Experiencia fantástica: Walked in out of curiosity since I have no insurance, I was greeted with a smile and offered to be seen same day. I had the time so I said okay, started with my exam and x rays and boy was I surprised of how far I had let my dental health go. I was kind of upset at the same time but when they went over my options I felt confident that they were not trying to sell me anything. The financial coordination explained the cost and options I had since I was not using insurance, that point I wanted to do the cheaper and easy option but having them show me and educate me I knew I had to do the right thing. I had mixed feelings with all some of the previous reviews but I never felt pressured or denied and explanation for any of my questions. Thank you again for setting back on track!!

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I called the staff made me feel like I found my forever new dentist. I am aware I need a lot of work even before going in, after my exam I was explained exactly what I needed and why. There was no surprises, they answered my questions and I felt comfortable setting up all my future appointments. I was given my options and never did I feel pressured or obligated to say yes. For anyone like myself who avoids the dentist I would courage you to come in for an exam and see for yourself how genuine this practice is. I had my treatment done flawlessly and they truly live ur to their “MODERN,” dentistry!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this office for all of your dental needs. They have the most up to date technology and really go above and beyond for their patients. The hygienist Steve who did my cleaning was great and really educated me on my overall gum health. Jam the dental assistant who took my x-rays made sure I was very comfortable throughout the process. You can tell she is experienced and strives to make you feel at ease. Over all I was very pleased my experience.

After Dr. Pandhoh did my cleaning, Jose and Jam came in to finish and were both very nice. I do have a couple cavities and I will definitely come back to Dr. Pandhoh and the rest of the staff to have them finished. Glad to call these people my dentists!

Experiencia negativa: If they tell you you need a root canal or any sort of procedure, PLEASE get a second opinion from somewhere else. They scammed me by telling me I needed a root canal when I didn’t and lowered the price when I started to leave to get a second opinion. They also tried telling my friend he needed a root canal but he decided not to and 2 years later he’s completely fine still.

Experiencia negativa: Just to be clear, Dr. Mikhael is an AMAZING dentist. She is the only reason I bother going here. Office staff earned the 1 star. The itemized receipts I get from this place are ALWAYS wrong. My insurance and FSA flagged this office as fraudulent. For example, I paid 1400 for dental surgery. The itemized receipts I was given by their staff showed I should have only been charged $740 by their own calculation. My FSA flagged it. After multiple calls with front desk, they continuously emailed me erroneous receipts showing different amounts. After the 3rd time receiving a PDF receipt, it looks like random amounts were changed and input to reflect the $1400 I was originally charged. Same issue keeps happening with every service I get here. I’m charged X amount but the receipts requested show a lesser Y amount. My FSA keeps flagging this place.

I needed an emergency crown, and the team was able to get me in quickly and complete the crown the very next day. On top of that, they went above and beyond to help me find a specialist for my root canal, coordinating everything so that my entire treatment was completed within just three days. A huge thank you to Debby, Dr. Nguyen, Jose, and Frankie for their exceptional care and professionalism. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Their communication, efficiency, and genuine concern for their patients truly set them apart. Experiencia negativa: I came to the office last December. Everybody was nice. The only problem I had that one to remove a tooth and I told him I needed to go to all searching so I would’ve had to pay 900 out of my pocket plus my insurance then they lower it down to 600. I still thought it was too much. I found another dentist for a second opinion and I got my tooth removed less than they wanted it for so I think sometimes they push on something you don’t need just went to a regular dentist and he pulled my toot

I did my cleaning with Trinh (hygienist) and she was very gentle and careful, making me feel comfortable the whole time with no pain. She explained everything clearly and took her time, which I really appreciated. Dr. Patel also did my filling and it looks very natural, just like my real tooth. Overall, great service and a very professional team. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I would always get anxious about going to the dentist because my jaw locks when my mouth is open for long periods of time. This is the first time my jaw hasn’t locked at the dentist. My hygienist was Ramon. He has great bedside manner, was very knowledgeable and has the most gentle hands, my cleaning was quick and efficient and I didn’t even feel a thing! I was wary going to this dental office because of the bad yelp reviews I read, but I have had the best experience so far. So, if you’re looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Anaheim Modern Dentistry. The office is impeccably clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, their equipment is state of the art, they are fully transparent with everything and their customer service is excellent! This update was prompted by my recent visit for a cleaning on 1/20/26. This rating is solely for the female Asian hygienist that cleaned my teeth this past week. For the record, I floss my teeth like crazy--every single time after I eat something. She sticks that sharp instrument in my gums to measure them and portions of my gums start bleeding. She proceeds to tell me that my gums bleed easily (not true bec they never bleed when I brush or floss, and did I mention I floss religiously?). She tries to sell me on this laser thing that would cost me ~$300. I say no. She then asks me if I wanted to do irrigation which she said was $100. I say ok, thinking it would be some intensive procedure seeing that it cost so much. She takes a syringe of blue minty liquid that she squirts on my teeth and then asks me to gargle then spit out. That's it! I ask her what the liquid was and she says chlorhexidine (aka peridex). WTH? $100 for 15ml of peridex when you can buy an entire bottle for $30? I definitely got bamboozled. To add insult to injury, she had the suction apparatus hooked right up against my cheek and 2 days later, I notice it was sore and sure enough, there was injury on the inside of my right cheek. And guess what? When the dentist came to look at my teeth and X-rays, she tells me everything looked good! I've had a really good experience with this dentist with the exception of my appointment with this particular hygienist. Next time I will be making sure she isn't my hygienist and I suggest you do the same if you go here.

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend this office! I felt pressured into unnecessary services during my visit and was made to feel like issues were urgent without clear explanation. I stated I only want services that my insurance covers, only to be ensured that the x-rays were and that my insurance was accepted there. Later I got hit with a large bill for the x-rays. I got push back when stating I just wanted a maintenance cleaning and told I have periodontal disease and that I needed an SRP done that day. When I told them I was unable to pay out of pocket, they kept adjusting the cost in hopes I would budge on getting the procedure done. I had to get up and leave after over an hour of advocating for myself. The experience felt more sales-driven than patient-focused. I got a second opinion from another dentist, who evaluated the x-rays I got done at this office, and confirmed I do not have periodontal disease.

Experiencia negativa: Look out for this pattern. This is the first time this happened to me at this business. However, it’s something that I’ve experienced with other dentists. About three weeks ago. I booked my appointment for this past Saturday for 8AM. When I scheduled the appointment. I specifically mention I only can do Saturday for a check/cleaning. I understand that I might have to take a full day of work off for major work. They understood. They looked up my insurance and we were good to go. When I check in she tells me my insurance doesn’t qualify for the dentist that is currently there. Meaning I would have to pay full amount out of my pocket. The receptionist did apologize to me that she didn’t call me to let me know. Note: This business has multiple dentist that work off different networks. Please beware you will not get a cancellation fee from them or for waiting your time.

I was super nervous going in, but they were incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They worked efficiently, and thankfully, I had no issues with my procedure. I know there are plenty of horror stories out there about dental visits, but I feel very lucky to have such a great dental team here.

Dr Rahi did my root canal and he was kind and patient and even though it was a root canal it was a great experience and I don’t have a single complaint. Experiencia positiva: Update 5/2025 - Still happy with the dental services provided here, however billing is another story. Every visit the office charges a $35 fee for a fluoride varnish and I took them at their word that it wasn't covered by insurance. Fast forward two years later I ended up confirming with my insurance that it should have been covered the entire time. When I brought this up during a visit, I was told that "insurance takes too long to pay us", which should not be the patient's problem. Shout out to Antonio at the local office for helping me get this resolved. -- Great office! We recently moved to Anaheim and this office is conveniently located for us. There is ample parking at the office location and the inside is very modern and clean. Everyone was great to work with and very friendly! Dr. Pandhoh explained all my x-rays and his findings to me in a straightforward and concise manner. It was easy to understand what I was doing well and not so well! Tammy was great to speak with and provided a very clear explanation of the charges for each procedure and gave me ample time to decide before moving forward with anything.Ramon performed a thorough cleaning and I was in and out before I knew it. Looking forward to returning in six months!

Debbie was very thorough with explaining my benefits, and offered other alternatives for payment plans. It was only my 2nd time getting a root canal done and was actually scared of getting it done because of a previous bad experience with a different dental office. Procedure was pain-free, you can tell the endodontist was very experienced. Would definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: My wife came in here since she wanted her wisdom teeth removed. I wasn’t able to attend her visit and when she came home with the bill for just a cleaning came out to $3.6k they did not ask her for an approval on a CT scan and included it on the bill. This place will drain your insurance to the max please avoid. After the insurance we still have to pay $900. It would have been $15k including the removal of the wisdom teeth. Avoid this place they are robbing you.

Experiencia fantástica: I was recommended Anaheim Modern Dentistry from my co-worker. I had gone to a previous dentist office that gave me two fillings on my first visit. I was in a lot of pain and was told I needed three other fillings on the other side. I wanted a second opinion, as I didn’t want get 3 more fillings after being in so much pain from the first two. I went to Anaheim Modern Dentistry and had a 180 degree different experience. They didn’t want to do fillings but try and reverse my MINOR cavities. The dentist at AMD said “when we do fillings that are in between your teeth, we have to take away healthy tooth and that’s always our last resort”. They were not quick to operate for more money, as the other dentist office would have made $950 on my 5 fillings. AMD cared about my well being, asking if there were stressors in my life and how we could control them. They took the time to talk to me, and solve problems through at home care rather than operating. I just finished my second visit with AMD and my cleaning was the gentlest, easiest cleaning I’ve ever had at the dentist. I HIGHLY recommend Anaheim Modern Dentistry, as they care more about your whole person than making money.

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to get a same day appointment for a dental emergency, while my own dentist for many years had no emergency appointments. Extremely smooth process in getting me seen and using newer technology my old dentist doesn’t have. Cost was very similar with my insurance but quality of care was superb. Got an old crown replaced same day and didn’t need to take extra days off work. Entire team was very professional and honest. Recommend anyone to ditch their old school dentists and check out Anaheim Modern Dentistry!!!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I had read these reviews before I spent over $5,000 here in the last couple of years. I came to this dentist with extreme dental anxiety and I was very honest about that when I began treatment, and now I feel like my fear was used to take advantage of me by being upsold things I didn’t need when I already needed (and still need) a great deal of work. The cherry on top is being told I’m not allowed to reschedule my appointments or I’ll be charged a $100 fee. Mind you, my appointments have always been rescheduled at LEAST 24 hours in advance if not more. Girl, your schedule isn’t even full. Where exactly are the clients that are clamoring for that appointment slot? After a horrible experience talking to a receptionist this evening, I will not be back. I’m going to find a provider that will create a treatment plan with my oral health in mind, not their sales.

Experiencia fantástica: Anaheim Modern Dental is amazing. I wastraveling on chipped my tooth while on the airplane. I was able to make an emergency appointment the very next day all before exiting the plane. Super easy! Once I got to the office Antonio was awesome, he was so helpful and professional. The dental assistant Jam was spectacular and the Dentist Mikhael was excellent, she was great, explaining exactly what needed to be done and was gentle and fixed my chip perfectly and painless! If you need a dentist for regular routine dental or emergency this is the place to go. Everyone was superb in my opinion

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE. I've been there twice and they will upsell you without informing you. You'll think you're doing x-rays and then all of a sudden they sneak in a CT scan. You think you're just getting a cleaning and while your mouth is already open, they make you spit in a tube for a "saliva test". Of which the results were never reviewed with me. My first visit cost $1300 AFTER INSURANCE and when they say they offer payment plans, and it's "not a hard pull" on your credit BEWARE. They are selling you a credit card, and the lady at the front desk does NOT frame it that way. They do not offer receipts! I tried to give them another chance, but on my second visit the dentist asked if I wore retainers and I said yes but they were looking discolored, and he encouraged me to buy new ones (after I had JUST got these 6 months prior on his recommendation). The dental hygienist BARELY touched my teeth and didn't even sit down or turn on the overhead light to do my cleaning. It was done in 5min and I could've done better with my electric toothbrush at home. I asked her if it was her first time doing a cleaning and she said no....DO NOT GO HERE

Experiencia fantástica: Went in as an emergency as was seen same day!!! Dr. Zhukov took care of me and Antonio helped me understand my insurance benefits. I was as hesitant and called three insurance myself and confirmed Antonio and his team are insurance experts. While expecting my insurance to be amazing and cover 100% the ins rep verified the true benefits my employer gives me and have to accept my copays and invents in my future!!

Experiencia fantástica: First off everyone in this office is professional and curtious. The office is very clean and has all the newest technology some i never knew existed. I have not been to the dentist in 20 years. I've always had this fear as a kid/teen into my early adult life. I recently had a few cracked teeth that were in severe pain and needed work done. I mustered up the courage to go but I was so tense, anxious, and down right scared. I went in on Dec 4th to see Dr. Ramon for a deep cleaning. I was so afraid but the way he spoke to me and the calming in his voice made me not only relax but made me forget I was speaking to my Doctor. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and the demeanor he carries himself with makes you feel at ease that you are definitely in the right hands. I am going back today Dec 12 for the rest of my deep cleaning. Honestly wouldn't want anyone else but him to work on me. Thank you Dr Ramon.

Everyone is very kind and informative I’ve been assisted by Steve for cleaning and Moises on my x-rays. Steve was very informative and gave me a few solutions to my dental needs and was very gentle with my cleaning and Moises has a warm personality who always makes my visits more comfortable and fun. He’s very gentle and empathetic and always checks on you during the procedure to make sure you don’t need a break or the pain isn’t too much. My teeth also look and feel so much better and I’m still here. Can’t wait to see the difference it makes later, but I’m still beyond happy now. Dr. Suzi Zhu is also great and was very thorough with her procedure and explained everything in great detail to caring for my teeth. &My dental assistant Itzamara was incredibly friendly and a great person to help me out through my entire visit. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating with working me in to their schedule on an emergency basis. I was seen by their Endodontist Dr. Rahnama who performed a root canal that was done quickly and painlessly. I was then seen by Dr. Mikhael who was able to take off the existing crown and make a temporary all within a few hours! Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Team, we went to our dental visit as a family and we were all impressed with cleanliness of the dental office. Definitely not my grandfather’s dental practice like we are used to visiting old and dirty…this practice is a state of the art facility and they make their own crown in office. Their approach is all about the mouth and body connection which is impressive and very informative. Dr. Mikhael did an amazing job on my cleaning and happy to say i am cavity free!!!
