Experiencia fantástica: This office is so great that you'll forget all the anxiety of visiting the dentist. The office is bright and clean, not in a sterile way. Most of all, it's full of the nicest people in the state of Virginia. I went for my first cleaning in more than a decade --- no shame or lectures. I also went back for a guard to help my teeth grinding. From start to finish, it was a great experience. I can't see myself ever going anywhere else.

Experiencia positiva: My appointment was changed from Wednesday to Tuesday because I was told my hygienist was retired and had moved to Rhode Island. I was eventually rescheduled to Tuesday. Turns out my hygienist was not retired and had not moved. She was there and she would have been there on Wednesday when my appointment was originally scheduled.

Experiencia negativa: My wife had an appointment to have some dental work done. On the appointment date my wife's mother had an medical emergency and she had to call and reschedule. One minute later a person called my wife back. She began judging her, criticizing her, and threatening her because of the cancelation. The associate even went on to tell her she canceled because she didn't have the money to cover the work being done and told her the deposit she put down would not be refundable and she needed to pay in full before the appointment could be rescheduled. This was very unprofessional. People like this should not be allowed to be in customer service. This situation added to the emotional stress that my wife had to deal with after her mom's emergency earlier. I hope others have not had to endure this type of treatment from this place and if you have I would like to hear about it.

Experiencia negativa: Stopped going there after an entire session where the cleaning tech did nothing but try to sell me on an at home cleaning solution she sells on the side and make commission off of. Had been going there for 10 years until then and never had her before but says shes been there allowed to sell it for years. I’m sorry but if I have an employee trying to sell my patients/customers their own product on the side, she’d be gone.

The office staff were also friendly, helpful and very nice. I am in the process of getting a crown. I have the temporary crown in place waiting on permanent one to come in. They called me to make sure I was doing ok and that I was not having any problems. I really appreciated that. I would recommend them to anyone.

We haven’t ever had a negative experience or interaction, everyone has been super kind, caring, and patient! I truly believe they are the reason my boys love to brush their teeth and love to go to the dentist. We will continue to come here for years to come :)

They got me in for an appointment quickly and made everything super easy. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming — you really feel cared for the moment you walk in. This time, I couldn’t find child care for my little one, but everyone was so understanding. I was even nursing when Dr. Roberts came in, and instead of rushing in, he kindly said he’d give me a few minutes to finish. That small moment of consideration meant so much to me as a mom. They were patient while I got my baby settled and made sure I still had a smooth, thorough check-up. I was in and out in time for my baby’s nap, and it felt so good to be able to take care of my own health without added stress. Can’t recommend them enough — they truly go above and beyond!

Experiencia fantástica: Efficient & friendly staff. Going to the dentist is never my top choice of how to spend my time, but DHA makes it as pleasant as could be for such an experience. When I've needed urgent attention (broken filling, etc.) they are able to get me in right away.

Experiencia positiva: Overall a good dental experience. Dentist and staff are friendly and provide a comfortable environment. The issue that myself and others can’t understand is why this practice now charges $31 for a fluoride treatment (cost was $10 very recently)that is completely unnecessary for our situation. This seems to be an excessive amount. Plus they don’t give the option of not receiving the treatment and don’t inform the patient of the cost until AFTER the exam is over. For future visits, my entire family will opt out of this treatment before exam has started since we all have excellent oral health. Edit: The reply from the office is misleading. They simply do Not make the patient aware of the up charges. Also, we were billed for an unnecessary xray as well. This x ray was not age appropriate and should have never been taken without patient being aware it was not covered. This is the second time this has happened to my family. We’ve never had this charge before at other dental practices. Again, no complaints about dentist just the unexpected up charges.
