Experiencia fantástica: Such a great experience and great staff from walking in and being greeted by two very helpful/courteous/amazing receptionist, along to the very helpful management and x-ray technicians to the friendly dental assistants and of course the great dentists, as well with everyone helping along the way to make me feel at home and comfortable to come get work done when we all know the dentist can be intimidating, also want to give extra love and a shoutout to Fatima and my amazing dentist Dr.Yang for doing such a great job and having great hands (almost feel asleep) thank you again!

When it comes to dentist appointments I get so nervous and my anxiety hits the roof. But after my appointments here from taking care a big cavity and dr that did my root canal dr meldy wow I didn’t feel a thing I would recommend they make you feel at ease and when it comes to payment plans wow I must tell you they work with you to be able to pay your treatments!

This place was recommended and everything that the other place failed at this place got it right without me havelong to mention. Front desk was great and I had her attention. Brenda was great as she always explained what she was doing. Dr. Pema was great as well, talking me thru the process and even engaging during the procedure as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a dentistry!

They were very thoughtful and patient with me and made the appointment pain free and a great overall experience. The assistant manager Kristina was wonderful and so patient and kind with my little one. She did a fantastic job of being prepared with my out of pocket estimate and explaining my insurance benefits. Hygienist was so kind and efficient and did a great job on my cleaning. Check in staff was also remarkably friendly and professional. Overall 10/10 for this practice!! Starting with Brenda, she was AMAZING with the X-Rays, no pain! Then I was blessed enough to have Zelbra as my hygienist! The needle was fine but the cleaning! I felt NOTHING!!! I was not holding on to the armrest waiting to begin to stop my breathing! It was G-R-E-A-T!! Not only is she super effective in her cleaning, NO PAIN PEOPLE!. If you have sensitive teeth, come here for cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone here is super nice and friendly! I started as a new patient this summer and had an easy experience getting settled in. My dentist Zelbra is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person who always goes the extra mile to ensure each visit is worth it.

Experiencia negativa: I went here during covid years. First time as an adult so I new to the experience. The tech? Took 6 tries (had to get someone else too 3 tries) to take Xrays as I had gum problem. They were sore until my next appointment (6 months). I was in extremely pain. Then told the dentist (talked to him for five minutes)I was feeling sensitivity in my teeth, and needed a deep cleaning due to neglect on my part. He said I was grinding my teeth. Six months later, they told me They found six cavities. My mother called bullshit as Cavities do not grow in six months. She told me to not go anymore. I even felt my tooth Crack from the cavatity but in those six months I thought it was normal. I finally got dental insurance this year And was told I have two very bad cavities That seem to have been there a really long time (cracked tooth was mentioned) also the fitting Of my mouthguard was terrible. So This place did liberally not mentioned my six cavities from initial visit. Comparing you to my new dentist, which told me all the problems in the first visit you guys suck. I Deliberately think that you saw a patient with no insurance and thought to take me as a fool. So go to Mod Dentistry of Avondale they literally take care of you. And to leave on a good note the dental hygienist was the only person that I liked she told me extra information about my him problem and did such a good job. I admire her work everyday lol and she actually seemed to love her job.

I had two appointments scheduled and both doctors (Kewallal and Pema) changed the services for my appointments the day of. Very inconsiderate of my time with no apology. Dr. Kewallal is unfriendly, comes off as condescending and judgemental. There isn’t any compassion amongst the doctors I saw. One of the worst dental offices I’ve ever been to.

At 8pm someone actually answered and scheduled me to come in first thing the next morning. I was so grateful and their promptness certainly calmed a stressful situation. Dr. Pema is awesome - I highly recommend!

Two weeks ago, I came in to have a crown re-glued that a previous dentist had placed, and they were able to get me in right away and fix it with no hassle. Today, I was in for my annual exam. While my gums need a little extra care, my teeth checked out fine, and we started a treatment plan to get everything back on track. I’ve been coming here for about three years now and have always had a great experience. The team is friendly, professional, and makes every visit easy. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: When I first started going to Goodyear Modern Dentistry they were good. The office was very organized and on top of things. They were courteous and considerate of their patents time. Now, they have gone the complete opposite way. My husband took the day off from work to get to his appointment. They called and asked if he could come in early. We were driving home from an out of town job site where he had been working and left at 6 a.m. to arrive on time. Not even 10 minutes later, they were calling us back and telling us that they didn't have the crown to put in. They made a mistake and had the old crown that didn't work. How could they not be prepared for an appointment that was made a month prior? How could they not know they didn't have the part they needed? When I told the girl that they screwed up and my husband lost pay for that day. She said, "Ma'am I told you I was sorry." She did not even acknowledge the fact that they should have accepted responsibility for their lack of being prepared. We should've received a call several days in advance that they weren't going to have the crown. Rude and disrespectful. Don't go there! Janelle is the "office manager" and doesn't know how to manage anything.

Experiencia negativa: Was debating reviewing until I knew for sure, and know that I do I can confidently say this practice is a scam. Came here a few months ago as a first time patient for a basic cleaning. I was told I had two cavities and my gums were in very bad shape. They said I needed a deep cleaning as well as treatment for the cavities, total bill with insurance would be $1600. I have very good insurance and have never paid more than $200 out of pocket at a dentist. I was also shocked as I haven’t had any cavities in 20 years. But I trust dentists and have only ever had good experiences with them, so I figured it was needed. Thankfully I declined those treatments that day (I did not have $1600 to spare), and asked to just go with the basic cleaning for now and I would figure out when I could come back for this “deep cleaning”. They let me know they would not be doing my cleaning since I turned down their recommended services. I left in shock, and like any good 27 year old does, called my mom. She told me to get a second opinion from a non chain/corporate dentist. I waited a while scared that I was going to be told the same thing. Well today I finally went to a local dentist, who informed me my gums are perfectly healthy and that I have 0 cavities. The fact that a medical professional is actively trying to scam patients by lying about their health is atrocious. They should be shut down. Please do not go here.

He made all necessary adjustments, and they fit perfectly. The front desk staff and all assistant staff are very friendly and efficient and always have a smile.

Experiencia negativa: First and last time customer. The absolute worst practice I have ever seen. Recently moved to west side of valley and was tired of going across to my old dentist. Had an appointment came in early 3 other people came after me and was saw before I was called. X-rays were normal. When it came time for cleaning they tried to up-sale to advance cleaning for $500+. I kindly declined and asked for basic covered under insurance. I was then told to get up and get out. Their office does not do basic cleans when they FEEL you need more. I was shocked. I called my insurance that I had for the past 10 years thinking my coverage changed. The max i paid at a dentist was $200 for 3 fillings in the past so i was caught off guard. Insurance company said no change in coverage and that office may be trying to scam and upcharge. PLEASE AVOID

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience. My son had a root canal and a "permanent" crown in 2021. He experienced some pain less than 2 years after the procedure. I called in to make them aware but the person on the phone said that my son had signed paperwork explaining that the procedure "may" work to which I responded that he couldn't have signed anything as he was a minor. The person proceeded to say that she was going to let the manager know to see what could be done and that I was going to be contacted via phone. I never received a call. In November of 2024, his crown fell off. Made him an appointment in December just to be told that crowns had no warranty and I had to pay over 1000 dls to have another one made.

Pema is a highly skilled, compassionate, and approachable professional who made me feel comfortable from the very first visit. The entire team is transparent, honest, and respectful of my dental insurance coverage, unlike other places where I was overcharged by thousands of dollars. The treatment plan was clearly explained, and I received excellent care, including crowns, a root canal, and deep cleaning. Their pricing is fair, and the quality of service is exceptional. Though this location is closer to my work than home, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my entire family if needed. Just like many people I’ve had a terrible experiences with other dentist but Dr Richling and Brenda went above and beyond. They made sure that all my questions were answered and the most important part i didn’t feel anything. I can’t stress enough how great full I am and now I’m excited to come back. Experiencia negativa: 10/2/24, my 1st visit. Went in for my 6 month cleaning/check-up which is covered by my insurance. They were very thorough & recommended a deep cleaning. They gave me pricing for a deep cleaning after insurance ($400) which required two additional visits. I declined stating that I might switch to a more comprehensive insurance plan which would cover more on Jan 1 (3 months away) and I just wanted the basic cleaning which was fully covered by insurance. They stated they could not do that since they had recommended a deep cleaning. So this was a complete waste of a couple hours & no teeth cleaned (& can't get them cleaned elsewhere through my current insurance for another 6 months).

During the entire procedure for my bridge , Dr. Pema kept me updated with what was being done , always ensured I wasn’t in pain, and helped me understand the benefits of the procedure . They worked diligently, fast, and always took the time for me . They worked on a schedule that suited me and even a Payment plan allowing me a little breathing room. And the completed work looks so natural , you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was ever done to begin with. I can not stress enough the recommendation to this place as well as Dr. Pema for any and all work someone may want to have done . I thank you guys for returning my confidence to me and now I look forward to going to the dentist !!

She was very sweet, made me feel super comfortable, reassured me that the visit would not be bad at all, and even laughed at my bad jokes. Shannon took me back for x-rays and explained everything in great detail and again I was reassured everything would be fine. Victoria Myers my Hygienist, explained the probing, cleaning and maintenance very well to me. Now for the 3rd time I was reassured that everything would be fine and she was there to help get me back on track. She was very sweet, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Dr. Pema examined me and came up with a treatment plan immediately. He was super nice and again he reassured me everything was fine. Dr. Pema offered to do a lot of the work on the same visit if I was willing to. Norma worked with my insurance to be able to provide pricing and payment options very quickly. I then began the work that Dr. Pema suggested. During the procedures Dr. Pema explained everything really well. He was very gentle and made sure I was numb enough before proceeding with the work. Throughout the procedure he constantly checked on me and explained things as he worked. Shannon assisted and made me feel very comfortable. Shannon made me some awesome temporary crowns that have me smiling in the mirror constantly. I can't wait for my permanents. It's been years since I have smiled with my teeth showing!! The team is awesome, made sure I was comfortable and eased my anxiousness through out my whole visit. This office is amazing and deserves 10 stars!!!! I would highly recommend Goodyear Modern Dentistry!!! Update: I had my permanent top front Crowns put in. They look amazing!! They matched the existing crowns' color really well!! I am so thankful I got my smile back. I am still getting used to smiling and not being ashamed of my teeth. Thank you so much! Can't wait for my next appointment!

Experiencia positiva: Signed up for an appointment online which was very quick and convenient. The staff is excellent and very friendly and would highly recommend this site for basic dentist work. The deduction making this a a non-5 star review is simply because I made it clear I simply wanted a “new patient, routine cleaning/visit” which should have all been covered by insurance. After reviewing my claim, there were procedure codes selected and performed that I would consider excess even after declining all the additional recommended cleanings. I’m not an expert in procedure codes but to not cause a stir and the out of pocket being minimal, I signed just to have the experience be done (which they were up front and honest about before preformed) just the frustration of knowing I do have the typical coverage of a cleaning every 6mos and x rays every so often, I was a tad frustrated I still had an out of pocket payment and seeing claim report.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in on aug 26 2024, i was really nervous for this appointment but my sister aka Jess Martinez recommended me to go here, and Im happy i took her recommendation. Fatima was awesome and really help calm the nerves and dr richling is awesome too, he always asked if i felt any pain throughout the process, norma as well! Honestly the whole staff is just amazing. I owe them dutch or starbucks and nutella! But i am happy to say this is gonna be my primary dentist. Thank you all.

I was distraught and scared while having very few options for care as I am uninsured, have anxiety and am not wealthy. My care team Was Dr. Richling, Norma and Brenda! Attentive, Compassionate, focused, Kind, considerate, gentle and genuinely concerned. Talked me through it. Did a difficult extraction and even shared some laughs with my nervous self.Best dentist I have ever experienced and will highly HIGHLY recommend. If you need care this is the place to go. Such a gem. I will never forget.❤️

Also Dr. Maxwell Richling helped me out today. Not to mention my hygienist Victoria Meyers as she is always awesome. I highly recommend this office and they are all always friendly and helpful.
