Experiencia positiva: Dr. Lawson is awesome! She has a very gentle touch and creates no anxiety for those who don't like dental procedures. She gets 5 stars! However, there are staff members that bringbthe iverall score down. Would suggest that the staff advise patients of large payments required in advance of the visit vs. discussing it in front of other patients or personnel right before the work begins. Could be very embarrassing if they are not prepared to pay. Also, harassing patients to book appointments is not needed. If I cancel it is for a reason specific to me. Don't need multiple emails, mailings, or phone calls.

Of course your gums are going to bleed when there’s someone poking with what felt like needles throughout your mouth. I could go on and on about my experience there. I recently moved to Arizona had always seen my dentist every 6 months back home. I can not in good conscience recommend them. Sorry but If I could give zero stars, I would. Experiencia negativa: Stay far away! Pulled a bait and switch on what should have been a fill & seal bc their dentists didn't agree. Tried to get me to pay $600 more when I was prepped in the seat. If that wasn't bad enough, they tried to bill insurance for something they shouldn't, got denied and tried to stick me with the bill. Worst kind of outfit and gives a bad name to all other dentists.

Leslie the Dentist Assistant was so nice. Carrie was my Hygienist and her empathy meant the world to me. She made me feel so comfortable. She was so thorough and very nice and thoughtful. Dr. TaFolla was also nice and he made sure to make me feel comfortable. He was professional and understanding. The entire office was pleasant and clean. Experiencia negativa: Terrible, just Terrible, first off the girl that did my cleaning asked me if I wanted the fluoride treatment and it would be extra, I told her to look at my insurance, it covers it, DUH !!! then when I was done the front desk told me a owe money for my visit today, I think not !!! I believe its customary to inform the patients if there is going to be an added charge before they do it !!! then they told me if I don't pay it they will turn it over to collections, NO I DIDN'T PAY !!! you just can't add up false charges and expect the patient to pay when I wasn't even told about the extra charge before they did it , myself and my wife have been going there for a few years now but I think its time to change to another dentist, you guys have plenty of bad reviews on different local Facebook sites and now I know why ,I'm calling my insurance company Monday and tell them about the trumped up charge!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Firstly I have to say that Dr. Hamed and the Dental Assistants have always been nothing short of fantastic. In a business that is growing and still seeking new patients to expand, the upkeep in communication however is equally important. The administrative staff seem to have an automated text and calling system to remind patients of their upcoming appointments, but now - for the 2nd time, I was not informed of additional costs such as x-rays in advance of my visit which would have more than doubled the cost of a regular cleaning. The last appointment I had here, I also inquired about the total cost of my visit to which I received no answer. It is frustrating to only be communicated with to confirm appointments, yet when a patient has a valid need or question - they are seemingly ignored. Because of this I will be moving on to a different provider altogether as this is now the second occurrence of lack of communication for simple needs and/or legal requirements to the appointment which should be set in advance. I am disappointed to leave Dr. Hamed as again - she is an excellent provider, but I cannot waste time and should not have to constantly advance the follow-up process for information that should be transparent and communicated without hesitation.

I have dental anxiety and this practice definitely made it worse. ​​ ​​I started off by telling them I had anxiety and they were interested for about 5 minutes. ​​ ​​I was given laughing gas and they didn’t really make sure I had enough so I just felt clamped down by the face for 3 hours. I had crowns followed by a deep clean and the dentist interrupted the deep clean to drill more without speaking to me at all. She only spoke to that hygienist. ​​ ​​During the actual crown prep, there was also a point the dentist said she just “had to do this” not offering any chance to pause before the delicate bit. I felt like I was choking on my own spit at the time. ​​ ​​I interacted with a number of people over the course of 4 appointments and only one, Destiny, really told me what was happening or why. I could not understand one of the hygienists at all through his mask. I asked him to talk louder and more clearly but he just wouldn’t. ​​ ​​Aside from treating me like a thing, this practice is money grubbing and has poor privacy practices. ​​ ​​No one told us we’d used up all the money in the year on our insurance but rather tried convince me to immediately schedule a third crown, which I learned from my new dentist’s receptionist, will not be covered until January. ​​ ​​The dentist herself made snide comments that I looked like I used to wear braces and stopped wearing a retainer (false, I never ever had any) in an attempt to sell unnecessary Invisalign and then putting me on the Invisalign mailing list against my will. I have received a much higher number of spam sales calls since using this dentist do I believe they sold my info into a number of other brokers. ​​ ​​This is a corporate practice, not a private one, and they want money above all yet do not treat people well enough to deserve a penny. ​​ ​​Do not go to this dentist! ​​

Experiencia negativa: Scheduled an appointment online for a minor emergency but was told I would have to reschedule unless I did a General Consultation Exam so I agreed. After all the X-rays & exams the Dentist came in for a few minutes to talk about treatment, then I was introduced to a nice young lady to talk about how much it would cost because my dental insurance would not cover it, in fact my insurance only covered about one third of the cost. What I’am most unhappy about is how I was treated once they realized I was not scheduling a treatment plan, I was basically escorted to the lobby, given a receipt of the planned treatment plan & cost but No Advice of what to do in the mean time. They didn’t even offer me a mouth wash or rinse after poking & prodding me. I understand they are running a Business but this was not a good experience.

Experiencia negativa: CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH! Postcard ad says $79 for X-rays, exam & cleaning. All went well until I was told the cleaning would be $279. Nope, no regular cleaning for me, only the cleaning for more than 3X the introductory cost. Avoid this place as I am sure they jack up all their fees. I would give this dental practice a zero if I could. Bait and switch is illegal.

Experiencia negativa: I was initially impressed that I could get an appointment within two days through the website for a cracked tooth. The office was clean, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming. Check-in went smoothly, but things quickly shifted once I was in the chair. Despite explaining I had a cracked tooth, the focus turned to preventative care and cleanings — not the urgent issue I came in for. The dental assistant who did my intake and x-rays was truly wonderful: gentle, compassionate, and professional. Instead of seeing the dentist after x-rays, the hygienist began poking and probing my mouth, which caused significant pain. When I expressed my discomfort and asked for help managing it, I was made to feel like a burden. It seemed like asking for relief was an inconvenience to the staff, and after some awkward back-and-forth, I gave up and endured it just to get through the appointment. After 75 minutes, the dentist came in for less than five minutes. She glanced in my mouth, said my teeth were crowded and that I needed to "widen" my mouth — which was confusing and didn’t address my cracked tooth. She said she couldn’t find the break, even though I could clearly feel it below the gum line. I was told to wait for a treatment plan. To my surprise, the plan wasn’t about my cracked tooth at all. Instead, I was pitched a $4,500 Invisalign package — something I never asked for and wouldn’t be a fit for me due to existing dental implants. The only treatment offered for the actual issue I came in for? A $50 tooth grinding, scheduled two weeks out, bundled with a deep cleaning I didn’t ask for. I left feeling dismissed, pressured, and disappointed. I went in for help with a painful, broken tooth and walked out with no real treatment, a hefty sales pitch, and a vague promise of future relief — but only if I agreed to more procedures. Definitely not the care or compassion I was hoping for.

The office atmosphere is calm and relaxing and always very lowkey and often no other patients in the waiting room. All the staff is very kind, thorough, and accommodating! It’s also really nice how close to home it is for me and if you live in Estrella mountain ranch. My only con is the turn over rate for doctors is high, I’ve had 3 different doctors since I started going here. However, every doctor I’ve had has been stellar! They know what they’re doing and they go above and beyond for you. This is the only dentist I haven’t felt nervous at!
