Experiencia fantástica: I got really lucky. This was the first dentistry that I contacted, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome, but also the atmosphere. They make you feel like you are the only patient they have. Because they really do care. It's really cool how the doctor will bounce around to 3 or 4 patients at the same time and never miss a beat. Get this started here, finish this there, numb this guy, and talk with staff. It's awesome. I got really lucky. I can't say enough. If you're looking for any type of implant or fixed denture this is the place. This is Cheer's in a dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: When our dentist retired many years ago Dr Krauss took over the practice. Not only does my husband go to Dr Krauss our adult daughters, their spouses, and grandchildren. The staff is great and the environment is relaxing. Explaining, viewing along the way with you being able to see your x rays and looking at completed work with a mirror. I have always had anxiety when going to the dentist. I can listen to my phone, given a neck pillow and at times a throw blanket when needed and am always asked if I am ok along the way. I would highly recommend him and his office.

Experiencia fantástica: I live in Las Vegas now. Dr Krauss’ office in Bakersfield, CA made my full set of dentures six years ago. Recently due to shrinking gums they have become loose. I came back to him to have them relined for because I have been so happy with them and I wanted the best. He gave me an immediate appointment, explained what would be done, took the impressions and arranged to have the work completed by the next day. He is compassionate and so good at what he does. I won’t go to anyone else if I need denture work.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE!!! IF I could give zero I would read the actual reviews of this place first and trust them, I wish I would have. They have NO idea what they are doing. period. The blonde receptionist is extremely rude and forced me to sign paper work stating I was happy with my treatment when I clearly stated I wasn't. They charged me over 1,000 for a false tooth that looks like something fake from the dollar store, when doing the mold the staff said several times that aren't sure what they are doing and had to all take turns to try and get it right, it almost went down my throat and choked me. They had my name wrong the first appointment when I told them that was not my name, THE NEXT TWO APPOINTMENTS they still had my name wrong, my name was even wrong on the paper work they had me sign so I'm considering suing, thats how bad my experience was here, I have a lovely family and I have a good job and I never talk about people like this but this office needs to be closed down or get better training so they don't hurt people or perform bad practices and change someone life forever. MONEY I saved for months is gone for nothing. DO BETTER SMILE DESIGN YOUR CITY IS PISSED. Trust the reviews there is probably at least 60 that state they had bad issues here. That speaks volumes. Choose a diffferent office.

I had the best hygienist who cleaned my teeth thoroughly, but found a problem with two teeth. Dr Krauss examined my X-rays and my teeth, & confirmed that I need to replace two crowns to protect my exposed roots. It has been caused from grinding my teeth. I am so grateful for the great dental care I receive with Dr. Krauss, and his expertise. Thank you so much Dr. Krauss and team. Experiencia negativa: Please first read the one star reviews on Yelp before visiting this dentist! I am sorry to do this but after a lot of thought I do have to write this review. Although office staff and Dr. Krauss were very friendly and my appointment started on time, I could never recommend this dental office to anyone. Within the first minute of my evaluation with Dr. Krauss, he told me I needed an extraction and that the extraction, bone graft, post and implant fitting would all be done the same day. Upon a simple Google search after my appointment and confirmed by my new dentist this is a very DANGEROUS treatment plan as pain and infection are almost guaranteed with a one-day extraction and implant. Your bone needs time to heal before placing the post and implant, etc. Dr. Krauss and his assistants told me I had to wait for my insurance to approve me deep cleaning. This is not true. I think their primary objective was getting insurance to approve the extraction and implant, and therefore they needlessly postponed by deep cleaning treatment. I asked for my x-rays which they did send over (thank you to the office staff), but after not hearing back for two weeks about my insurance approval, I called my insurance company myself and they informed me they had only received the request from the dentist office the previous day (2 weeks after my appointment) so I guess they forgot about me. Before you see this dentist please read the one-star reviews on Yelp. Broken crowns and rejected implants and customers on Yelp say the doctor refused to see them and even called the police on some of their clients who came to see the doctor directly after being ignored by the front office. The icing on the cake is the review that states Dr. Krauss offered discounts to clients in exchange for five-star reviews on Google. Do your homework and research this dental practice, avoid being pressured into treatments without getting a second opinion.

Experiencia negativa: I decided to stop coming here when the dentist wanted to charge me 8,000$ (which is not covered by insurance) to replace a whole tooth (for crowns) when it was not even a big deal. This place is a scam and just wants your money. Beware. They don’t care about you and your dental health. I recommend a different dentist. Not this one.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at this location is always the same. You guys are always professional. How ever the new kid was opening instruments and handling them without gloves. I asked him shouldn't he be using gloves due to what he was opening was sterile and I go cause that stuff you're handling is going in my mouth. You have no gloves on he would walk out of the room and come back in, not washing his hands, but in the process not wearing gloves while he was holding our place in the instruments and stuff where they needed to be after I asked him that. he said I'll get a new one. He replaced one that he had touched, but everything else that he had touched with no gloves on remain there and they went into my mouth. He would walk out of the room with gloves on come back in. I don't know if he's he was doing, but he should pull him gloves off and put a fresh pair of gloves on every time and especially open sterile instruments and touching them with his bare hands with no gloves on other than that as always my experience with Dr is very very good and very friendly and I Appreciate that

My old dentist told me I needed to get a crown, but Dr. Krauss knew about internal whitening process and my original tooth color was back to normal and matching all my other teeth within 7-10 days.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr.Krauss and his amazing staff went above and beyond to help me with my dental issue and solve it within a matter of days, his work is top notch and his assistant Mariah does an outstanding job at what she is trained to do and she is very gentle. I can't thank this office enough.

Experiencia positiva: The staff was very cool and bobbi was very polite the doctor was straight to the point about the treatment. On what he can and can’t do I’m going back to get treatment done so Idk how the actual work is yet but so far so good accept the candy .lol

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. The receptionist Amber put an extra charge of almost $800 on my chart that was never discussed or even needed. After bringing this up to her, she kept changing my chart with more incorrect charges. By the time I got my refund check, my chart was still incorrect because she refused to just admit to her original mistake. On top of all of this, the dentist did a procedure on my tooth that made it worse. Originally the tooth only needed a filling but the dentist suggested a root canal. The day Dr Krauss was supposed to do the root canal, he decided to just put a temporary crown on it instead, claiming it didn't need a root canal. But after he put the temporary crown on, the tooth pain became unbearable. I called their office and even went into their office to ask if they could just pull it because I could not sleep or eat at this point. Amber insisted I go through with the root canal because I had "already paid for it" (at this point I had already inquired about the incorrect charges on my chart but she had not looked into them yet). In despair to get out of pain I agreed to do the root canal which now I deeply regret. The pain has only continued to get worse since root canal treatment. Today I went to their office to get the x-rays of the procedures done there and to speak with the dentist in regards to this tooth because it is causing so much pain. Amber called me "nuts" for wanting to talk to the dentist about this tooth he worked on. She asked me to leave and I said I would once I can speak to the dentist for just five minutes. She then called the cops on me, which was fine with me because I also wanted to talk to the police in hopes they could help me bypass Amber and allow me to speak to the dentist directly about this tooth. Since I didn't leave after she called the cops, the office pretended to "close" for the rest of the day and lied to my face saying the dentist had already left. About 10 minutes later more patients walked into their office so I also went back into their office in hopes to get just five minutes with the dentist. After over 4 hours of waiting in their lobby in pain, Amber then told me that Dr Krauss is not going to and does not want to speak to me at all in regards to this tooth. Their lack of respect, consideration and integrity is incredibly alarming. If you're currently a patient with their office I highly advise you to thoroughly look over your chart and the charges. If youre a new patient I hope you look for a more trustworthy and compassionate dental office. I have attached two photos, the larger tooth is the one with immense pain that Dr Krauss refuses to speak to me about after he did treatment to it.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an incident with my crown falling out while on vacation. Called Dr Krauss at Bakersfield Smile Design. They got me straight in for a consult and went out of their way to make another appointment that afternoon to fix my tooth. It looks better than before ! Cannot recommend Dr Krauss and his staff enough they are wonderful, thanks so much guys ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Krauss and his team were so great! They got me in same day and walked me through the treatment. Everyone on his staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Dr. Krauss for any of your dental needs.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist office has to be the oldest looking office I have ever been to, walking in the walls had noticeable chipping paint there are no actual chair just some old couches like the dentist upgraded his couches and home and didn’t want to throw the old one away and decided to put them in the waiting room as well as the entertainment center. Out dated equipment and technology. The hygienist had to keep asking the receptionist if she was taking x rays correctly and how to notate. When the hygienist asked dentist to come check everything out he yelled a snark remark from another room where he was with another patient (HIPPA Violation) and didn’t even come in. I’m new to town and this experience sure left me not ever going there again. The receptionist also answered the phone very low spirits. It’s funny how he replied to every bad review by bashing the reviewer “to be clear” can’t wait to see what he replies to mine. It seems to be a common trend with his bad review they all seem to think he snarky and arrogant. Hope they got all the money they could squeeze out of my insurance it’s evident he is all about pocketing as much money as possible with out investing into his practice not taking customers satisfaction seriously. I’ll be heading to gentle dental where I was offered great service for my next visit to the dentist . Wish you nothing but luck with your mediocre practice. No need to threaten with flagging my profile I wouldn’t think of calling your office again.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in tears, not from tooth pain but from being stressed out over dealing with one more issue! A broken crown!! It was Friday afternoon and my plate was full!! We are heading to Vegas tomorrow to help my daughter who is “delivering” anytime and I didn’t have time for an emergency!! But when I arrived at the office Dr. Krause and his staff were so empathic and jumped right in and took great care of me. I am so grateful!!

Experiencia fantástica: I walked out of my consultation with a big smile. Very informative and Dr. Krause was super nice and office staff was extremely pleasant. Can’t wait to get my new teeth done there in a couple weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent patience with me. Dentist and Dental Assistants were professional, warm, and accommodating . All were very attentive and they made sure that I was not only comfortable but that I was aware of what my process entailed. EVERYONE should have this experience with their dentist!!!
