Experiencia negativa: So I had originally come in for x-rays and a cleaning. While doing the X-rays It was incredibly uncomfortable bordering on painful. I had to hold the bite tabs. Another place that I went to she just held them in place so it was a much more pleasant experience. When they measured my gum line, she kept stabbing me in the gum line. I should’ve said something, but I didn’t, but that really hurt. I was told that I would need a deep cleaning with a laser, which is very unusual to me because I take care of my teeth very well. When I told them I would rather have a regular cleaning. I didn’t want to have high pressured water on my gum line. When I have a history of over water flossing and making the inflammation worse. My Gums were still recovering from that. I told them that I had other soft tissue, inflammatory conditions and so I wanted just a regular cleaning. They basically said that I have to do it their way or they can’t see me. So I left. I went to Jubilee after that and they just gave me a regular cleaning and said I didn’t need a deep cleaning. The front desk staff was very wonderful at Aspen. But I would never ever ever go here again ever. You should have the right as a patient to choose. They basically were forcing my hand into something that my insurance might not have covered. Just seems completely unethical.

Experiencia negativa: I was charged for multiple things i wasn’t aware i would be charged for. Lots of “Here’s this” or “ And we’re going to give you this” but never mentioned any costs at the time i was given MULTIPLE items including toothbrush, water pik, mouthwash, pastes, gel, and more.. very very highly disappointed. I asked for a receipt via phone call after seeing my charge nearly $3000 , originally around $2000 was told it would be 24-48 hours and it took me calling back 3 days later and asking again for them to finally email one over. The staff was nice, hence the 2 stars instead of 1. Just wasn’t a good experience and won’t be returning to this location sadly.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Aspen dental since 2024. I have had the same dental insurance since January 2024. Yesterday they asked me if I had changed dental insurance I stated no I’ve had the same one. The receptionist stated that I did change dental insurance because what they have on file was different than what I was stating. My appointment was at 9:30 AM. I was there at 9:30 AM however, because of they’re so-called insurance change on my part they then told me that I would have to reschedule my appointment because it had been 15 minutes since I got there and they were still working on my insurance and wanted me to reschedule for tomorrow. I was very frustrated for the fact that they were not going to see me that day and for the fact that they were telling me that I had a different insurance when I can assure them I’ve had the same insurance since 2024. I will not be using them again. Neither will my family. My husband had a similar experience the last time he went to get his teeth, cleaned something happened and they were not able to see him on that day.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was very nice and I felt comfortable getting X-rays. I was a bit upset when I left because I had called 3 times before making an appointment for the first time. I asked if Medicare Advantage dual SNP was accepted. I was told it was. After the exam and talking to nice lady who goes over costs I was upset because I didn't want to waste your time or mine before I made an appointment. I stated I only wanted what my insurance paid. Nothing cosmetic. Then I'm told UHC was only insurance accepted. I was offered your financing plan. Almost 13,000. Wow...I appreciate the X-rays being sent at my request to another dentist I found who accepts my insurance. Also, thank you for calling in antibiotics for infection. I don't usually participate in any reviews for anything. I just feel I was mislead about the insurance.

Experiencia negativa: ☆☆☆☆ – High-Pressure Sales Disguised as Dental Care I went to Aspen Dental for a dentures consultation and walked out feeling like I’d just sat through a used-car sales pitch. I’ve had routine cleanings every 6 months for the past 7 years. Not once—ever—has my regular dentist told me I had periodontal disease. Suddenly, during Aspen’s “free” exam, I’m told I have bone loss and beginning periodontal disease, and that dentures aren’t the real solution. Instead, they pivoted immediately to selling me: • 3 crown bridges • Additional treatments • A treatment plan totaling $14,367 No conservative options. No “wait and see.” No acknowledgment of my consistent dental history. Just pressure, fear-based language, and financing talk. The diagnosis felt conveniently timed to justify a massive upsell. If periodontal disease had truly been present, it would not have gone unnoticed for 7 years of regular care. Periodontal disease doesn’t magically appear overnight and suddenly require five-figure dentistry. The entire experience felt corporate, rushed, and sales-driven, not patient-centered. I wasn’t treated like someone seeking care—I was treated like a revenue opportunity. If you’re a senior, on a fixed income, or coming in for dentures, be extremely cautious. Get a second opinion before agreeing to anything here. Dental care should be about health—not quotas.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 6 years of my childhood in dental offices and many years afterwards. Because of this I’ve avoided seeing a dentist as much as possible. Aspen Dental is absolutely the best experience I have ever had in a dental office. They explained every bit of information that they diagnosed of my teeth health. Previously nobody had ever educated me on my dental health. I only went in to have a crown reattached and they went above and beyond I will return for my all dental needs. Experiencia negativa: Absolute horrible service, scheduled for a consultation/X-Ray. Not only did I get moved to several different rooms because of their machines having “technical difficulties”, after all of this I’m basically told they’re going to stop trying the X-ray machine because it is not working, then to top all of this off the lady in charge of doing my X-Ray essentially just “shoos” me out the door and I’ve asked her at this point two or three times do I need to make another appointment or something and she just says “no someone will call you later to reschedule” . Well after a week still no call, so no I don’t recommend this place they don’t care about your tooth problems at all just trying to get a paycheck, shame.

Experiencia positiva: Really appreciate how friendly the staff is and how far everyone goes to make you feel comfortable (esp. for someone with a phobia of dentists). I recently had to have dental surgery for wisdom teeth removal, something I had put off for years. The surgery was done with relative few panic attacks on my side. The only negative is my complete frustration with cost and dental insurance as a whole (not sure what the point of it is?)

I have childhood dentist trauma but Aspen has not caused me to be triggered. Also, met the best ortho surgeon who removed a bump from inside my lip. He made me feel relaxed. Experiencia negativa: This is the worst experience I have had a dentist. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out here and nearly 2 years later I still am having jaw problems with constant popping and even hard for my mouth to open all the way when eating. I also went for a teeth cleaning and they tried to charge me $900 for a deep laser cleaning that I did not want and would not just clean my teeth like I wanted. They always try to charge you more and the quality is worse. I will never go back here and have found a much better dentist in the area.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone should be cautious and do thorough research before choosing this office. In my experience, they consistently look for ways to charge patients unnecessary fees. I have been a patient here for four years only because my insurance was connected to this location. During my first visit, after a routine check-up, they handed me a toothbrush and toothpaste. I later discovered that the $135 I paid was not for the check-up, but for that toothbrush. When I returned to tell them I didn’t need it, they refused to take it back and told me to contact Oral-B myself. I had a cleaning in June 2024, which my insurance covers once a year. When I called in April 2025 to schedule my next cleaning, I was told I had to wait until June for a full year to pass. When I called again in June, I was then told my insurance would not cover it unless I agreed to a deep cleaning. They quoted me $650 out of pocket, so I agreed just to avoid further complications. Today, I received a call stating I owed an additional $30 from my 2024 visit for “toothpaste.” When I explained I never received toothpaste, they changed their explanation and said it was for “gel applied to my teeth.” This inconsistency is extremely concerning and feels dishonest. Based on these repeated issues, I no longer trust this office and will not be returning. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Experiencia fantástica: This office has worked very hard to please me with the transition to dentures. Dr Torres has gone above and beyond to make the final product a reality. We hit several snags along the way, and sometimes I wanted to just throw up my hands and settle, but I reminded myself (and the team) how much money I invested for the Signature Elite package. Today was the magic day of seeing the new smile and I couldn’t be any happier with the results. I would recommend this office to anyone as scared as I was in the beginning. Thank you for my new, beautiful, healthy smile! Note: get a discount plan they recommend for awesome cost saving benefits. It took 2 days to activate the coverage to save thousands.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in for an extraction for one tooth... turns out that I have a jaw bone that don't like any of my teeth, so I have to have what's left of my bottom teeth pulled... they were so patient with me because I started crying. It's an embarrassing thing I'm going through but they really showed that they truly care..I used another dentist and Aspen is nothing like them.. thank you Aspen team for all that you do for people. Lisa is so great... when you tell her something is uncomfortable she fixes it immediately... Lisa gets 5 stars from me

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived at Aspen Dental in Wichita Falls, after leaving my primary dentist office. I had been in the most severe pain all weekend long. On Monday, I went to my primary doctor. I was given medication, and was told I needed surgical extraction done as soon as possible. They scheduled me for 10 days later. I left there in tears. The pain, even with pain meds, was unbearable! There was no way I would make it 10 days. I went immediately to Aspen as a walk-in, praying they could help me. I was met by Stefanie, the hygenist, who was helping at the front desk. She and another male co-worker, had all my information and insurance verified alomst immediately. Within a matter of minutes, they had me back for x-rays and in to the procedure room. Within a total of 30 minutes, Dr. Torres had me numb and my tooth extracted. I arrived crying and in extreme pain. I left, feeling grateful and thanking God the team was there to help me. These guys care! Thank you, Aspen Dental, Wichita Falls for taking good care of me. You have made a loyal patient in me.

Experiencia fantástica: My father-in-law had a painful dental issue that needed an immediate appointment. I called several dental offices only to be told they had no appointments available until next week or not accepting new patients. I looked at the Aspen Dental website, called and was scheduled for the very first appointment of the morning. Every one in the office was caring, professional and friendly. They treated my father-in-law wonderfully and he was grateful for the great care. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I made a same day appointment for my 6 year old son which was great! My insurance listed Aspen as in-network, but once I got to the office, they said there were no dentists credentialed for my plan. I planned on paying out of pocket for the exam, but the office manager was so kind to wave the fee since I was mislead by my insurance company. The medical staff were all so kind as well and so good with my son!

Experiencia fantástica: These folks are great!!! I had my dentures made here about a year ago and absolutely love them.. best fitting pair i have ever had…. I broke a tooth on my top denture and took it in for them to fix under warrantee and i had them back in about two hours… surprised me… They are always polite and very efficient…. You looking for any denture work talk to these folks …. 5 star!!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in with a broken tooth and tooth pain. They were able to do a new patient exam, X-rays, payment and extraction. all less than 4 hours. The staff was super friendly. From my initial call to set up my appointment, to being greeted by the sweet staff at the front desk, the dental assistants were super attentive and friendly. Letting me know what was happening and answering any questions I had. Checking on me during wait times. The doctor was quick and professional. The procedure went smoothly and pain free! Very happy with the services.

Experiencia negativa: I read all the glowing reviews and was expecting better than what I got. My first thing is this, don't make my appointment for 1:30 pm and tell me to be there 15 minutes early when you don't even open till 1:30. I am glad that at least they did unlock the door so I could wait inside. By the time they started seeing people the waiting room was nearly full. Then I was given the paper work to fill out. Isn't that why they have you come in 15 minutes early? Why didn't the guy behind the desk have me fill these out while I waited? All the female staff were very nice. The x-rays were a bit tedious but I understand needing them. Everything was explained to me, and my questions were answered. Then the dentist came in. I was sitting in the dental chair that lays back, so my legs were up. I have lymphedema in my legs, more so in my left leg. If you know anything at all about lymphedema you know it's caused by the lymphatic system being damaged so lymph fluid isn't moved like it should be causing really bad swelling. And in the summer the heat makes it so much worse. But this is Texas! It's hot! I try to wear long pants as much as I can to hide my legs, but it was really hot so I wore capris. The dentist comes in, and I don't remember his name but he was younger and wearing a mask. And I could see him looking at my legs. I am already VERY self conscience about my legs, so this makes me uncomfortable. After telling me about my treatment options for my teeth, he then says "Are you getting treatment for your.....your...." Then he starts gesturing towards my legs. I explained that I have lymphedema and it is made worse in the summer. And yes I have received LOTS of treatment, and I have lost over 100 pds, trying to get my legs as healthy as I can. (There is no cure for lymphedema.) By this time I was trying not to cry. He left the room and after a brief wait I was taken to a room to wait to hear my insurance and financial options. Once alone I couldn't hold my tears in any longer. I was so upset. So humiliated. It has taken me YEARS to get to where I will wear anything besides jeans when I go out of my house. This one appointment has set me right back to not going to wear anything but jeans again. I decided that I didn't want to hear anything else, I wasn't going to use Aspen Dental. So I got up , still crying, I couldn't stop. Luckily there were tissues in the waiting room. As I was trying to leave the staff noticed I was crying and upset. They were concerned, but I just wanted to get out of there. I was so upset. I am a nurse so I understand needing health info. But that is why I filled out those papers. I have never EVER had a dentist or eye doctor or any medical professional besides my medical doctor ask about my legs. And the gesturing?! That didn't help. I had a totally humiliating experience. I cried in my car for about 10 minutes before I could leave. So while it seems everyone else had great experiences at this location, I did not. I will not go back. I do not recommend. Sorry this was so long but I wish I would've read a review like this and saved my time on going there.

Experiencia negativa: The most odd dental experience I have ever had. I see many others had the same experience, they barely look at your teeth and then say you have gum disease which will cost $1000 to fix. The dental assistant barely spoke, as did the hygienist and no one explains anything. The only reason I gave two stars was because the front desk was friendly and the doctor was cute lol but seemed kind of nervous.
