Experiencia fantástica: They completely fixed my teeth. It took 5 years but the result was great!

Experiencia negativa: The staff is friendly and they make kids feel good with all the games, goodies, etc, but I am not sure the treatment is done well. We are not happy with the results. The final visit - they dont really walk you through before and after unless you specifically ask. We did not even see any noticeable difference after 2 years of treatment. Upon request, the dentist does not even come and talk to you, let alone on her own during visits. My kid said the staff in the back office seems junior and they even forgot to tighten/adjust the wires during one visit. I have gone through this process with my older child at another clinic (couldn't go thete since the dentist retired) and the dentist used to walk us through the interim changes and definitely before/after treatment which was a world of change. Overall, the office has great reviews but I am skeptical recommending them to anyone

Experiencia fantástica: 5 Stars Isn’t Enough — We Love Our Orthodontist! I honestly can’t understand how this place has any bad reviews because our experience has been consistently wonderful. The office is always packed — and for good reason. Their schedule is full because they are that good, and people keep coming back. I trust them completely with my kids’ smiles. All three of my children have been treated here, and we are thrilled with their results. They genuinely care — not just about straight teeth, but about healthy development. The doctor is one of the kindest, most compassionate practitioners you’ll ever meet, and her staff is exceptional: welcoming, patient, thorough, and great with kids. One thing I appreciate so much about their approach is how thoughtful they are about timing. They don’t rush into extracting teeth before a child’s jaw has had a chance to grow and widen naturally — something that can be crucial for long‑term facial and dental health. While some practices might yank teeth too early, this doctor focuses on guiding jaw growth and making space intelligently so that the permanent teeth have room to come in correctly. That patient‑first philosophy — combined with real expertise — means healthier outcomes and happier kiddos. Beyond the clinical side, she does a lot of charity work, which says a lot about her heart and values. You don’t see doctors doing that unless they truly care about people beyond just business. If you’re looking for an orthodontist who is professional, patient‑centered, high‑quality, and genuinely lovely, this is your place. My kids feel comfortable and confident every visit, and we definitely recommend her to other families!

The doctor and team are extremely knowledgeable. Maria is amazing with her attention to detail. I was extremely pleased with my results. I would recommend anyone come pay them a visit if you are considering braces!

Experiencia negativa: This place is literally the worst dentist I went to. The costumer service is the lowest ever. I drove for 1 hour and came 15 minutes late which they said was fine. But when I arrived they said that they won’t see all of my 2 sisters and me because we are late. When I said that the last time we came there that said 15 minutes was fine. Now they won’t let me talk to the manager and are threatening me that they will call the police

The office had new and updated equipment from what I can tell. My overall experience is good and has been consistently good in part because of the prompt appointment reminders to the calls backs I get from the staff. The discussion on cost/payment plan was clear and without any issues or surprises.

The receptionists are all nice and knowledgeable in helping me with all my questions. The dental assistants are very hospitable and aim to make sure your experience is as easy as possible without any unnecessary discomfort. Big shout out to Maria for always being awesome and brightening the room with her positive attitude. Highly recommend them if you are looking to get work done on your teeth from the best ortho group in the bay area
