Experiencia negativa: I definitely do not recommend. Extremely hard to get an appointment. Today, I just got a call advising me that they had to cancel my appointment in two weeks and do not have anything until three months out. This was for basic cleaning. Unacceptable! I do not recommend this office I care about my teeth and like to stay on top of them. This office is definitely doing a disservice to those people who take care of themselves. Saying thank you for the feedback does NOTHING unless you make a change.

Experiencia fantástica: I developed an abscess under a crown and was in severe pain. A call to my regular dentist was unsatisfactory, no emergency service available, so I called Aspen Dental. They got me in the next morning and were fantastic.. The staff is very warm and congenial, while rendering very professional services. I was so impressed, both my husband and I immediately changed dentists. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

I broke down from there, neither the dentist nor assistant gave me information about the follow up nor extra gauze for to cover where the molar was extracted. When I got home my wife asked about my follow up visit post op instructions, she then called Aspen to get information. She then went over to the office to get a copy of the instructions, some extra gauze and made an appointment for follow up so that they could make sure that the area was healing properly. I’m not very impressed.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my second cleaning and Doreen made me feel absolutely amazing about my teeth. I had no pain or discomfort whatsoever and she has given me a smile I never had before. Ivy at the front desk resolved a billing issue I had so I was able to keep my appointment. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Awesome job

He’s messed up my fillings, left extra filling around my teeth, gaps AND even left a tooth exposed. He may be quick but he does a sloppy job. Save yourself the trauma and go somewhere else.

I had an infected tooth removed and an implant inserted both procedures were painless and quick. I have had horrible experiences with other dental practices, Aspen Dental relieved me of my fear and I will go to them for all my future dental needs.

Doreen was so patient and considerate making sure my daughter was comfortable and knew what to expect every step of the way while also encouraging her to stay on top of her brushing at home! I am so thankful to have my children in care where they become comfortable with medical settings and appointments and set healthy goals and expectations that they will carry through life!

After a traumatic childhood dental visit that's followed me for decades, I actually do feel at ease at Aspen. I recommend Aspen for the professionalism and convenient location. P.S. a special shout out to Pamela Phillips for taking time to speak with me about Motto Aligners.

So thankful i was able to be seen so quickly for being out of town and not a patient here. The Dr. and staff were nice and friendly and honestly was able to do it so fast and without pain (I was numbed up good!) if I lived here would definitely be my regular dentist!

Experiencia positiva: Well first time I went to have roots of tooth cut out and a tooth pulled, the dentist was okay.He did the best he could but for five days I could barely open my mouth. Where he put numbing needle, it felt like I had partial lock jaw. It's been 15 days and my mouth is just starting to open except now my jaw pops when I open my mouth. Went for a teeth cleaning and she done an excellent job. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would recommend them for a dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: First time using Aspen Dental in Hendersonville NC and I am absolutely amazed. Starting at the front door I was happily greet by the receptionist, Ms. Ivy. She had a great big smile and was able to answer all of my questions and get me checked in. Next, I had some scans done for my new Motto aligners...super excited! I did not get the name of the young lady that performed these scans. However, she was knowledgeable and very gentle while performing the scans. Next, my cleaning. Ms. Doreen you are AMAZING. Had an answer for every question I had regarding the Motto and gave me the most gentle and pain free cleaning I have ever had and I'm 50, so that's a lot of cleanings. Doreen had me smiling and laughing the entire time. She even offer me a blanket to keep covered as it was a little chilly in there. I have never offered a blanket at any dental cleaning or even an ER visit! I was warm, comfortable both mentally and physically during this visit and I honestly can not wait to go back in a few weeks. Amazing group of people there. Thank you Aspen Dental! -Nicole.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never had a single good experience with any dental practice that I have been to in the past. Because of my health issues, I have required a lot of dental work to be done by multiple dental practices throughout my life. Less than a year ago, I would leave my last dentist’s office in tears after every single appointment. I would cry on the drive home not from the pain, but from how poorly the entire office treated me. From the front desk to the techs and assistants to the dentist. I always left feeling ashamed and embarrassed about my teeth. They would make me feel like they judged me and looked down on me. I always dreaded going each time and left each time feeling awful. After suffering from a broken molar with a nerve completely exposed for months, I broke down and made my first appointment to an Aspen Dental office located in Hendersonville, NC. Everyone I encountered in the practice was incredible. No one made me feel less than human. The front desk was helpful and kind and quickly put my mind at ease. The lady checking me in was so kind and made the process simple, quick, and easy. When I was called to the back, the tech assistant Kalyn was so helpful and friendly. She could tell that I was nervous and she repeatedly reassured me to not be embarrassed and she was not judging me whatsoever. She explained that no one in this office would ever treat a patient like that and she seemed to be truly sad and bothered that I had gone through such bad experiences before. She said that everyone should be treated with dignity and proceeded to treat me with respect throughout the entire visit. She was very knowledgeable, gentle, and quick with all the X-rays and scans. Next I met Dr. Coburn, the dentist. He was involved from the beginning and introduced himself right away during the 3D scans instead of just at the start of the dental exam like most dentists. I informed him of my immediate concern as well as my hopes to discuss the possibility and cost of getting a beautiful smile. After looking at my mouth and my teeth, then looking over the X-rays and scans, he agreed with me 100%, called me in preemptive antibiotics and antifungals to my pharmacy, then sent me to the finance office to see what my options were. While I was in that office discussing my options with their finance manager, she listened to my situation, didn’t haggle me, and never made me feel like taking my money was all that they cared about. She wanted to give me the best options available to me that are within my price range, and that’s exactly what she did. So just earlier today… I learned that my lifelong dream of having a beautiful smile will be happening next week! I burst into tears while sitting in her office and thanked God for sending me here. So, Aspen Dental in Hendersonville, NC… thank you for everything… thank you for the gift of giving someone a beautiful smile they’ve dreamed about their whole life.

I suffer from periodontal disease and i have neglected it for 10+ years, dentist after dentist scared me, told me I needed to pull my teeth before I was 35 years old. Aspen Dental @ this location has been wonderful, from Ivy at the desk to Doreen in the back as a hygienist... give them a raise! Doreen was so gentle but still EXTREMELY THOROUGH! She has made my anxiety about the dentist alot less, still there, but she calms me down. I enjoyed her so much, i left crying tears of joy and hugged her. 100/10!! The owners of this business should be proud to have such an amazing set of staff working for them.

They failed to provide accurate information to insurance and did not respond quickly enough to allow the issue to be corrected so there was a remaining out of pocket expense. It was only $100, no big deal right. WRONG. They failed to contact to me about the remaining difference and sent a measly $100 bill to collections. You’ll spend more time talking to their sales manager than an actual dentist. For profit corporation bent on making as much money as possible. Avoid at all costs.

Very unsatisfied with this office and my experience. Two weeks for an adjustment and I have sores on my gums can't eat or talk right. And they took over a month to make my dentures

Experiencia negativa: This has got to be the most ridiculous office I’ve ever been to. Literally the SECOND I walked into the door I was told that my appointment was cancelled. I didn’t receive any emails or phone calls so I was confused. After talking to the receptionist, the ONLY GOOD THING about this location, she was kind enough to show me that she attempted to call and email me, but for whatever reason they weren’t pushing through. She also explained why they had to cancel the appointment, so I’m definitely not mad at her. She’s great. This receptionist is the best part of this location. Besides that, super disappointed that my appointment was canceled, and don’t recommend this location unless you want to chat up the receptionist, because she’s a delight lol

Experiencia negativa: I had scheduled an appointment for a 6 month cleaning. Upon arriving, I filled out the medical history form. I had a few xrays taken and went into the exam room. Had a few more scans done. Then they proceeded to upsell everything. They said I needed to get braces (I am 70 years old), needed to have a few cavities filled and said that a few of my teeth needed either capped or augmented in some manner that I did not understand. I told them I just wanted a basic cleaning. They told me I needed an extensive cleaning that would cost me $250 more than my insurance would pay for and it would take 2 visits to complete. (My insurance pays for 2 cleanings a year.) Again, I said I just wanted a basic cleaning and they refused to do it, so after about an hour, I said goodbye and left. I was warned that Aspen would upsell everything and I didn't think it would be this bad. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Now I have dentures that is so heavy and bulky, I can even eat a meal with them no matter how much glue I put in them. They promised me they would be thinner and light, trust me they are anything but that. I cannot get though a meal EVER without having to stop go put more glue in and hope they will hold till I get finished. It has been almost a yr since I've enjoyed eating. I've been back several times for them "to fix" them only to walk away with the same problem!!! NEVER EVER go to Aspen dental!!!

Experiencia negativa: FIND A DENTIST WHO KEEPS THEIR COMMITTMENTS. In a good deal of pain from a sharp, broken filling on a molar, I saw Aspen's door sign reading walk-ins welcome. I walked in, told the front desk I had a broken molar that needed emergency repair on a filling. They looked through their calendar and asked me to come back in 2 days for the repair, explaining the cost of x-rays, the needed exam, and the new filling. 2 days later, on the morning of, the sweet receptionist called and asked I come in as early as possible, suggesting one to two hours before my scheduled appointment. I arrived an hour before my scheduled appointment, and the dental assistant, also very sweet, explained that they only had time for x-rays and an exam. Possibly they could get to fixing my broken tooth, no guarantees. I confirmed she meant even if the tooth was fixable through another filling, rather than a crown or some other longer fix. Yes, she said, even another filling they could not guarantee. Possible. Possible? Had I just waited 2 days and taken off a full morning from work for a dentist to possibly get around to fixing a broken tooth? They definitely had time, I explained, I was there (and brought in for x-rays) at 10:30 for an 11:30 appointment, which appointment was made specifically to fix that broken tooth. Effectively the dentist now had a 2 hour time slot to take an x-ray and exam of a broken tooth and fill it. Plenty of time. Instead, I would be required to pay for a FULL exam and x-rays as to all teeth --not just the tooth with the broken filling --and then HOPE the dentist would get around to fixing my tooth. She checked with the dentist, explained the situation, and confirmed, yes, that was all correct. She put me in a separate small waiting room for the office manager, who 5-10 mins later never showed . . ...In increasing pain, I found another dental office, this time not a chain franchise, and walked in. It was night and day compared to my experience at Aspen. The single proprietor's office told me to return that same day, and he would work me in and repair the tooth if at all possible. God I wish I had found him first and not Aspen.

Experiencia negativa: I needed an emergency appointment due to severe abcess. Was in severe pain with my face rapidly swelling. Was told they had no appointments available on two consecutive days. I was forced to go the the emergency room for IV antibiotics. I am an established patient, but was told that the dentist in charge of the clinic instructed then to fill up all appointments and to reserve none for emergencies. Pure greed trumps patient's care, I guess. Will not go back.

For my first deep cleaning, I had no idea what to expect, but they made the whole experience incredibly comfortable. I was covered in a cozy blanket, given chapstick, and the music was 10 out of 10. Ivy is an absolute master of the front desk!

Experiencia negativa: Not happy with my visit to Aspen Dental Hendersonville today (2/3/26) First, after showing my new Medicare/United healthcare Advantage card, they checked on coverage & logged it into the database. Then I was informed my "new" insurance would not cover everything. So, I paid $48. Given no receipt or told why there was a charge I assumed simply that my new insurance didn't cover all that was needed. Upon cleaning & check out I was finally given my receipt for $48 which was for a procedure I DIDN'T want and was NEVER asked if I wanted it. They simply did it and charged me for it!! Additionally, after new X-Rays I was informed that they "suggest" I get new crown for a crown that they have NO record of in their database from which I had done in their facility about 2.5 years ago and I have receipts to prove it and will send a copy of said receipts to their facility office in order to update my records. I even have a "cast" of the jaw they made to receive the new crown (because their high-tech scanner was not working properly). Again. I'll send a pic to them in order to update their terrible database! To make matters worse, they seem to have records for fillings they have "supposedly" performed which I have NEVER had done there (once again I have all my records & receipts). Their records/database is grossly riddled with important errors!! I won't even get into the day I showed up for my cleaning with my card from my last cleaning showing the next appointment. That's when they said they have NO record of my appointment. That error caused me to go a whopping 18 months before my next cleaning!! The people there have been nice and pleasant but these errors are HUGE.

Experiencia negativa: I went to get a chipped tooth fixed and ended up being bombarded with sales pitches and reasons why I needed thousands of dollars worth of work done. I was there 2 hours and didn't even get my tooth fixed! After 5 people trying to get me to make a down payment and schedule an appointment for work I don't need or want, I left angry and agitated. They are all about the Almighty dollar and not about people and what they need, want, or can afford. I would never recommend or go back if my life depended on it. Oh, also , fixing a clean break in a small front tooth was quoted to me at over $400 and they told me I'd have to sign a waiver in case they mess it up. Lol no thanks

HIGHLY recommend!
