Experiencia fantástica: I had a great first visit with my 1 year old. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helped us feel very comfortable. They were so sweet to my child when he started feeling nervous and got emotional. The office itself is very clean & kid friendly, they have a beautiful fish tank, fun playground in the waiting room, and a great set up for kids. They can watch a show while in the chair, and are given free dental supplies & a toy & token as a reward for being cavity free! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: My kids had their first appointment today at MVPD! It was an amazing experience! Aubrey Arteaga was the dental assistant who cleaned their teeth and she was amazing! She gave us a tour, explained everything she was doing, and was just so sweet and great with my kids! The dentist was also amazing and thorough! He listened to my concerns and then explained in detail regarding any questions I had. Highly recommended! My son got sick while we were there and all the staff jumped right in to help and offer anything they could! The office is clean and fun for the kids and the front office staff was nice. Overall GREAT experience! My kids also loved the cavity free coins and that there was a theme to dress up! Thanks for a great first appointment!

He was kind, humorous and very thorough. His assistant Cambrie was also great to work with. She was patient and very friendly. Also, love the national park office theme!

They’re so respectful, they do a great job at explaining each kids personal dental needs they don’t push unnecessary treatments on your kids. They’re very sweet to all their patients and do their very best to help the kids feel comfortable and safe. Our last dentist we went to was pushy and a bit rude. After that we found the moose dentist and we have loved our experience! Dr. Nick and Dr. Cam have been super awesome with my kiddos and they have done great work on my kiddos teeth. I use to stress taking my kids to the dentist. Not anymore, I actually enjoy going to the dentist and so do my kiddos

Experiencia fantástica: We have been coming to Mountain View dental since my 8yr old was an infant. We moved to their west haven location when it opened as it was closer to our home. Today’s appointment for my 3 kids with Cambrie and Teri and Dr. Nick was great, they were on time, quick, gave the kids great instructions. The office is bright, clean and the decorations are fun! My kids love coming here and we’ll continue to get our dental services here.

Experiencia fantástica: I spoke to Kellie in billing, she was amazing! For my son’s dentist appointment, I had to pay it out of pocket, like over $300, because my insurance wasn’t showing active. Once I got insurance figured out, they back paid it and was told I was going to get a refund. This was back in February, 2 months ago, I still hadn’t gotten I and it’s a lot of money. I called and spoke to Kellie and she got it figured out and refunded me within 5 minutes. She was so sweet, thank you Kellie for your help!

Experiencia fantástica: They are fun, professional, and really great with kids. I was worried about my son freaking out to get cavities filled but they were so good with him. Great experience. They also have a great yearly payment system for those without insurance and it saves you a lot of money.

Experiencia fantástica: My kids look forward to their visits and frequently asks me when our next appointment is because they always have a positive experience! One of the assistants Emma was so great with my 4 and 2 year old. It was my 2 year old’s first visit, but she felt right at ease thanks to Emma. Few weeks after that visit, I had to bring my 4 year old back to get her cavities fixed. She was super nervous and was having a very difficult time, but Emma was kind, understanding, and patient the entire time. She was such an angel. Dr. Ray was also very patient and wonderful. I never imagined that I would be so moved by a dentist visit, but my heart is filled with gratitude today.

Desiree was so great with my little, letting her feel and hear the tools before using it in her mouth. She always explained the purpose of what she was doing. Cambri was also great, she did their Xrays was an excellent assistant. She was so good at having everything ready before the dentist even needed to ask for it. We had Dr. Nick today, and he was excellent at helping put my kids at ease when they were nervous, and explaing everything to me.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my wisdom teeth out at MVPD with their oral surgeon Dr. Dave and it was an awesome experience! I opted in the for PRF and Exparel and it helped so much. I had no pain, no swelling, and they gave awesome post Op instructions. The girl assistants were great and made me feel super comfortable. I’d definitely recommend their oral surgery!

Going back for fillings in a couple weeks, hopefully the little will still be as ecstatic after that visit!

My daughter does not do great at the doctors and has major stranger danger so I was expecting the worst. We had such a great experience. The dental assistant was so patient and great with my daughter. Showed her all of the tools and was so sweet and because of that she wasn’t scared and let them clean her teeth and take xrays like she was a pro. The dentist was nice as well. It made my day to see the extra care they take to make kids comfortable.

My kiddos have been so nervous about going to the dentist/doctor and they are spoiled each time with patience, kindness, happy faces, understanding, special treats if they dress up for the theme, tokens, and stickers! The whole team here really cares and they know what they are doing to help kids have a great experience! We always have seen Dr. Kimball and my kids think he is SO cool! It’s helpful at home when I can talk them into brushing their teeth for Dr. Kimball hahah He is so nice and fun with them! When my son had to have some teeth pulled the dentist called that night to check in on him. My kids always count down until they get to go to the dentist again.

Experiencia fantástica: I just can't say enough good about all of our experiences with Mountain View pediatric. They make going to the dentist so much fun! I'm so grateful my kids actually enjoy and look forward to seeing the dentist! They've always had reasonable treatment plans (vs the drill first ask questions later approach I hear about from other pediatric dental offices). The few times I've been unsure of confused about going forward with something they've taken the time to talk through different options. They treat me like an intelligent, loving parent. They actually hear me and aren't out to just sell me on a product. Dr. Cam gave me so much hope, in addition to a solution, when my baby had a lip and tongue tie and I felt so defeated and discouraged. Dr. Kimball helped us reduce the extensive work needed for one of my kiddos, and at other times he has given me great help and advice for other potential concerns. His advice has always come free of criticism and judgement, and full of encouragement and compassion. In a normal, friendly conversation with Dr. Jake he was able to uncover a potential concern with my child's overall health and encouraged us to ask some more questions and get some more information. One of the assistants (I'm pretty sure her name is Tori) is so friendly and easy to talk to! I was probably more stressed and nervous than my child before their procedure, but she put me right at ease. I have no doubt that all of their doctors, hygienists, and staff sincerely have my kids' best interest at heart at every appointment. They also have a great sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously! You can see they are passionate, knowledgeable, and having SO much fun! I recommend them to everyone! We will never go anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: We go to the West Haven location now since it's closest. And we love it. My kids never complain about going to the dentist. They get excited. The staff are so good with children, gentle and patient. If my kids ever need a filling, the dentist will follow up with me later in the day to check in on my child and see how they are recovering. They really do provide great patient care.

We love these guys and will recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist! They will treat your child with amazing care and kindness. They will also help them feel at ease if they are experiencing any fear or anxiousness. Let’s be honest the dentist can be a scary place but not these guys they are literally the best hands down!

Experiencia fantástica: We were super nervous about having our two year old boy going through a dental procedure to fix his two front teeth and we weren’t quite sure how it would go, but thanks to the team at MVPD it went so smoothly! We got a reminder text a week beforehand, and then a text from the doctor the night before to give us instructions and to ask if we had any questions. The actual procedure went very well and our boy doesn’t even know what happened haha I can’t say enough how good these guys were. A++

They were supportive through the healing process, answering questions and checking in. It took a little time, but with the release and some IBCLC help, my baby's latch is SO much better!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend Mountain View Dental enough! After a not-so-great experience at our old office, I was nervous about finding a new dentist for my kids. From the very first phone call, Corina in scheduling was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, patient, and reassuring… she even squeezed us in right away when my son was having pain. When we arrived, Bree (assistant) went above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable. She was fun, engaging, and made the whole experience so much easier. I truly appreciated the way she connected with them. Dr. Cam was also wonderful. He was gentle, thorough, and explained everything in a way that put both me and my kids at ease. The whole team made what could have been a scary or stressful experience into something positive and uplifting. For anyone who struggles with dental anxiety, this office really does go above and beyond to make you feel safe and cared for. Highly, highly recommend!

Check in was a breeze, the office was clean and tastefully designed/decorated. The wait time was short. Exam office was comfortable and the assistant was VERY good with my almost two year old daughter throughout the whole process of x rays, exam, and then having her chipped tooth filed down. The doctor was awesome!!!! He was great with my daughter and to my surprise she calmly sat in the chair and allowed him to file down a chipped front tooth. I came home and told my husband how impressed I was with the experience! Highly recommend

The dentists are all very good about explaining what the pros and cons of various treatments are. They never push anything and I totally trust their judgment. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Experiencia negativa: Pretty bummed about having to write this review. We initially switched over to Mountain view dental due to a poor experience we had at a different location. Our son did REALLY well with Dr Jake, extremely well actually, and his assistant. We had no problems there, where we did experience issues is being given a break down of how much we would owe for all this work done to only be met at his last appointment having to pay for a “balance” we weren’t made aware of having. After being told we wouldn’t pay anything that day of his visit, a WEEK before Christmas. When asked how to proceed forward and how I can regain their trust it was met with I’m sorry, and that they’d propose the work before to the insurance and figure out what the insurance would pay, which I’m bummed they didn’t do before hand. If you need a good dentist, Dr Jake is your man, but as far as billing goes, I would add an extra $300-$400 dollars to your “estimate” portion.

Experiencia fantástica: We love MVPD! The thing I especially appreciated about our appointment this time was that it was so fast! With small kids, it's important that things move quickly while keeping them comfortable. The staff respond well to my kids needs during our visit and keep us moving through cleanings, x rays, and the dentist visit timely. In the past if my child has had a hard time with a part of the visit, it's never been a big deal and we just move on. There's no forcing them to comply with any part of the visit. I also can't say enough good about Dr. Kimball! He is the very best

They called me back first thing Monday morning and even got us in the same day . I had to call and delay my appointment & they worked with me . Then I went to the wrong office and they still worked with me and waited for us to get to the correct office for the appointment that was at that point 20 minutes later then what was originally planned . They got us right in and asked my son what he wanted and how he felt with every step . It was clean , friendly , fast and easy.

Experiencia fantástica: We had our 6 month checkup for my 4 & 3 year old kids yesterday. They love going to Mountainview, they’re a little disappointed that their next checkup is so far away. We have worked with Drs Ray, Cam and Kimball and each was so awesome! Definitely recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Mountain View! The staff here are amazing! Makayla was awesome at doing x-rays and getting our little one excited about them. Dr. Jake is our favorite! He speaks Spanish which we appreciate for our son who is learning two languages.

Experiencia fantástica: Taking your kids to the dentist may sound like a chore but at MVPD my kids look forward to their cleanings every time! The team is so fun and welcoming. They are always accommodating with my kiddos and do everything they can to make them feel comfortable. Dr. Rey is incredible and so quick! I recommend them to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: We can't say enough good things about Mountain View Peds Dental. We've been to the Farmington Location and now the West Haven. The staff is incredible with my kiddo. A+++

Experiencia fantástica: We have been going to this dentist for 7 years and started seeing Dr Cam but have now used all of them and love them all! We now sometimes come to the West Haven location and the kids love the rock climbing wall and all the national park info all over. Everyone here is so kind and I’m so glad that my kids don’t have a fear of the dentist like I did and it’s because of great dentists and hygienists.
