and I was going to have to pay for a portion of the bill so I was looking around for someone who would not charge me more than my regular dentist was willing to charge. Oak Hollow agreed to the amount, I had the procedure, I paid my portion when I left. Two months later I get another bill for $266.50. They could not explained to me why there were charging me more than what we originally had agreed. There was only one more communication with Oak Hollow, I didnt hear from them for more than a year and then I got a voice mail from an attorney that wanted the original $266.50 Plus $375.00 for his phone call. Oak Hollow never called me to see how we could resolve this, or that they were going to turn it to an attorney. The attorney was kind enough to tell me they would take payments but at an interest rate of 60%, yes 60% annual interest rate until the bill was paid off. That would be illegal in many States. Im pretty sure that this 60% rate was not included in whatever small print they had me sign. I paid their bill, I also paid their attorney but I will pull my own tooth with a rusted pair of plyers before I go to Oak Hollow Family Dentistry again. You can have decent doctors but whoever does their billing is Horrible. Is this really worth $266.50??

Experiencia negativa: They've had an issue with Met Life every single time we have gone there always calling and asking us to give them our SSN, since it would make the process easier. And we've been going there for at least 2 years now. We don't feel comfortable giving out our SSN and every time in the past, eventually they have been able to do it without the SSN. This time the person running the insurance was unable to figure it and on top of that was very passive aggressive in their text messages to my wife. I wouldn't recommend going here if you have met life. And message to this practice, if you have a difficult time working with Metlife, maybe just tell people you don't take it, instead of relying on passive aggressive texts to get people to give you their SSN.

Experiencia negativa: People are super nice, but was told that a night guard would cost 30 dollars and insurance would cover the rest, and then 6 months later I got a bill for 450 dollars, check with your insurance before you buy anything that they suggest

Experiencia negativa: I used to really like this place. The people were nice; however, their finances and settling of claims is very questionable. They went out of business after scamming us out of nearly $3000. They kept saying that the insurance never paid; however, they would not return calls or speak to human resources. I would avoid any connection with this place.

Experiencia negativa: These guys are criminals. I went to get some work done. They overcharged me so I had a credit on my account. I have asked many times if they can mail me a check for the credit. They told me multiple times they would, and they never have. It’s been 2 years now and now I’m calling them just to see what the credit amount is to possibly go back and get more work done and they keep telling me day after day they will call me back with that information and this is going nowhere. They stole my money knowingly and are now ignoring me.

He was so kind, gentle and genuine, and didn't make us feel bad about the condition of his teeth. Experiencia positiva: Dr. Hoffman took over my previous dentist of almost 20 years’ practice and he and staff are very kind. The reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because I feel Dr. Hoffman is “crown happy.” He told myself and my parents that we all needed a crown on our first/second visit with him. My previous dentist had never once mentioned a crown to me ever. He then tried to convince me in the next visit to do more X-rays to “show me what he is seeing” so I would do the crown. He even did a crown on my step-dads wisdom tooth, which seemed strange to me since most people have their wisdom teeth removed. Today I went to a new dentist who confirmed my suspicion that I just need to have my old cavity removed and replaced on the same tooth Dr. Hoffman wanted to do a crown on. Overall he is a nice dentist but I feel like he does more expensive procedures than necessary to fix the problem.

The dental assistant was super sweet and helpful as well.

Experiencia positiva: ETA: Knocking off two stars because dealing with the billing and insurance aspect of this has been a nightmare. The office swears they take BlueCross, but never run my insurance correctly, and when I call BlueCross they always say this office is not covered or is pending coverage (for over a year). I can always expect to have to make multiple calls to my insurance and the office when I get a bill, and I’m done with it. I don’t want to go anywhere else but the inaccurate pricing and billing is too much of an issue when I have other medical expenses to deal with. Like most people, I hate going to the dentist. But Dr. Hoffman and his team are very friendly and knowledgeable people. This is an honest practice that doesn’t try to oversell some procedures, they tell you what needs to be done and that’s it. I plan to keep coming back for as long as I can. This office just continues to impress. I had a wisdom tooth extracted by an oral surgeon and called asking to see if Dr. Hoffman could take a look at the extraction site, to make sure it was healing correctly. The receptionist was super friendly and accommodating in getting me in. I wasn’t charged for the visit and all of the staff, including Dr. Hoffman, are all just genuinely nice people.

I deeply appreciate Dr. Hoffman's business practice of putting a "watch" on a tooth when something is small enough to qualify for a watch instead just jumping the gun and saying we actually have a cavity to drill and fill. He will supply us with remineralizing toothpaste and let us wait to see how it looks at our next checkup. This is way better than drilling into every tiny spot right away. I also greatly appreciate Dr. Hoffman's ability to talk to me about the health of my teeth and my children's teeth so we can leave his office with a game plan of how to keep our teeth healthy.

This clinic was the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff I have met! They were able to answer all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable the entire time! The facility was also so nice they even had massaging chairs to lay on while you have your teeth cleaned. Cannot recommend more!

I broke a tooth the night before an international flight and Dr Hoffman met me at 6:30 am on a Saturday and fixed it so I could fly comfortably and not miss a family trip!!! Experiencia negativa: The worst dental office with the worst front desk staff ever my family and I’ve been to! I’ve never been treated this badly as customer by a front desk staff. The only reason we ended up going to this place was we had recently moved to the area and it was close to our place. In a business world with lot of competitors, the front desk staff and their customer service is vital! They keep billing my insurance for the wrong treatment/billcode and it’s been going on for months I’m trying to get to the bottom of this. Every time I call, the front desk staff named Erin answers and she says the other person Stacie who’s been working on my account will give me a call and hang up very rudely without having me finish what I’m trying to say. But the Stacie person never calls back. The last time they said they will give me a call back was 2 months ago. I understand that they have to correct their mistake and resend the correct info to my insurance which insurances can take long, but I don’t understand the part why they are so rude and why they can’t just give me a call and provide updates on what’s happening.

Experiencia fantástica: They were great I usually get panick attacks when I go to the dentist. But they made me feel at ease and explained everything perfectly so that I could understand they are awesome . The Dentist is kind and makes you feel like your part of the family.

Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to this location for years when it's been multiple names with different doctors. Honestly I always go back for the technicians, because they're always wonderful. This last visit was the first time I can honestly say my interaction with the doctor was amazing! He actually sat down and talked to me, and discussed things no other dentist has mentioned to me before. I cannot speak highly enough of this team!

Experiencia positiva: Barbie is amazing very sweet thorough, and quick. Normally love the dentist but he really tried to sell me on Botox which I’ve sold for several years for a plastic surgeon! I don’t mind that at all but in order to talk me into it he made a comment about how I already have a “square profile” and it would benefit me. I’m a confident person but I come for my teeth to be cleaned not for my face and it’s cosmetic shape. He’s very nice but it definitely is something I’m self conscious of already and bringing it up was weird.

Experiencia negativa: This place gratuitously requests rating even if you’ve never been a patient. They send and resend requests for a favorable rating. Tried to ignore them and they just kept bugging me. I don’t know if they are any good at being a dentist but they suck at screening numbers to make sure they only bug the right people.

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVED this place! They are quick and on time! They made me feel welcome and gave me compliments on my teeth! The dentist is honest and open! I thought it was really cool how they put up my X-rays so I could see them! He even took another picture of my tooth and explained why he suggested a filling! AMAZING place! I have been to lots of dentist offices and this one is awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in to have a filling replaced and it was hands down the smoothest, most painless, filling I’ve had done before (even with the additional grinding to remove the previous filling). Plus, who wouldn’t love tuning into some Animal Planet? They also gave me a list of recommendations to help me in the future. I’ll be happy to return without my regular dentist nervousness.
